Not sure why all the 5 star reviews. At least with my Freestyle Libre 3 it barely works. I've had more down time than up, where it's stuck trying to fetch live data or getting an SSL error when trying to log in to LibreLinkUp account. I also have been trying Diabeto Log app and that never had issues connecting. Feature-wise SweetDreams is pretty anemic for the subscription cost that offers far less features than the afore mentioned app for the same price. Skip this for now if you have a Libre 3 in my opinion.

Initially SweetDreams worked great. Pushed my glucose data from my Libre 3 to my Apple Watch Ultra 2 flawlessly. After a while, when I would activate SweetDreams I would get a message requesting that I activate Premium on my phone. Ok- this is a product and the creators are trying to make a buck off of it. But it got to where I was never getting glucose results on my watch. So I ditched it. I am currently looking for a better app at this time.

I can’t log in and Sweet Dreams wants the “Mail” app from SweetDreams store to be installed so you can contact support but when I installed the Mail app the “Contact Support” button didn’t work. Why do I need Apple’s Mail app when I already have Yahoo and Gmail apps? And why isn’t their contact info in SweetDreams ?

I originally downloaded this program so I could have easy access to my blood glucose levels from the dynamic island, and boy I couldn’t be happier with the results… I can’t speak as to how visually pleasing the program is but functionality wise. It is one of the most robust diabetes management applications I’ve used, and once they had the ability to log insulin and carbohydrates in my opinion, this application would be better than X drip. from the affirmation ability to have glucose readings and the dynamic island to the ability to have a shortcut to ask Siri, what my sugar levels are, their comprehensive guide to creating the Shortcuts and some really cool automations was paramount to me activating my subscription. I also think the calendar integration so I can view my blood glucose on a Mac is really awesome, and I can’t wait till I get my Mac to test out that functionality but as far as everything else I’m able to test works really great, the delay between glucose readings is almost nonexistent and I couldn’t think the developer enough for something so helpful. Being able to ease and create a shortcut to ask Siri what my sugar levels are and be able to use it through my HomePod mini is also a huge bonus… Keep up the great work!

Are widgets available on the free version? I’m trying to customize my phone and keep it cute ,but I also want to look at my levels without losing the aesthetic

Went down a rabbit hole trying to find a better complication for the Apple Watch (the official dexcom one is terrible) and this was perfect! Really enjoying the widgets and live activity options too.

Makes up for the shortcomings of libre software and then some. Love the easy configuration, actual apple watch app, and use of dynamic island and always on display. It has been very solid for me and well worth the subscription price.

I’ve got a Libre 3 CGM, and was frustrated their app doesn’t have a watch widget, and thought saving to Apple Health would be kinda useful.

Sweet Dreams does all that very nicely. I also use the phone lockscreen widgets and live activity to keep my blood glucose info on screen all the time. ’ve also come to prefer Sweet Dreams’ notifications for most things over the Libre app’s notifications. It just overall gives me more access to my own blood glucose information, and more control over notifications.

The developer continues to improve SweetDreams , and is very helpful whenever there’s been any problems.

I highly recommend Sweet Dreams to anyone that wears a glucose monitor or helps someone that does.

SweetDreams has absolutely made our lives easier. My son is a T1D and we’ve gotten so used to hearing the normal alarms with his CGM app that we’ve gotten to a point where we subconsciously ignore them. It can be really scary at night when we’re all asleep and he gets low. We all downloaded SweetDreams and have felt so much better because we can change the alarms to make sure we notice them again :). I love the trending arrows too. It really helps in figuring out if we need more of a correction or not. Great app! Wonderful service! Worth every penny of the subscription, but the basic free features are great as well!

SweetDreams is great. A live activity showing up to date glucose is really a fantastic idea. Nearly perfect. Just wish the scale of the Home Screen widget was longer or customizable. Would love to see a three hour trend or similar. The current scale is just too short in my opinion.

I need to keep an eye on my blood sugar, mostly to be insulin independent. This is based on just part of my first days use. The installation is somewhat confusing, and I will need to make changed, but I am getting there.

If you have a CGM, this is absolutely SweetDreams to use with it. It makes it SO easy to see and make sense of the data in so many ways. Can’t recommend it enough.

