Won’t even send me a email to reset my info

Garbage app

Notifications do not work & Security features missing from old app

Old app had better card features. Notifications aren’t live pushed you have to open BerkshireBank to get even an sms update and you only get a single option to lock your card. No withdrawal limiting or location locking your card.

Honestly terrible design. I’ll consider changing my rating if more features come soon.

Fix the push and sms message to actually work already please.

Horrible

BerkshireBank and website it absolutely horrible. They apparently upgraded it but it’s so much worse. BerkshireBank and website glitch. When I do bill pay it shows the scheduled payments and sometimes it doesn’t show who I’m paying or it will show duplicates. I end up thinking I’m paying the same bill twice. Everything is harder to access. Less user friendly. Have to click through multiple screens to do 1 function. This is the worst online banking experience I have ever had.

Frustrated.

I have yet to receive one email confirmation of a deposit since the changeover of the new system. I have called numerous times to resolve this issue and it has never been resolved. Furthermore, I have set up email alerts on my accounts none of which are generated until I log into my account, and then I receive a basket full of former email alerts. What good is an alert to the system first to generate it never see fraudulent activity until it is long past occurred. I have banked with Berkshire Bank since you were the Woronoco Bank over 50 years and I am considering leaving your because this new system is so faulty

Terrible

Im not sure why but before this new app it was very rare for me to ever go overdraft. After BerkshireBank everything is always pending and I end up being charged overdraft multiple times in a day. I have had this bank for over 10 years and haven’t had this issue. Now this new app comes out and I get charged all the time. The bank says it’s me but like I said I never had this hassle on the old app. Switching banks!

Can’t login

I tied to log in several times. It keeps saying they sent instructions to my email. The last email they sent me was last Thursday, which basically says to use the same user name and password which I’ve been trying to do. They sent nothing new to my email. It won’t let me login . I’m beyond ticked off I have not been able to view my account for days!!!! Half their atms either don’t work or in (not trusted)
areas. I understand it’s the first day of roll out, but since this is a new app why shut down the old before new one is ready?

Can't log in anymore

I've been a customer for 27 years. A working app is table stakes for any bank. Time to look for a new one.

It’s awful…

They new app makes my banking harder. The old one was much more simple in appearance, but far easier to use.

It also took fewer steps to accomplish tasks. I feel like I am “clicking” twice as many things to accomplish what I used to.

Can we go back?

The original app was better

I’ve had BerkshireBank for years and never had a problem with it until they did their stupid update. Now every time I log in it’s always something. I keep having to prove I am who I am even tho I enter my password. Or i have to log onto their website and answer all these questions just to check and see if a bill has been taken out yet. Hopefully they figure it out because this is ridiculous

A nightmare !!!!!

Awful new app . I can’t even get into my account

Take the money and run!!!!

Been with this bank my entire life. It used to be great before Berkshire took over. Now it’s horrendous. BerkshireBank changes right when your bills are due causing you 3 days of stress trying to get new app setup. They will not fight to find your money if you get hacked on their debit cards. They don’t value their depositors. Stop supporting warren buffet,he doesn’t deserve to use another hard earned dollar of yours to multiply dollars into his own wallet while We all struggle to live on a day to day basis.

Worst Banking APP Ever

If BerkshireBank wasn’t already the most difficult one to access, they took it to a whole new level of user unfriendliness with the recent update. They want to be inclusive to everyone except their paying customers!

Bring back old app

Why new is much worse then old? Before I can see where was deposit done, what branch ,what teller. Not any info. Just Deposit. Before I can transfer any amount inside my accounts and outside. Why is limit 10000 in 30 days? New app don’t have any logic. Bring old app back.
If you not switch back to old platform I will go to other bank with better logic

No Notifications

Why would you remove the most important function? I have been using BerkshireBank for years and you decided it was a good idea to remove notifications? Whoever’s idea that was needs to be replaced.

Disappointed with the “new improved” app

Hate the new user interface. They took away the bill pay button, which is how I primarily use BerkshireBank . Now I have to scroll to the bottom, click a button to enter the payment center, then a long scroll to find the payee because each one takes a third of my phone screen instead of just the list of names. Too cumbersome. I’ll probably start going to the payees individual websites and make the payments.

1/5

App doesn’t even open

Horrible app.

