Microsoft 365 locks up my email with the pretense there was suspicious activity
Because my cell number that I used to originally set up this account isn’t available it diverted
Me to alternate solution one of which is to use Authenticator app the other is to put in personal information to to receive verification code to continue to a different email address.
I filled out all info several time and did not get anything from Microsoft. Point of information this was never a Microsoft 365 account. I was originally a hot mail account which over the years they hyjacked it

AuthenticatorApp wants you to pay over $74/year for what other apps with a similar name and purpose will do for free.

In my opinion, the Ad that appears in the AppStore is suspiciously close to the Microsoft Authenticator in color and design that can dupe users into downloading and enrolling in a service that they never intended to engage.

Do not want to buy this but Microsoft won’t let me get into my account without it

Despise Apple who does not allow you to easily DELETE an app just keeps it ‘hidden’. Hate that they to control every aspect of your phone. Hate it!!!

Despise this and all other apps invented by crooks with no original ideas and which try to imitate another app to sucker people to ‘buying’ it! But mainly because….

If the phone itself wasn’t FREE and my obedient droid finally dead and buried after many faithful years- with ceremony-

I’d toss the Apple ( after torturing it with great pleasure) into the fire and rejoice over its demise and never own another - free or otherwise. Can’t wait for the day! Die phone, die!!!

Product add placed at top of search to deceive people into thinking it’s what they searched for. Looks like Microsoft product but is not. Does not work. App Store should remove and offer refund

AuthenticatorApp provides me a number and my computer provides me a number , but neither will accept the number that the other provides. Very frustrating.

You people need to 1. Stop trying to make more money off your clients with this product. 2. You need to give better explanations and instructions so people can set AuthenticatorApp up. I ham very disappointed in you and will not use AuthenticatorApp.

And number 3. People want to speak to a person when they call. Get us a customer service department with real people who SPEAK REAL ENGLISH WHO LIVE IN AMERICA instead of Indians, South Americans, or Asians.

This is a scam for people wanting the Microsoft Authenticator but accidentally purchasing this. Unreal.

Why do I need an authenticator that sends me advertisements?

$40 per year? Really? For something that was free until my company “upgraded”? You have given me another reason to switch to Mac.

AuthenticatorApp is a fraudulent. It doesn’t work. There is no tech support. The only item in AuthenticatorApp that actually works is terms and services which says no refunds. It provides an email address which is invalid.

AuthenticatorApp is straight trash. Not user friendly at all.

You asked me to review before I’ve even used AuthenticatorApp . This is already staring out horrible.

Horrible … not user friendly. Have uploaded 4 times w o actual success.

Asks for $49 “lifetime” fee then once you pay continuously crashes. Icon purposely copied Microsoft

10/19 update
I finally got it to work on both my phone and iPad. I still haven’t figured out why the default option to verify would be AuthenticatorApp itself when it is AuthenticatorApp I am trying to set up. It doesn’t work. Someone needs to rethink the setup.

Anyway now I finally got it working. Thanks for the response.