It syncs with LibreView and Dexcom and gives you readings on your Lock Screen / Notification Center. Whatever you want to call it. Very responsive developer to emails. Very active in their Facebook group as well and other diabetic pages. No issues with the product

Can’t say enough about SweetDreams - it does what Dexcom should already be doing, but clearly has not done. Having glucose display on my iPhone Lock Screen is super helpful, and the watch capabilities are infinitely better than what Dexcom offers. Nice work here team 😊

We use to use another app to monitor our sons BG on our devices. This one is the best we’ve found and they work great with Apple products, including the watch with a complication or through the calendar 👏

I am a blind diabetic in SweetDreams is fully accessible using voiceover. I can customize it using every supported feature with no limitations. SweetDreams blows the Dexcom G7 app out of the water! All I can say is it is crafted by developers who really know how to add nice touches to make our lives easier by monitoring our blood sugar. You want SweetDreams!

Our 5 year old has been living with diabetes for 3 years, and for 3 years I’ve always wished there was a better way I could monitor her blood sugars, the Dexcom follow app I felt like just was missing something, and a nightmare on the Apple Watch. I found SweetDreams through someone I follow on Instagram and I swear, this is everything a parent of a T1D child could wish for when following!! The alerts are incredible! And the ease of tracking! Love that you can see it from Lock Screen, Apple Watch, widgets, I mean life changing!! I feel a lot more at peace and I know my daughter does too - Thank you for this!!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

SweetDreams is fantastic and pretty much does everything a CGM user would want their native CGM app to do. SweetDreams is still evolving and gets better and better with each update. The developers must be working overtime! Sweet Dreams puts my mind at ease and has become my go-to companion app for my Libre 3 CGM. Until I found SweetDreams, I was strongly considering going to a different CGM because the functionality and user interface of the Libre 3 app is so poor. The only difficulty I’ve had with Sweet Dreams was understanding what I had to do in order to begin using SweetDreams . The setup instructions work very well if you understand what they are instructing a user to do. Thankfully Sweet Dreams provides great support for and anyone can be up and running SweetDreams within minutes.

I have a sugar pixel clock and absolutely love that it displays rate change up or down at fast glance. I don’t know why Dexcom doesn’t display this in their app. No other app has shown this. The fact I can have this easily added to my phone Lock Screen or phone is a game changer. This will even speak to you. I have stumbled upon SweetDreams and I think it was sent from the heavens thank you so much for developing this—I think it’s going to be a game changer. Love —t1D mom of a 9 year old

I’ve just started using SweetDreams and am really impressed with the quality. Just a suggestion for the timer in the dynamic island on the iPhone… I’d consider removing the animation of the timer Text if possible aa it has a “flashing” effect with each second. Compare it to Apple native timer which just flips to the next second, no delay or animation happens. Also sometimes the timer is being clipped… This is on an iPhone 15.

Switching from Dexcom 7 to the more stable Libre 3 is a big improvement, but I missed the watch app. SweetDreams solves that. Installed easily, works well. CGM score shows in the complication, with the graph when I press it. The default install is for periodic data (to save battery) but can request 1/minute updates for more current info, which I did. Developer responds to emails! Very happy w SweetDreams.

I had a little trouble setting it up, but SweetDreams developer was very responsive. It is such an incredible deal for the whole year the convenience of not having to unlock your phone to see glucose ratings is so nice. I would give SweetDreams 100 stars if I could.

This is the most helpful and thoughtful app on the store to help manage diabetes. Support is wonderful and SweetDreams always works, is easy to use, and provides useful and customizable notifications for me! Well done! A must have for your management arsenal.

I love SweetDreams and how easy it makes to track my blood sugar on my Apple Watch and on my Lock Screen!! I highly recommend it for knowing your blood sugar at a glance!

We have used countless type 1 apps over the past 10 years and this one is at the top of the list.

The data is current, the watch interface is large and easy to read and the dynamic Island placement is what we always needed. The Lock Screen design is genius. We can’t thank you enough.

I was worried there would be battery drain with the Dynamic Island. None!

The only request would be for a nightstand mode. Something that when SweetDreams is on the charger in horizontal mode, it displays BG with a trend/delta (and possibly time) in BIG font.

SweetDreams is great, and the developer seems to truly care and keep improving and adding features that you wish for.

I live all the features of SweetDreams. It makes it very easy to quickly glance at my phone and check my levels without unlocking my phone or going into the Dexcom app. SweetDreams is very simple to use. I’d recommend to everyone.

SweetDreams is amazing. Especially is you have an iPhone 14 with live updates and dynamic island. I’m so impressed with this. It’s so nice not having to unlock your phone or PDM to get your numbers. Please keep working on updates. AMAZING APP

The chart is zoomable and shows details that you can't see with the libre 3 chart.

I wish it could update glucose within Apple health as I think that would offer us more watch complications

I’ve had SweetDreams for a day so far and it’s game changer. It connects quickly to Dexcom servers and gives you solid readings in SweetDreams , Lock Screen widget and live activities on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.