This will be the second time writing a 1-star review, not sure where the first one went but the issue was never resolved. 1. No matter how many times I log in, BerkshireBank will refuse to remember that I enabled Face ID and forces me to authenticate via text/email DESPITE checking enable Face ID numerous times. This was what my first review was about. 2. The past two days, I haven’t been able to log into my account. I tried deleting my app and reinstalling with no luck.

3. I go to the website to log in, because I need to transfer money between accounts for bills, and it says error. Nice

New platform

I’m not one to make comments on reviews. I’m going to keep this very simple, Terrible. Bring back the old online platform. Paying bills online is pretty much useless. I’m one for change, but this does not deserve even one star.

Miss the old app

BerkshireBank, looks wise, looks better than the old app. It is not all that user friendly. The biggest downside is the notifications. BerkshireBank no matter what you do does not send push notifications. I’ve tried several different ways of putting in “custom alerts”, and nothing works. Also, could you put back the quick access pin? Some of us don’t like the facial recognition on our phones.

Unnecessarily Complicated

BerkshireBank functions, however, the navigation is terrible and has removed all simplicity.
Example: to pay bills, instead of simply putting a button to pay bills, there is a note that you can click that tells you where you have to go to pay bills.

Many of the basic functions you want and make an app appealing are buried. It is actually easier to use the website, and that is not too easy either.

Improvement needed

The transactions do not appear for days. They used to be live transactions and visible the moment they happened. The feature that alerts you as a transaction is made, no longer happens instantly. They occur days later and only if you log into your account. I used to get notified every moment a transaction occurred on my phone regardless if I was picking up food or ordering online. That was important to me to prevent fraud. The feature to add coupons has also disappeared. The new app is not an improved app. It’s terrible!

Continuing to be America’s Most Inconvenient Bank

After 4 days of no online banking. Everything was very slow to load to verify my account on the new platform, which is probably a server issue on there end, whatever. Once I got it all set my initial impressions is they added some useless stuff to make their banking look fancier. All my ATM cash deposits are showing as negatives which I’m not sure if it’s because they are marked as pending? My available balance looks right but everything else doesn’t. I’ve been saying all weekend that this update is half scam so that they can charge people overdraft fees for while their online banking was down. Was hopeful for this updated online banking but I think that it might be time to finally switch everything to my Lee Bank accounts.

Worse than before

How does a bank/app get worse in this day and age?
Some deposits and debits don’t appear for a few hours or a day - even ACH deposits aren’t showing up in transactions - or the available balance - when they usually would.
Some debit transactions are deducted - and then an additional temporary hold is placed.
I will probably be switching to another bank.

Terrible

Many issues, have had to re-create my account several times, because states not a member, tech support (lol) tries to say I must never have had a online account, only I have for many years, transfer no longer go through promptly, and you can no longer print out to review your transactions to match your ledgers

Inaccurate

This bank has been the worst since buying up my local bank. Now with this new app I can’t even get an accurately reported available balance. Poor design or a ploy to get those overdraw fees?

Bill Pay NOT Intuitive

I use bill pay all the time. Unfortunately, the bill payment center on this new app is anything but intuitive. First, you have to search to find it on the home page (in fact it’s so not-intuitive that Berkshire Bank had the sense to add a “where can I find Bill2Pay” tooltip to help the user locate it). The Bill2Pay section itself is equally as unhelpful. While the bill “cards” you’re presented with might look pretty with the company’s logo alongside the name, the details within the card are missing a key piece of information - The user should be able to quickly see the date that they last paid a biller. Additionally, the previous bill payment center sorted the billers by last paid date vs alphabetical order. This was far more useful as it served as a guide for a user to know when bills were due, based on the paid date order. Understanding that some users may prefer an alphabetical sort of billers, your app should at least afford a user the opportunity to sort either by last paid OR alphabetical. Bottom line - I miss the old app. It’s a bummer that Berkshire Bank had to change it.

Like the old version better.

I got in easily with my user name and password. But, the platform looks very generic. I like the old layout better. Not sure how to set up “pending charge” alerts. I did see alerts for other things, but not that option. I will keep looking.

