My Eyes Only Password Manager Reviews

I have been using this application for years and it has yet to fail me. It’s a solid app with a straight forward user interface. Notwithstanding these observations, the world of cyber security is growing more complex and there are now other password managers that are more robust than MEO, such as Dashlane and LastPass. Personally, I have opted for the former over the later, but both are pretty much at the cutting edge. This however does not imply that I have given up on MEO. I still have the application on all my desktop Macs as well as MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager on my iPhone and I use both quite regularly. Why do I continue to use MEO after adopting Dashlane? Because it’s user interface is more efficient. If I need automated sign-on or a strong password generator I will go to Dashlane, but if I just need to get to a password quickly, I can authenticate by finger print and I am there in a matter of seconds. This is where MEO earns it’s righteous place in the world of password management. Software Ops has found their niche in the complex world of password management and they’ve nailed it. For the convenience it offers, I am happy to pay for my subscription.

Is it the be all end all of password management? Probably not, but in my opinion it has found it’s niche...

I was fortunate enough to find MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager years ago. It is among my most treasured applications. I am a computer consultant and have access to many servers and web sites. Managing the various passwords would be a nightmare without My Eyes Only. I cannot recommend MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager too highly.
Another great use for MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager is the storage of financial data; credit cards, bank account info, routing numbers, etc.
When I order something online and need to enter credit card info it is infinitely easier to access the info via My Eyes Only rather than having to pull out my wallet... dig through to the card I need... try to read the numbers from a scuffed or faded card... put the card back in my wallet... put my wallet back in my pocket.
Try it... I promise you will be glad you did.

I have been using MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager for several years, on a daily basis, and all of a sudden, yesterday, it said my password was incorrect. I never changed my password, tried several
Times to access (thought maybe I was “fat fingering” the keys somehow), then MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager deleted all of my data because I tried the PW 5X. I have lost ALL of my passwords and critical information that I have saved and compiled in MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager for many years. Completely frustrated and lost without my data. They have a new version (this one), but it does now allow for the porting over of information from the old version to the new. I guess they just scrapped the old version and made a new one without any concern for people that had been using that older version successfully for years? Way to go guys. Now I will have to find a new password keeper (not this one), find (or more likely reset all of the passwords in my life/world) and manually put them into a better and more dependable app. Very disappointed and frustrated that the developer decided I had nothing better to do with my time then reinvent the wheel due to their greed and/or laziness. I got MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager a few years back and it has been always reliable easy to use and a great asset to storing my passwords.
I would rate MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager a 10 star if it was there because of how valuable it was for me and easy to use but unfortunately now I have to give it a zero star rating even a subzero because the company added some photo applications to it and they removed my entire password database I have nothing in there to fall back on.
I have asked them to reload my database to restore it and. they gave me some phony applications to try to restore my original database but my password and emails on it have been changed There is no way I can get into it to restore it and they don’t care about restoring it for me so now as far as I am concerned they are a unprofessional company that doesn’t care about the people that use Their product. all I asked him to do was restore my original database and they won’t do it. So put this company on your blacklist don’t waste your time I would hate to see anybody else put all the passwords in here in Lose It!

I’ve been using My Eyes Only for about five years now. It’s been super helpful with athletic memberships, insurance, computer passwords, and all the other information we need all the time. One password to rule them all. My wife and my adult sons use it as well.
The only drawback is if you don’t have the membership (which I don’t) , you cannot transfer information from phone to phone, or device to device. You have to re-enter things if you get a new phone. If you stick with the same phone for years, like I do, it’s not that big a deal.
I gave it five stars because if I didn’t have something secure, I will have to write everything down in a notebook which is sure to get lost. Do your own research but I read My Eyes Only is top of the line when it comes to encryption and security.

I really like your MY EYES ONLY (CLASSIC) app. I've had it for a few years and have had absolutely NO problems with it until just a day or two ago after updating my iPhone6s Plus to iOS 11. Now, I'm locked out of your app and probably would have completely freaked out if I hadn't found your support blog with the constant updated information concerning your desire to rectify this problem. So I just want to say, "thank you..." for your diligence in hurrying to make your customers feel secure and at ease. I'm sure it's been a nightmare for you all just as it has been for us. But as long as you are aware of the situation AND you are working untiringly to bring this matter to a positive conclusion, I am grateful. Be encouraged...

I've been using MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager for several years now. It's very easy to use and I feel very secure putting my information in it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to store valuable information and have it at your finger tips. We all know how important it is to have different passwords. And we all know how easy it is to forget which one we've used for what application!
MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager solves all those issues for you, keeping track of all of your information!! Not only does it allow for passwords, but other important information as well. Club numbers, social security numbers, drivers license, etc.
I'm very glad I've used MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager and will continue to do so!

It seamlessly syncs amongst the 3 in the background, updating your passwords to easily be accessible as needed.
It’s 100% secure.
I recently updated the iMac to Monterey and needed help from the developer/programmer of the version for the iMac. Help came incredibly fast OVER THIS WEEKEND from MEO, and that’s the solid reason for my rating of 5 Stars. If there was a way to rate it higher, I would. It’s been a long time to have a person give their time immediately upon request to help out.

