Phenomenal

I’ve been following Ashley on Instagram for probably 2 years and have been doing her programs for about 18 months. Shortly after starting the Core Basics program though, I suffered a massive herniated disc (COMPLETELY unrelated. I had dealt with nagging back problems for years and my third pregnancy had pushed things over the edge). After surgery and lots of PT, I told my physical therapist that I was considering going back to Ashley’s program. She immediately gave me two big thumbs up and said that it was a great choice. She was right!! This program is so well-researched, so perfectly structured. I love knowing that as long as I listen to my body and follow Ashley’s cues, I am in safe hands. I am so much stronger than I was even before my third pregnancy and I know I will continue to make gains. I helped my dad move furniture recently and he was shocked at how easily I moved things. Not just for young moms!

I’m a 67-yr-old grandma and have been doing this program for over a year. I love the program and GetMomStrong ! My balance has improved tremendously. I have muscle definition in my arms and back that I haven’t had in a long time. As I’ve gotten older I find that I’m more easily injured. So it’s crucial for me to be able to do what I want without injury, and this program helps me do that. I’ve learned a lot about how women’s bodies are changed through pregnancy and childbirth. Even though it’s been over 30 years since I had my first baby, the information has been invaluable.

GetMomStrong has a lot of great features. There is a ton of education on proper core engagement and how to make small adjustments so the whole body is working better. I really like to ability to keep track of my weights and reps for each circuit. The calendar feature shows me when I worked out and which routine I did that day. There’s a lot of other good stuff as well, such as nutrition info and recipes.

This is a fabulous program and GetMomStrong makes it easy and convenient!

Best Program EVER!

I’ve been doing SLAM for about 18 months. I started with Core Basics, then Bridge, then SLAM, and now I’m doing SLAM30 because I don’t have much time in this season of life. I’ve tried other programs, both free and paid, but this is the only one that has prevented and relieved my low back pain! I’ve had back problems since I was 16, and after having children I began to have major, debilitating flare ups 3-6x each year. I got so desperate I went to a neurosurgeon, but when I found out I’m not a candidate for surgery I was devastated. Enter SLAM. Since starting this program I have had ZERO major flare ups, and the two minor flare ups I have had were resolved with 24 hours rest (as opposed to 7-14 days in the past). For someone with chronic back pain, this is practically a miracle! SLAM specifically targets the core, pelvic floor, and all of the muscles that stabilize the hips and back. It’s what every postpartum mother needs!

The Best

I started SLAM exactly 2 years ago now in August 2020. I had restarted another postpartum workout program I’d finished earlier that year and wasn’t loving doing it a second time. Another mom recommended SLAM and the rest is history. I love this program so much I’m on my third run through and plan to continue, well, forever! I’m stronger than I’ve ever been and than I ever thought I could be. Ashley is so knowledgeable and does the best job guiding moms through all stages of our changing bodies so we can be strong AND safe. I just love how human she is too. She’s not just a coach barking orders at you, she’s a guide and becomes more like a friend along the way (despite the fact that we’ve never met in person and I often yell at her when the intensity ramps up. Lol.) I love this program, and this community, and it’s amazing to see how far it’s come! Congrats on GetMomStrong launch!

Helped me fall in love with exercising

This program has not only helped me fall in love with exercising but also shifted my mindset about my body, nutrition, and exercising. I now longer find things I dislike about my body, but have started to appreciate my body and all the things that it has done and continues to do. I no longer try to restrict myself when it comes to food or am trying to lose weight. Actually I have no idea how much I weigh and haven’t weighed myself in over a year. I am not a cardio person and so finding at home workout programs that I enjoyed and didn’t dread doing was hard. Then I found SLAM and realized I LOVE lifting weights and feeling strong. This is more than a workout program it has truly changed my life and helped my mental health tremendously and helps me be a better mom, and realize I am strong like a mother!

