Negative Interactive Experience with app

The Carolina Crown is an incredibly talented and professional group of musicians and performers, whom which I was very excited and grateful for the experience to see in person. Upon learning about their interactive app experience, I downloaded this app the day prior to the performance. I was looking forward to seeing this experience that was raved about. For lack of better wording, I was disappointed by the app. Straight off the bat, it struggled to sync into the performance. Between finicky bouts of not connecting, it would hardly ever keep up to what was happening. The app seemed glitchy and as did many around me, my phone never got the digital graphics that changed with the performance, rather only flashing the flashlight briefly at the beginning of the show. After hearing about this experience, obviously I was very much so looking forward to trying it out. I’m incredibly disappointed by the app’s performance and the time it wasted when I could’ve been watching the Carolina Crown’s performance rather then struggling with the app’s trailing performance. I hope that these issues may be fixed out and resolved so that future crowds will experience the Carolina Crown with the full experience, both live and interactive.
Novel concept, but…

Look. I like the concept of the app. I really do! The trouble is not everyone can attend a live performance of Carolina Crown, which is a real shame. What if a person with the app is sick and can’t attend the performance? They can’t be at the venue and use the app because they’re sick! It’s a great idea, but the fact that one has to be at the venue and not watching/listening to the performance remotely makes it fall flat on its face.
Regardless, I wish the best of luck to the performers in DCI, regardless of what corps they’re apart of.
