Placeit Mockups & Design Reviews

Got PlaceitMockupsDesign for convenience purposes. Works great, but suggest the following fixes.
1) Allow me to stay logged in. Every time I use it, I need to login
2) On the website, I can see all photos from the model. On PlaceitMockupsDesign (as far as I know), I’m relegated to the one image. What if I want to see all mockups from a particular model?

I’m a long fan of place it on the desktop! When I found out a mobile version was coming out I was excited. After trying it for a couple weeks it has been awesome with getting images or advertisements edited that I’ve needed. I have experienced some small bugs here or there but the developer is on top of the updates and constantly fixing things. I highly recommend place it and hope to see a polished version very soon

I pay for it but it’s pretty bad. Crashes all the time. Lose a lot of work. Takes about 10-20min for each pic. 5-10 pics per item takes a long time.

PlaceitMockupsDesign allows me post new merch without having to rely on a designer or hire a model! Their merchandise mockups really stand out. I've been using Placeit on the web for a while... thrilled to have access to the iPhone app… highly recommend PlaceitMockupsDesign for creating pro artwork on the fly.

I use Placeit on my computer a lot so I thought PlaceitMockupsDesign would be a good addition. But it’s super slow (I have T1 internet) and I can’t find the files when they are downloaded. I’ve looked everywhere on my phone for them and they just aren’t there. So I have to go back to the computer to access them which defeats the purpose.

Added a star because PlaceitMockupsDesign looks like it should work and if it did would be very useful but most of the buttons don’t work and the navigation is confusing. I couldn’t get a single template to work.

While working on layouts work just disappears!
Hoping these types of issues are resolved so we can get things done on mobile.

Unable to upload graphics depending on size. Inconvenient if you have 5000 x 5000 graphics

I can’t even get anything to download…totally unusable for video mock-ups.

Be prepared to have your patience tried with how slow and unresponsive PlaceitMockupsDesign is. This was supposed to help ease my workload, not add more unnecessary stress to it.

Just downloaded PlaceitMockupsDesign and so far it working fine. I have to familiarize myself with the functionalities but overall I enjoy it cause it is easy access to create my mock-ups. But time will tell 👊🏽

Spent the $12 to get PlaceitMockupsDesign created a logo now I can’t download it to my phone😂what a waste of money sends me to a browser that won’t even open and when it does? There’s a download button that does nothing.👎requesting a refund from my bank🙃

I think I would like it better if it filled the screen. Clearly this is made for a phone, way too small to see anything really well on a tablet. That’s disappointing.

When I search something like “urban” designs pop up and no mock-ups and I apply filters to show only mock-ups and nothing changes. I select to sort a different way and nothing changes. I click to display only videos and still nothing changes. Do you even test PlaceitMockupsDesign or bugs before releasing? Because that’s ridiculous your filters don’t work whatsoever at all. Feels cheap and fake. The website is much better though. PlaceitMockupsDesign is 3/10

As many have previously stated PlaceitMockupsDesign is very buggy, and slow. When it does work it’s a lot of fun, but it rarely works. They shouldn’t charge money for PlaceitMockupsDesign with it not working properly. Or at least shouldn’t be $15/month. I can’t get colors to change half the time and when I try to crop it either removes the image or makes no change. I’ve requested a refund. I’ll keep you updated.

I can only imagine PlaceitMockupsDesign works the same as the mobile web version, which in itself isn’t all that great. I have to imagine because at this point I can only view saved work and I’m always “offline” when trying to edit or view anything else.

I hate that. I spent my money on PlaceitMockupsDesign just for it to crash. I can’t even make my mock ups for my website. This is very frustrating.

PlaceitMockupsDesign keeps freezing when you enter your login information

Works same as website, it is essentially an app version of the website.

Buggy, very slow, crashes or stops frequently, takes forever — tied to internet speed, because it is more of a web app. I find the internet version on iPad is the same. Both are painful and slow to use with constant crashes and long hesitations. I use them because this is all there is to get the job done. But it hurts… soooooo slow and unresponsive.

However, if you have a faster Mac or faster iPad/iPhone — and fast internet — you may have a better experience. It really depends on your device’s age/CPU speed/RAM and your internet speed.

I do recommend PlaceIt, and I use it daily.

When it gets faster and less buggy for slower devices, I will upgrade the stars. (My device is only a few years old, not ancient, and has lots of free storage, and was maxed out in extra when I bought my device.)

I’ve been trying to change the text on PlaceitMockupsDesign for some time now and it just goes right back to the default text, not sure what is going on but kinda frustrating.
