I got a promotion in my email today from CHIP telling me I could download the app and get a discount on my order so I did. I placed a delivery order for this afternoon. I got a text from a DoorDash worker about 45 minutes after my selected delivery time asking where I wanted to meet (Preferably my house… the address I entered? Also I didn’t order through DoorDash). I asked if the box could just be dropped at my door. They said no, that I would have to sign for it. I’ve literally never experienced that before unless it’s expensive electronics. And there was no indication of that requirement before I made the order or I wouldn’t have. So the driver returned my order to the store. When I called about a refund, I was on the line with one employee and then randomly switched to another after a few minutes with no context. I was given a refund but as far as the app goes I won’t be using it again :) I’m bummed about it. Anyway, that’s why I’m giving one star!

Their last app wasn’t great so I was excited to try this out. Surprised they shipped this as an improvement.
