I decided to take a three day trial to check how good it is and if it’s true to what it claims. The first thing I noticed was the app is slow, especially on the Mac. There is an option of local transcription, but that is not very smooth and the transcription keeps getting stuck. The accuracy of transcription is not as good as you would expect. There are several places where the transcript escapes text or does not transcribe correctly. There are options of manual correction but I think there are other models in the market the transcribe much better. Finally, the trial is limited to just three days, which is somewhat limited. The developer has been launching some improvements in the past, but I think there is some way to go before this becomes a polished app. For now, I decided not to subscribe.

I spent hours trying to use this program! It did make captions, though had some very weird glitches in spots that required alot of time to manually correct the captions. After all that time was looking forward to posting, but when I went to play it in Quicktime the export did not have captions so I have to use another program to get them together. needless to say I am canceling it!

Tested this app to work in airplane mode and it works like a charm. Would love some more functions.
You touch the text to move it up or down on screen under the style option but that’s about it. You can’t put the text in any square where ever you want. So the current style works more like a closed captioning add and not something that compliments the visual style or spacing. Still 4 stars!
