When a spider name is populated, click through to more descriptions and 10 of my 10 try's, the results were never more that 18% accurate according to SpiderIdentifierBugFinder .
Most of the time their results said only 10% accurate. That means there's only a 10% chance they got it right and 90% chance SpiderIdentifierBugFinder identified the wrong type of spider. I wish I could get a refund even for the $3 spent to try it out
When you tried to take a picture of the bug it would take the picture but it wouldn’t even identify it, and you have to have a member ship to use SpiderIdentifierBugFinder so it cost money and it never said anything about a membership, so i can’t even use SpiderIdentifierBugFinder but picture insect is an amazing app and it identifies the bug for you, and actually works so go get picture insect for free!
Improperly identified one spider and it locked everything behind a pay wall. Just another greedy useless app
I entered a picture for analysis. It went directly to an ad to buy the premium version while playing annoying music
After using it a couple of times you have to either pay weekly or for a year. Also it doesn’t identify bugs correctly half the time. Useless.
Doesn't work half the time, and when it does identify the bug, there's no links or information about it just the name of it. Not a very practical app especially when I have to type in a long species name into a Google search instead of being able to just tap on it and have it take me directly to a information page. The Wikipedia link doesn't work either.
So far 2 for 2, identified through photo.👍🏻
I guess I shouldn't complain, SpiderIdentifierBugFinder says it is a spider identifier, but I wish it would offer a little bit about the spider, I.e., is it poisonous, aggressive, etc.
The photo /use of gallery function is a bit backwards and not as easy as other apps. It has been pretty helpful and accurate with good photos applied.
Recently moved from the SoCal to Georgia. Unfamiliar with the bugs and spiders here. This is an easy to use resource and I almost always get info. I am curious person. This resource is very helpful.
It only provides id by scientific name and links to Wikipedia which also provides no description. I was hoping for descriptions of how and where it lives and whether or not it’s venomous.