This program saved my back

I’ve been doing this program for over a year now (my kids are 3 and 6). I started with the bridge program, and then decided to do bridge again but with higher weights and fewer rest days. Now I’m about 25% through slam30. Before this program I was constantly throwing out my back because I never knew how to utilize (and strengthen) my core properly, particularly after having kids. Since starting this program I haven’t thrown out my back once. I’m stronger, leaner (that part is still a work in progress) and just feel better overall. GetMomStrong is amazing, but I also know that if there are any issues that arise, Ashley and her team are very open to feedback and will fix any bugs asap!

Best decision ever!

I bought a SLAM subscription at the start of pregnancy #2. I knew I wanted to stay active and continue to strength train during the pregnancy, but I had no clue where to begin. This program hit the mark. More than just workouts, Ashley provides education, nutrition, and an entire community full of people looking to be strong and healthy. I followed SLAM pregnancy through 41 weeks and had a quick delivery and an excellent, quick recovery. Beyond pregnancy, SLAM supports the 4th trimester and provides a bridge to whatever your fitness and health goals may be. GetMomStrong is awesome, easy to use, and it’s obvious Ashley has thought of every detail. The BEST programs

I have been doing Ashley’s workouts for about two years, and they are the best I’ve ever done. You can’t beat the quality and variety - I am never bored, and there is something for everyone, regardless of fitness level, so I stay challenged as I get stronger.

I previously used my laptop to follow along, so I was skeptical of liking the small phone screen, but with all the functionality built into GetMomStrong , I didn’t even notice. I love that the cues/instructions play at the start of each interval - super super helpful when you are working out with lots of distractions like I often am! I haven’t checked out the other features yet, but the workouts alone are well worth the program cost.

Truly, a game-changing program

I’ve been doing the Get Mom Strong programs for about two years using the website, and it has truly changed my life. (Stronger than ever, healed post-partum body stuff, and helped refocus my mindset on health.) Then I got the chance to test out GetMomStrong while in development and WOW. It elevates the workout experience x100. The quality of the workout/instruction were already exceptional; GetMomStrong experience makes it even better. The attention to detail is exquisite and Ashley, the founder of the program, is so supportive. By far the best workout program!!

I’ve been a member of this program for 3 years now and had a few babies along the way. It’s the only program that I can use during whatever phase my body is in (post partum, pregnant, not pregnant, tired 😜). I’m EXTREMELY inconsistent, but even so I have found my subscription SO worth it just for whatever amount of a workout I can get in. Each workout is challenging but doable so I don’t quit, and I can do it confidently knowing it’s safe and healing for my pelvic floor, core etc, while also making my whole body STRONG like a mother. Plus the community is amazing ❤️❤️ like I said- by far the best workout program ever!

Amazing!

SLAM just got even more awesome! GetMomStrong is exactly what I needed. My music doesn’t pause when I watch the move tutorials. It’s easy to navigate. I love that I get a gif video of the move plus some extra audio cues as reminders of what I’m supposed to be doing. The notes section to track weights/reps/rounds so next time I can push myself harder is wonderful. The new cooldowns at the end are a great addition too.

Ashley and team you are all fantastic and I’m so grateful I found this program. SLAM has completely changed how I approach exercise and how I feel about my post baby body. Can’t thank Ashley enough for all she’s done.

Best program ever!

I’ve been doing SLAM on and off (curse my inconsistent nature) for about 2 years now and even with my inconsistency it’s the first strength training I’ve ever enjoyed or done with any regularity. I even got my inconsistent self to be consistent with it for the most part during this last year dispute being pregnant and moving and having a baby. My birth was so much easier than my other 2 and my postpartum recovery went so much better too! I feel stronger than most my life and love it!!! This program is amazing and I absolutely love Ashley for everything her training has done for me!

Great workouts

I’ve been doing 45 SLAM for 6 months. The program is “3 days on, 1 day off” technically but I just use it to do the next programs workout whenever I get a day to workout so it’s taken me a bit longer to get through the program but I love it!! It’s so nice to not think about what to workout and just do whatever it says knowing it keeps my muscle groups and core well rounded.

