RandomTimerGenerator was great and then at some point in the last month, from what I can tell, it changed. There are only two things that I need at random timer to do. 1 go off at a random time, and 2 go off at the volume I set it at. I use this for emergency preparedness. I don’t see any other reason why you would need RandomTimerGenerator. It still goes off randomly, but the volume changes on its own. Now I get during an emergency it’s going to be loud and chaotic, but I can do that by other means and I don’t need an app blowing out my cell phone speaker. Also the alarm itself plays something different. So you put it on explosion and on the third time it plays gong, you put it on beep and by the 2nd time it plays arcade. Now I don’t care about that one so much but it’s odd. I already tried deleting and reinstalling RandomTimerGenerator .

This is perfect except the font for the counts/reps is so small. It would be great if you could see this from a distance while working out.

After paying the $8 to unlock, I was disappointed to learn if you use the repeater loop and a custom sound that is longer that 2-3 seconds, you don’t hear the entire sound, just 2-3 seconds. And even if you use the “add a break between timers” option, it still cuts off the sound when looping is turned on.

Additionally, the alarm seems to always include vibrate, there is seemingly no option for sound alone, which is kind of annoying.

Other that it’s good, but hoping the developer sees this and makes a few small tweaks to get a 5th star from me. Thanks!

Planning on using this at the shooting range for target practice. Easy to use, nothing fancy, everything you need to set off a random alarm. Thanks for putting this in RandomTimerGenerator Store!

Great app for timing practice sessions- setting a timer for a time between 30-45 minutes to practice for. Or for audition preparation (you never know how long you’ll be waiting in a warm up room for). Thank you!

RandomTimerGenerator is great! It’s helpful in a lot of different situations. I’ve mainly used it while playing games that require a timer. The sounds are super fun and it’s way better than using the little hourglass timers that come with board games.

I give five stars since it meets all my needs, but there are just a few things missing, such as dark mode and a few other things. Still very useful and certainly worth downloading

RandomTimerGenerator is great. Simple to use. I use it as a coach to train my kayak polo athletes using a random alarm to initiate a fast reactive sprint. After talking to Davis he went even out of his way to implement a whistle sound…and even emailed me back informing me of this update!
Now that is customer service at its finest. Enjoy!

Our family loves playing games, and we were searching for a random timer generator for games like Catch Phrase. This one is great. It has so many cool countdown and alarm sounds to choose from (my favorites are “Epic” and Success”), and even a loop feature so a new timer stars right away.

Works exactly as developer says. Nice app! Would be nice if there were a way to save and name various timers and the settings associated with them. Would also be nice if you could upload, delete and select among multiple sounds instead of just one sound at a time in present PRO version.

Very useful random timer. Just wish you could view how much time passed when the timer is done (when you select to not show timer). I use it for exercise and don’t necessarily want to see the time during the countdown but do want to know once it’s over.

RandomTimerGenerator is a fantastic solution — simple and streamlined but totally customizable for every feature that matters. I have a discontinued board game that relies on a random countdown timer, which eventually broke, but RandomTimerGenerator serves the purpose perfectly. We loved the countdown sounds and the ability to hide the time. Five stars for sure!

RandomTimerGenerator would be perfect for my use if I could set “active hours”… like if I only want the random timer to be working from 8am to 10pm.

Bonus feature would be to select days for “weekdays only”.

Not a big deal to just pause and resume the timer but I’d love to be able to “set and forget” :)

I use RandomTimerGenerator for multiple purposes each day. Sometimes for exercise and other times for taking a break or overcoming procrastination. It has a simple user interface and works even when the phone goes to sleep. The developer is responsive when updates are needed as well.

RandomTimerGenerator just does everything you need cleanly and perfectly. Randomize when the alarm sounds between two min and max times that you can determine, turn sounds for timer on or off, customize sounds for both timer and alarm, it’s just super solid. Highly recommend.

Taking a 10-second pause to do nothing about every two minutes—ideally a random duration that averages to two minutes—is great for improving retention. RandomTimerGenerator is perfect for this purpose and it has some pleasant sounds to choose from. I use it in conjunction with mild white noise, which also improves learning.

The random timer is great for planks. Instead of doing my 1 minute holds, I set the timer to go off between 45 and 90 seconds. That means there’s some chance I’ll get off easy, but more than likely, I’m going extra time 😬. Not knowing exactly when the timer ends makes me commit to the hold so much better. Great app, clean interface, does exactly what I want it to do!

Very helpful app. I use it to motivate myself to stay on task. To the developer: I love that you took someone else’s suggestion to show the completed time when a hidden timer finishes. I would love it even more if that went one step further so that the completed time stayed visible until the next timer starts. I usually remember to note the time before I turn the alarm off, but sometimes I forget. Thanks so much for a great app!

Super clean. RandomTimerGenerator was way more than I was expecting. Works perfectly and has a few features that I didn’t even know I wanted. Would recommend 10/10.
