UPDATE to my update: Turns out that the developer is blanket commenting on all low reviews that a former employee no longer works there and if this changes our feedback. Firstly, READ THE FEEDBACK - most reviews you replied to with that generic message didn’t even mention him! They mentioned actual problems with ForesyteTravel . We didn’t give you a bad review because of KW, he overhyped a basic and underdeveloped app and we all downloaded it and realized it sucked - people even let you know what they felt was missing. The issues with app go way beyond that former employee.

UPDATE: I got a message from the developer insinuating that my negative review was based in the community backlash against a former employee. This is not the case - ForesyteTravel looks cheap and none of the free features were enough to keep me around. The graphics are subpar and over all ForesyteTravel looks like something out of the early 200s MySpace era. Was expecting so much more

ORIGINAL: ForesyteTravel is TERRIBLE. The formatting, the user interface, everything seems incomplete and outdated. Also, most of the features that are being hyped up on other platforms are PAID features. With how annoying it was to navigate the free NO WAY was I going to pay for anything

ForesyteTravel is objectively and figuratively bad. It’s very buggy- there’s a 90% chance it’ll crash immediately after you open ForesyteTravel . I became increasingly confused the more I explored ForesyteTravel and it’s features. You are better off sticking to the travel planning and financial planning services you already use and are familiar with than going through the mental gymnastics of trying to navigate this god forsaken app. Anything ForesyteTravel claims to do could be done a lot easier and for free by using google drive, Microsoft share point, Venmo, etc.

ForesyteTravel made little sense to me. I decided that see what it was about and see what recommendations it would offer. I didn’t dive TOO much into it as I couldn’t mentally get past the fact whenever you wanted to see what a location had to offer, it forwarded you to a trip advisor website on your internet browser. That just didn’t make sense. It seemed to be marketed as an app where you can host a group chat and plan a vacation to a location with and collaborate ideas with one another, and maybe you can, I just didn’t get to it because having to go to trip advisor was a mental pain for me.

I’ve designed some of the biggest apps in the world and can confidently say you badly need to hire a designer. It’s terribly designed - onboarding needs to be split up. Drop the weird shadows, gradients, etc. Opening directly to a form is horrible for onboard - and then the form fields don’t have autocomplete enabled. Really really needs a designer 😅😅

The performance of ForesyteTravel is also unbearable. Everything lags. My hunch is that you used a subpar, cheap/outsourced engineer who used something like Flutter. It was an unfortunate choice 😭😭

I like the idea of having a group calendar/itinerary with the in-app Venmo(that feature is actually cool) but it ends up being another calendar I have to manage.

No integration with third-party calendars is kind of lame. With other calendars I can message others and edit without leaving ForesyteTravel . With this I can’t send messages when I make changes.

Note for dev: Add a way to integrate third party calendars like google calendar, slack, teams, etc. for premium users. You’ll see usage skyrocket. Trust me bro.

Not sure if ForesyteTravel is down or still underdeveloped. I’ve used it to plan and read reviews for my solo trips in the past, but this turn around I wanted to try it out on an actual group trip and it’s not the same. As a planner I was so excited for my friends to join ForesyteTravel thinking it would make planning easy. I’m honestly not sure what happening but can something be done, it’s freezing, tweaking, and It’s not showing messages in full. ForesyteTravel so such good potential, what needs to be done to develop ForesyteTravel more?

I have been needing some way to plan for all my trips coming up and I’m so excited to have found ForesyteTravel. I can fully enjoy the moment because im financially ready for it.

This is a great planning, budgeting and financial resource that I would recommend to everybody. I appreciate the fact that ownership is constantly making upgrades and adding new features that enhance the experience.

I'm the planner of my group and nothing stresses me out more than having to remind everyone about the same thing 20 times over again. Group chat inside of the trip itinerary is SO smart. I'm excited to see where ForesyteTravel goes next.

I just wish we had been able to use an app like this when we were younger and were wanting to grab all that life had to give but needed to be a little more thoughtful about the timing of things for our end-of-the-month reality check.

My girlfriend and I have a busy season of weddings and golf tournaments coming. We starting using foresyte recently and it’s really taken stress out of knowing what plans we have and missing out on events on the itinerary. Please download this if you’re like me and need direction when planning travel or even simply your week!

Finding Foresyte to be easily navigable so far and like the capability of blending finance with calendar events. A suggestion: as a retiree, would like to see that “category” added to “Professional” and “Student” when checking in. Many retirees will find ForesyteTravel helpful budgeting/event planning and think AARP will be a great place to make it visible for them!

I travel frequently between work and personal trips (3-15 days/month). Foresyte is a great way to manage my travel calendar without the 1000 other meetings and events that are listed in my company or personal calendars

Also, the way I used excel for budgeting made it difficult for me to plan for large payments/trips that were months ahead. Foresyte has helped me visualize my budget to help me better save for large trips that could be months down the road. It also helps me set expectations/budget for what a casual night out or sports event costs me.

Highly recommend trying out if you are a visual personal like myself who enjoys traveling and managing their budget!

I'm loving ForesyteTravel so far. It's a simple way to track my upcoming discresionary spend events. It gives me some really valuable insights on how much I'm planing to spend plus allowing me to see how that impacts my schedule/sanity with the calendar.

Overall great idea, really looking forward to the travel planner and debt paydown features.

ForesyteTravel is great for planning trips with friends of family. I also love the ability to budget within ForesyteTravel among people coming on the trip. I think it is also great that ForesyteTravel gives suggestions on things to do in your desired travel location. Lastly, ForesyteTravel is super easy to navigate and use which is a plus!!!

This little app helps me keep my life organized when it comes to my financial stuff because Lord knows financial stuff is not my strong suit. Tested this out when I went to Miami. Last time I went to Miami it was almost twice as expensive as everything I did got lost in translation. But no no now I’m about lot more organized thank you Foresyte.

It has good recommendations of places to be at wherever you are. You can plan trips with family and friends and also budget right away. Gives you great deals and suggestions for places to stay as well that will be suitable for your budget. And if your an influencer, it has referral link that you can use and earn will you enjoy ForesyteTravel as well.