I used to LOVE MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager. My husband and I use it for our personal use. And I pay for my employees to have MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager downloaded to their devices. That’s how much I love MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager. It used to be easy to use and very straightforward. Then recently they “updated” MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager and raised the price. Now, my devices don’t sink, customer service does not respond to emails AND I’m paying more. Sooooo unhappy with this new version? It’s not better, not more user friendly, very confusing, and is particularly not user friendly on an iPhone. I wouldn’t be so frustrated if IT/Cust Svc had responded to any one of the three emails that I sent to resolve this. Sooo unhappy. Limping along with the new version now…looking for a replacement app. Why MEO staff did you change a good thing??? Please consider fixing the bugs and definitely consider responding to your emails!

Been using Classic for a long time and was frustrated having to think about support ending and having to switch and possibly pay for Sync, however, the migration was easy and decided that I would pay the $20 annual fee. This is reasonable considering they are offer a solid platform IMO and don’t mind supporting their efforts. Guess it comes down to personal opinion and how valuable MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager is to you and what level of security you desire. My hope is they don’t take advantage of users in the future and continue to offer at a reasonable value.

Have successfully used MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager for years on a daily basis. I really appreciate having all my sensitive information backed up and easily accessible. After the most recent update though, it appeared that I lost my Syncryption subscription. Fortunately, after some discussion with the developer, I was able to restore my subscriptions. I would strongly suggest that a detailed email be sent out to existing customers in future, detailing any actions needed on their part, as part of an update. Also, any more price hikes would motivate me to look for a new app. Keep up the good work.

We This has totally put an end to all my guessing and trying to keep track of all my many accounts and passwords! Started off with an iPhone 4 and now it still works great on my iPad 3rd Gen & iPhone 11 Pro Max. I also upgraded to Pro as I needed more space. Great for the family, too, as all they need to know is my "Eyes" password and everything else is in it. Able to store acc't #'s and security questions. No issues yet. Highly recommended!

Ignore the complaints about moving from the older version to the new subscription service. Tech gets obsolete and products change - it’s called progress. I too am a very long time user of MEO classic. When I upgraded to iOS 11 I couldn’t access my info anymore (that’s how old a user I am). MEO instantly responded and worked to solve my problem so I could access my data even though it was my fault for ignoring the multiple call outs to update and upgrade MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager .

I have been a long-time user of My Eyes Only and it’s been a godsend I thousand times over. Not only do I keep my ever-growing list of passwords in it, but my children’s Social Security numbers, medical card numbers, credit card numbers, etc. I must refer to it and average of once a day. The people running MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager have been helpful when I’ve called. While the price is a little bit on the high end for maintenance level synchronization services, it’s worth it to me to have access to all of those important numbers should I lose my phone.

I have had MEO from the time it started no trouble and they have been outstanding at helping me get up and running when I messed things up. Their Customer Service is Outstanding !
Thank you for a Great Product that works as stated and has only improved over the years! I just wanted to add it’s been at least 4 years that I wrote the above and if all my Apps and programs worked this well it would be great ! MEO has never let me down only got better!

I was fortunate to discover MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager at a time when passwords seemed to explode from everywhere. Every time you opened an email or an app or went to your bank or your insurance carrier or your car dealership, everyone wanted you to open an account or log in and you needed a password. MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager has saved me many times. I can access it and it will remind me of the log-in and password for everything. Yea, I no longer have to remember them all!

I’ve had MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager since it’s inception years back. When MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager went belly up a few years back I kept it on my phone anyway because I loved the ease of use. I was glad to see that they had brought it back from the dead and received all the functions. Now, a few years later I suddenly get a message stating that my try before I buy has reached its limit and must purchase the full version of MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager . What are you talking about? I already purchased the full version years back? Why do I now have to pay all over again?

I use the google and apple save passwords too but they are glitchy, difficult to change and lack the simplicity of eyes only. I also like that you can store notes and info with passwords. I probably have well over a hundred entries.
It’s cross device sync is great. I just wish MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager worked in my apple computer. Otherwise it is great on my iPhone and iPad.

Like many apps on the market… they start out great… but eventually they start to go bad. First MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager was easy to read and use… now it looks cheap and generic… secondly it stopped syncing between my two devices…

If I want things to match from one device to another… I have to manually input the info or change. Yes… my subscription is active… and I have until September 2022 before it expires. But no syncing is being accomplished as it once did when I first purchased the subscription.

I am already looking for something better and more reliable. I my eyes are filled with tears!

I have used MEO for years and also pay annually for the Sync service. It is very handy to have all our devices synchronized within our family - iPads, iPhones, etc. for my wife and myself. This makes password management a breeze and also multiple devices carry the updated information for when you travel (or lose one of the devices).

I have been a long time MEO user and absolutely love the functionality of MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager. I could never convince my wife of why I liked it so much until I subscribed to the syncing function. Now having all our passwords available across all of our devices has made MEO indispensable. It is so easy to use and I have complete confidence in the security of MyEyesOnlyPasswordManager . Definitely worth the inexpensive annual fee.