GetMomStrong make it very easy to follow the circuits and shows clips of each exercise. Built in timers for rest and any timed exercises, overall a great workout experience

Best mom workout program!

I felt so wrecked physically after my first child that I had given up hope of ever feeling good in my body again. Then I stumbled across this program and decided to give it a try out of desperation. This app is life changing

I’ve always been active, but during my third pregnancy in 5 years my boot camp/hiit class was really hurting. I had some leaking issues (which pelvic floor pt helped me correct) after my second baby. During the third pregnancy and postpartum I knew I had to prioritize my pelvic floor. Ashley does just that with EVERY move. I’ve been following Ashley’s program for 1 year and can’t get enough. I’ve been waiting for GetMomStrong!!! I’ve been following Ashley on Instagram and signed up for her program to help with body changes after having babies (you know, having to cross your legs when you sneeze, or cough, or laugh too hard 😳, all the things.) and her techniques are different from just “do keegles” but she teaches you how to breathe and actually exercize your pelvic floor muscle to stop unwanted things from happening!! So So Good!!

I’ve been using the SLAM program for over two years and it is amazing! I’ve healed my prolapse symptoms and strengthened my core so much! Ashley is a fantastic trainer and GetMomStrong just made SLAM so much easier to do. I can tell how much work has gone into GetMomStrong and it is so so good! The timer set up for interval training alone is life changing AND it doesn’t pause my music anymore. GetMomStrong is new but the function and layout is sleek!!! Usually new to GetMomStrong Store apps are basic and clunky. Not this one, it’s smooth like butter. Some of the many wonderful features are:

Simply the Best

I have been following Ashley for years. She had helped me restore and gain strength three years after having HUGE twin boys in 2019. When I felt lost from no pelvic floor information from doctors I found her and I’m so glad I did. I had baby number 3 last year and I finally picked back up doing SLAM work again. I complete SLAM30 (after core basics of course) and I feel stronger than I’ve ever been. I still have a long way to go but I’m so glad to be headed in the right direction with all the SLAM programs to guide me!

Took an awesome workout program and made it better!

GetMomStrong is exactly what I’ve been hoping it would be! Best workouts for moms!

I’ve NEVER been a workout from home person and, after finding SLAM, I will NEVER go back to the gym. I was an athlete before I became a mom, and then I totally lost my way with fitness after having kids. Everything was different and unfamiliar with my body, and there was no guidance, not even from my doctor. I found SLAM via Instagram and her workouts just resonated with me. I started subscribing and used the website on my phone or laptop. I saw and felt results faster than anything I’ve ever done. I didn’t even know I had diastasis recti until starting this program, and the workouts helped so much.
I love that Ashley is so pro-mom and so authentic. She doesn’t make this look glamorous, she’s REAL about mom life and her boys’ and dog’s appearances in the workouts make all of it so much more relatable for me. I know I’m not the only one grabbing a snack for someone in the middle of my workout!

First workout app/program I have ever stuck with - cannot recommend enough

I got GetMomStrong partway through my first pregnancy after failing to find appropriate workouts that were 1) motivating 2) had custom plans for my stage of pregnancy and 3) well-designed. GetMomStrong and the workout subscription are worth their weight in gold!! The community is supportive and informative, the workouts are killer but always presented with modifications and there is an entire program just for pregnancy which is So rare to find. There is a calendar to track your workout gains, record notes, take progress photos, but all with an emphasis always on non-scale victories and being functionally strong. My back and core pain is almost nonexistent even now in the third trimester and I know it is thanks to these workouts - because if I skip a few days and I can feel it. I can’t wait to try the rest of the workouts postpartum and on. Ashley and her team go above and beyond every other company I have tried out and I am not looking back.

Love this app!

