First off EffectoSymptomMoodTracker wasn’t that useful which is why I cancelled shortly after downloading and starting the free trial. But I noticed the other day that Apple also thought they were sketch because they flagged the charge from them. Which alerted me that they had not only charged me once but twice for EffectoSymptomMoodTracker when I had cancelled during the free trial. Now I’m trying to get a refund and they claim I need proof. Which of course you don’t get when you cancel a free trial in EffectoSymptomMoodTracker they created. Upon further inspection I do have some emails where they told me they we reactivating my account for 24 hour for a deal. Which right there tells you it wasn’t active and they charged me without my permission. This is a complete scam and I’d be happy to start gathering details for a class action. I’ll add my email here in the future if it gets to that.

Immediately got a call from my bank after I started the membership for fraud. Huge red flag so I cancelled immediately. I authorized the membership and workbooks but there was also an authorization not marked as Effecto for $0.00 at the exact same time which just seems super suspicious to me…

I downloaded this and didn’t sign up. I was subscribed without signing up and noticed the expensive recurring payments automatically coming out of my account. Do not download even by accident.

Deceptive practices. Didn’t even know I was signed up and when annual fee got charged with never using app they wouldn’t return the money that had me go negative in my account. I guess it’s the only way they can make money. Don’t waste your time.

No way to cancel until after billed. When you ask for a refund they send you the terms and conditions despite their not being the ability to cancel via your Apple ID like every other legit app. Scammers and hustlers and I regret ever using this unhelpful app.

Total scam. I didn’t sign up, it isn’t in my subscriptions and no way to cancel on app. They’ve charged me $30 the last two months. Just canceled via email and requested a refund, will contact my bank if they don’t comply and delete my info/account.

STAY AWAY FROM EffectoSymptomMoodTracker! I cancelled EffectoSymptomMoodTracker in 2023 (after immediately downloading be side it is horrible and is not what is advertised) by jumping through hoops with multiple emails finally getting someone to answer me and assuring me that my account was cancelled. A year later, I received another $60 charge from them, I reached out to them again and got a response saying it is now cancelled. I asked for a refund and my email was escalated to senior representative. She denied me my refund because they “were not at fault” however they were. When I questioned her and asked for clarification I was completely ignored. 6 emails later, all without responses, I am $60 out and am warning everyone to stay far away from EffectoSymptomMoodTracker.

Horrible UX/UI and you can’t cancel your account. They will continue to charge you even after you have jumped through the hoops to cancel, which you can’t do through Apple or through EffectoSymptomMoodTracker . You have to email customer service which they will ignore and continue to charge you. Total scam preying upon people trying to better themselves.

Seriously. I don’t tend to write in capitals - but if you have ADHD and download this, you will regret it. If you sign up for the subscription, there’s no easy way to cancel. And then you’ll automatically be charged a year later. If you then send an email to be canceled (even on the same day you’re charged) they will claim that since you ‘received’ the item digitally, they cannot refund. Ugh. Shady, shady, shady

UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO BELOW REPLY: I DID contact customer service multiple times and still get the same response. This is obfuscation at its finest. Horrible, horrible, horrible. You won’t refund me for an unused and canceled product no matter how many times I contact customer service. Stop misleading those you prey upon!

DO NOT download EffectoSymptomMoodTracker, I just wasted valuable time filling out the whole questionnaire, only to find out I have to pay in order to use EffectoSymptomMoodTracker . Might as well not make it free to download because you literally cannot do ANYTHING with it without giving them at least $30. Also many reviews say they make it way too difficult to cancel, so I’m glad I didn’t sign up. Such a shady, scummy app. There are definitely other ones out there with free features!

EffectoSymptomMoodTracker is a subscription trapped, disguised as a tool to help you with your health, but is ultimately a way to charge you quietly a renewal fee every 3 months without communication, providing receipts, or reminders or notifications of payment, as a way to charge you money without you noticing for as long as possible. Customer services will not help with a refund. The makers of EffectoSymptomMoodTracker know what they’re doing to take your money, as I have experienced first hand. Don’t fall for it.

Not only is EffectoSymptomMoodTracker confusing and not user friendly but the company itself exploits the very population they claim to want to help and support, namely ADHDers. Do not sign up for the free trial. It will lock you into automatic payment withdrawals that you won’t be able to figure out how to cancel. There is no customer service provided that seeks to do anything other than confuse and frustrate you ensuring that Effecto aka Medical Score keeps your money. They will not refund even when there is proof of cancellation attempts. This company and its phone app simply has no redeeming value. They are a scam. Zero stars.

EffectoSymptomMoodTracker is okay, but it’s impossible to get a hold of support. I’ve tried 5 times in the the last 3 weeks. After using EffectoSymptomMoodTracker daily to try to gain insights on my symptoms, most insights failed because of insufficient data - which makes sense - EffectoSymptomMoodTracker fails to control for variables making it a poor gauge of determining the causes (or effects) of anything with any level of certainty. After this hopeful and diligent 3 months trying to get something meaningful out of the experience other than another thing on my to-do list, I’ve been unable to login to my account or access my data, with no warning at all that my subscription was about to end or a heads up I needed to continue. I will not resubscribe without hearing back from customer support whether or not my previous data has been lost forever so I continue to be left in the dark. Okay app, terrible experience.