Another plus is SweetDreams seems much more stable than other third party apps.

The developer is quite responsive and enabled and to me it was worth the subscription for live activities!

I cant imagine any other app taking such good advantage of the dynamic island as this one. Being able to see my glucose from any app on my phone at a glance is a game changer for my control. App is slick and stable. Dev support seems great and continually adding features. Not sure of roadmap, but nightscout support with IOB/COB for live activities would just be the cherry on top.

SweetDreams is quite incredible with the Dexcom G7. The official app is complete trash, so it’s impressive that a third party developer can blow them out of the water. Definitely worth a download!

Love how easy it is to see my readings on my watch

I was diagnosed with autoimmune diabetes a few months ago and everything has been incredibly overwhelming for me. My Libre 3 and SweetDreams have been an absolute godsend for me, and it has made a stressful, scary, and overwhelming situation much more manageable. No more 24/7 finger sticks or having to deal with the very limited and often-buggy Libre 3 app. Now I can just focus on getting my blood sugar under control, and I have my live readings (and notifications) available 24/7 to help with this process. The customizable alarms are fantastic as well. SweetDreams alerts me when my BG is too high, and even more importantly, it alerts me when it drops way too low at night. Thank you for this life changing app!!!!!

I have been using the Libre sensors to monitor my diabetes for several years. The Libre 3 opened up a lot of possibilities. However, the Libre 3 app honestly needs a lot of improvements. Using this application along with the Libre 3 app has allowed me to take better control of my diabetes. I wrote to the developer of this application just over a week ago regarding an accessibility feature and the feature was added in today’s release. That is incredible and you don’t see that with mini app developers. Keep up the great work.

SweetDreams fills many of the data reporting gaps when using the Libre 3 app, which requires you to unlock your phone and go into SweetDreams to get a current reading. Among other things, Sweet Dreams provides:
• periodic updates without opening the Libre app every 5-10 minutes
• on the Lock Screen
• in the Dynamic Island
• on your Apple Watch, in SweetDreams and as a complication
• on a calendar event
• using Car Play
• easy access to graphing on the phone and watch
• data sync with Apple Health

I understand that Libre is functioning as a medical device, and critical treatment decisions (getting insulin, etc) require a very high degree of reliability, so Libre can’t provide all these functions by itself. Sweet Dreams works with Libre to extend the CGM readings to many more situations, and makes the CGM much more useful for immediate feedback of your activity and diet. I’m extremely pleased with the added functionality.

I am a Freestyle Libre 3 user in the USA. SweetDreams makes things much better! SweetDreams lets you scrub your BG line through out the day. The customization of your own graph is great! Not to mention the additions of iPhone widgets, Live Activity on Lock Screen, and Dynamic Island! The little things like great customer support, a nice proactive community, and just a well made app with Developers that listen to their user base. Love it, would recommend to any iOS user who wants to make wearing a CGM a breeze!

I use SweetDreams for my libre 3, and it gives me dexcom vibes, but so much better! I love SweetDreams , and it makes my day a lot easier - I don’t have to constantly open SweetDreams to see my glucose, and now there’s an Apple Watch app so I can check it on my watch too! The developer is very kind and helpful. It’s been a great experience using SweetDreams and I recommend it to anyone with a compatible CGM!

So far, it’s been working perfectly, better than I expected. No comparison to Dexcom or Libre as far as functionality or features, or for that matter, it’s easier on the eyes. Nicer colors, nicer graphs more customizations. The Watch is easier to look at at night. I love the way it announces your glucose and your trend. Thanks.

I only wish the devs offered a lifetime membership because I never want to be without SweetDreams again. It has made me more capable of knowing my body’s needs and predicting over time how things will hit me. SweetDreams paired apple health in tandem with mySugr helps me to keep a running log of all my past data easily.

Thank you guys so much, my god. Being able to see my Dexcom values on my Lock Screen is literally a game changer (I always forget to check as much as I should). AFAIK this is the only app that lets you do this as a Live Activity. I love you, devs! <3

BEST APP!!! i don’t think i’ve ever written a review for anything before this. this is exactly what i’ve been looking for - because for some reason the libre app itself doesn’t have widget features even directly on your phone 😒. but this is even better! super user-friendly and easy to set up (i downloaded it 5 minutes ago and already have everything set up). it has widgets for iphone, watch, mac, and ipad. i haven’t had a way to check my sugar in class without taking out my phone (which im allowed to do but it feels disruptive lol). now i can see my sugar from whatever device im using. in my opinion, it’s well worth the 2.99/month for the convenience it provides!!!