I’ve been doing the SLAM program since before GetMomStrong came out and I love, loved it on the website. Now I love even more the accessibility and all the little things GetMomStrong provides that make navigating everything easier! My music never has issues while working out, I’ve had problems with some apps doing that before. I love the videos during the workouts and seeing her do this in real life with her kids and their sweet dog joining her at times! The workouts have almost completely healed my incontinence after having my kids! She shows you the ins and outs of using and healing your core and pelvic floor after having kids and how to safely workout while protecting them! But it’s a great workout for anyone, not just moms. I feel so strong after I do them. All at an incredible low cost. Ashley is incredibly educated and her and her team did an amazing job on GetMomStrong. Love Get Mom Strong!

This program is amazing and every woman (mom or not) can benefit from it. I love that it has multiple stages all in one place. I’ve used the pregnancy workouts while pregnant, the Bridge program while postpartum, and regular SLAM once my body felt ready. And one day I’ll be ready for Advanced! Most of all, I love that all of the workouts are supportive of the core and pelvic floor. Most programs or workout centers don’t do this well, but Get Mom Strong knocks it out of the park. The only reason for 4 stars is because sometimes her children are in the background in just their underwear. I love that Ashley is a mom and I want to support her in that! Clothed children in the background are always a welcome blessing. However, this is uncomfortable at times. That said, I’ll continue to subscribe because it is absolutely worth the money! (Note: updated because the owner/creator was upset with the feedback. This is not a comment on Ashley’s parenting in any way. It’s a comment on the professionalism of the program and what is (or isn't) appropriate for a paid workout program.)

I am a family nurse practitioner, child birth educator, and mom of 4 lovely girls… my last baby was born almost 3 years ago and prior to that I had been strength training/ powerlifting consistently and experiencing so much incontinence… the last baby was born weighing almost 11 # and I figured I was gonna be forever incontinent… found SLAM and have been enjoying it ever since! The program is amazing and helps women find their deep core and pelvic floor so well!! I have continued to lift and have almost no incontinence symptoms and feel so much better able to engage my core. The program has always been great but GetMomStrong is an amazing upgrade!! Best Workout Program Ever!

I started GMS long before GetMomStrong . I was 11 months postpartum and she taught me to heal my core and get my strength back with realistic workouts I can do at home with my kids!!! I got pregnant with #2 shortly after her pregnancy program came out and followed it until my due date and OMG what a difference it made in my strength and less DR post birth! I recommend this program to every woman I know, kids or no kids. It has given me the best glutes I’ve ever had even pre kids, I got back to no stomach doming pull ups after first kiddo, still working back up after the second. I can use my baby as my weight and continue my workout when they’re screaming.

I was diagnosed with a bladder prolapse after delivering my second child. I’ve always been an active person, and this diagnosis was devastating to me. I felt like I’d never be able to exercise again. At 5 months PP, I was struggling mentally and physically, the weakest I’d ever been. I found Ashley’s program, and it honestly changed my life. I’ve been slowly working my way through her programs for 8 months now, and I don’t think I’ll ever find a workout I like better. Her workouts are thoughtfully designed and challenging. And her whole approach to fitness is such a breath of fresh air—she talks about being and feeling strong, instead of “getting a bikini bod” or “getting pre-baby body back.” And thanks to SLAM, I AM strong again. Best App/Fitness Program for Moms!

I LOVE GetMomStrong and the workouts are the best! I have been searching for so long for a program tailored to moms that can be completed at home. Ashley and her SLAM program have exceeded my expectations! I am a physical therapist assistant and know how important core/pelvic floor health is for proper healing after having kids and general health. Pelvic floor health is not my area of expertise in physical therapy (I work with neuro diagnoses) and Ashley does a great job explaining things and has courses for any fitness level. Her workouts are tailored towards busy moms and you will often see her kids and dog in the background while she is working out. I LOVE this about her! Makes her seem real and just like the rest of us - a mom first! I recommend GetMomStrong/program for any mom or woman looking to improve their health as well as strengthen their deep core/pelvic floor!

Love it!