Recent transactions

I like the new interface of BerkshireBank , one thing that is really bothering me is seeing the recent transactions, I really wouldn’t care, but I’m on all my kids teen accounts and can see every transaction on the Home Screen, I tried searching for a way to remove that but couldn’t figure out how.

Push Notifications do not work

As the title says, push notifications do not work. The only time they will pop up is if you have BerkshireBank open already. It should be the other way around, having the push notifications go off when a transaction occurs and BerkshireBank is closed. I would love to see that fixed

Solid but with some constructive criticism

While my balances after a transaction are accurate, the charges themselves can be a little slow to appear. Also can’t get notifications whenever I make a transaction. Hoping both features get brought back sooner than later. Other than that, I do like BerkshireBank as well as banking here at this bank.

Not receiving notifications

BerkshireBank itself is fine, but you don’t receive notifications when a transaction happens until you log into BerkshireBank which if you are busy or something you won’t be able to see.

Easy, but annoying to download a whole new app

App seems very easy to work with as it’s pretty close to the previous app. I was fairly annoyed that the company didn’t really tell us “you have to download a new app” I thought it was just going to be an upgrade for the old one. Also, because it just came out it’s very difficult to verify via mobile and you should verify via their website first because it won’t send you a code otherwise. Again, BerkshireBank itself is very easy to use as I’ve already transferred money and it was pending just as a soon as I hit done.

App

I have been a Berkshire bank customer for many years. I love the bank, but hate the new app. In my opinion it has lost many of the functions the old app had. Hopefully this new app is a work in progress and will be improved.

Using the app to make a deposit.

This is extremely uncomfortable and whatever changes the bank has made to the process for depositing a check online is terrible compared to the way it used to be. I do not like it at all. I love the bank, but I hate the online deposit protocol.

Mobile deposit is great

I forgot to deposit a check when I was in town and was debating about driving back or waiting for another day, stressing about what bills might come in when. I remembered this could be done over the phone. I found the instructions which were easy and clear and I’m thrilled to not have to make an extra trip! Thank you, Berkshire Bank.

Much better

Really like how mobile app improved ! Depositing checks so much more easier ! As per transaction window, I wish we can sort by amounts, etc

Also, when trying to find transaction with certain name of it , it does not find any ; not sure what I am doing incorrectly

Thank you

Updated banking app’s terrific!

Having used the updated Berkshire Bank mobile banking app for a couple weeks, gotta say it’s a terrific upgrade and worth the hassle of conversion. The check deposit function especially now works smoothly and quickly, no rejected deposits, dollar deposit limits raised substantially!

New App

No problems with the new app. The transition has been flawless.

love the update

Much more organized. I love the budget section where I can organize all of my transactions exactly how I need them. BerkshireBank took some time to be verified properly but so far it’s the best thing they could have done

Definite improvement over old app

The new app looks much more intuitive and has a cleaner design, which is important to me in this day and age. Some of the features have changed and got moved around, but I’ve adapted fast and I’m definitely happy with the new check deposit experience and ability to easily switch profiles! Looking forward to seeing how Berkshire can continue to develop BerkshireBank.

App update

Wow, quite an upgrade. The rollout had a few steps but once I got through those the upgrade in the look and feel of this site was impressive. Thank you!

Easy App

BerkshireBank is super easy to navigate, not that their previous app was difficult. The change over was simple also. The bank gave plenty of time and notices about the new app…so it was super easy to download and use.

Better experience

Appreciate the better check deposit experience. Intuitive and quick experience

great initiative

excellent change. I really like the fact that I can transfer money to one of my friends from BerkshireBank without having to wait and it's free, great change.

Much better app

About time the bank upgraded their platform. Mobile and online banking is now very good. Really like the money movement things I can do. Plus the interface is nice and clean.

Loving the quick check deposits feature

Love how quickly I can deposit checks! My other banking app has it hidden within the account and Im always fumbling around looking for it. Having the button on the first page is great. Also digging the new financial insights tool too!

Slick design

BerkshireBank looks great and is easy to use. Homepage layout is clear, one quick glance and I see my balances and transactions, which is what I mainly need if checking on my phone. I also like the financial insights section. Actually would be great to have the insights on the homepage rather than in the More section, but not a big deal. Will keep using.

So easy!

Really like the new app. Everything I need is right there. No searching for features. Check deposit is much smoother than before.