I’m a mom of two (both c sections) and am 7 years postpartum now which at first made me think this wasn’t for me as I’m not a “newer” mom, but it SO is! Honestly, this is a great program for anyone. My husband even does the workouts with me! It’s been so helpful for not just my physical well being but mental and emotional as well. I really appreciated the start of the program being all about relearning how to properly breath and move the body (especially after growing humans). I’ve loved how motivating and encouraging Ashley is while also respecting everyone’s individual abilities depending on where we are at. Can’t Recommend Enough!

After having my third baby in 4 years, I had a diagnosed prolapse and diastasis recti. Ashley’s programs have helped me recover and I’m feeling so strong and even have less lower back pain and stiffness. I love the workouts so much and I even find myself a little disappointed on rest days because I miss it. She makes it so easy to know what to do each day, and I love how she explains what muscles we are working on and how we use those in real life. I also love that her programs are about being healthy and strong- not looking a certain way or losing weight. It’s so great to see her dog and kids appear in many of the videos- it’s real life and I so often have a pet or kid with me so it helps me remember that even in my chaos I can make time to do this for myself!

Best workout app out there

SLAM is amazing. GetMomStrong itself is really good and easy to use and Ashley and team are constantly making it better. The workout programs are PHENOMENAL. I think anyone would benefit from doing them. They helped me recover from my first birth and get my core stronger than it had EVER been, and I’ve run many marathons and done an Ironman. I love the way the programs are written and that you never do the same workout twice. And I love the mix of styles of sets- some are timed intervals, some are AMRAPs, some you do with Ashley via video. It’s such a good mix so you never get bored and you’re ALWAYS getting stronger. Best workout program I’ve ever used!

Best workout program I’ve ever used! SLAM challenges you, but also helps those of us with challenging postpartum recovery be able to workout in the capacity you can. My pelvic floor physical therapist recommended this program. Since using SLAM, I’ve been able to recover from SPD, get back to running long distances, and lift more weight during strength training.

The pregnancy program has helped me be able to maintain my strength so I can carry my two toddlers even at 19 weeks pregnant. I’ve tried other “pregnancy workout apps” that were so easy I couldn’t retain my strength throughout pregnancy. This pregnancy program is not like that. It challenges me while also helping me be mindful of my body.

I was hesitant too!

I was relatively fit before getting pregnant. Life long dancer, taught dance and fitness before - and I am BEYOND PICKY about exercise structures and instructors.

Bringing the gym to my basement!

The variety and flexibility of these workouts is what makes this THE perfect program for the busy mom who’s short on time. Ashley has made it possible to bring the gym to our homes, with minimal equipment, for much less than the cost of a gym membership! This will always be my favorite program.

Now for a little of my story after 8 months of consistently following the GMS programs:
I FINALLY get it! It's about being STRONG, not small! Carrying my 1.5 yo around feels like a breeze. Most aches and pains have disappeared (aside from the glute burn after a good lower body day 😛). I cut, chop and throw wood weekly. My Diastasis Recti after five babies went from three fingers to one in half a year. My clothes fit better. My confidence has grown by leaps and bounds. My kids are seeing what healthy living looks like. No diets, no impossible “rules” to follow, no shame or guilt with treats. The improvements in my life, physical and mental, are incredible. I FEEL SO GOOD! The craziest part, a healthy relationship with food just became the norm. It took that shift from focusing on SIZE to STRENGTH. Once I got to that point, all the pieces fell into place. It’s taken determination and grit to get to this point, but dang was it worth it.

Keeps getting better

I’ve been doing SLAM for about two years, starting with the web-only version. Then came the first version of GetMomStrong , which was so convenient and full of great, new features. The newest version of GetMomStrong is even better and best of all, the feedback I’ve left after workouts have been directly implemented and added to this new version! I love that the community can influence GetMomStrong and the program. Regarding the workouts themselves, they’re challenging, fun, and impactful (I used to do a Crossfit-type workout and this is just as good, if not better). I had a prolapse after my first and did SLAM all through PP and through pregnancy with my second. My prolapse and DR are non-existant this time around and I feel so strong. I credit it all to Ashley and SLAM!
