LUDEX Sports Card Scanner +TCG Reviews

I have thoroughly enjoyed using LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG , partly with valuing cards and mostly with revisiting my childhood. I love the portfolio feature, the ability to find a parallel card that you may actually have, and the ability to find the card if there were issues in scanning. There are some issues in cataloging cards that I sent concerns to the team. They responded quickly, and seemed grateful for the feedback. I will enjoy scanning basketball cards when the beta testing is complete!

Been using LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG for two months, so paying subscriber who's happy to pay for a functioning product, but there are some glaring gaps in their database that renders this an incomplete product.

Most of the missed baseball products are recent - they still don't have 2021 topps chrome platinum, let alone Fire, but apparently they have huge gaps in their 1953 topps listing? They were missing a large swath of numbers from that set so I couldn't add those to my collection. Between that and rushing forward to add new lines (TCG) rather than solidifying what's here, I'm not convinced they're operating in good faith. I've unsubscribed and may return if I see signs of real updates, not flashy new product lines.

I had a beautiful review mostly done. Then I switched to LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG , and it crashed. Sigh. It has gotten zero cards right for me. 2019 Topps base - I could chose 2019 chrome or opening day. 2019 panini prizm. Negative. It thought it was 2021 panini prizm. 2005 donruss extra edition Stanton rookie? Nope. And anything 2022 was too new to be recognized. I’ve spent enough time with this.

Two stars because the idea is exactly spot on. It’s very close, but the recognition execution isn’t there yet. Soon, I bet. But this should 100% be free to get some sort of user base to help develop the database thereby the recognition aspect. Good luck, Ludex!

But I can’t recommend using it currently, and for $10/month? Ahem. It should sell my cards for me.

We went home to my in-laws for the holidays & found tons of football, basketball, and baseball cards from his childhood. We wanted to know what to hold onto & what to just give away — he started looking them up individually on eBay before I brought up LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG! It’s so quick and easy to use. We scanned the cards throughout the evening while spending time with family. It was fun to see which cards were potentially worth more than a few dollars!

I love LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG , the only thing i would say is can you add a soccer, scan

LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is a game changer for the hobby. Before I had a bunch of cards and didn’t know the price of it now they’re all in my Ludex portfolio and I can tell the price and easily put them on eBay. LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG basically pays for itself after I found a couple cards worth the value that I would never found without LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG .

I was really excited about the potential LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG seemed to try and bring to a industry that could greatly benefit from ai cataloging and standardized quality measures. That being said, downloaded LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG , signed up, clicked start my free trial, purchased, then….

The same screen. I click start trial again…apple prompt tells me I have an active subscription however LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG doesn’t recognize me as a now subscribed user and won’t go past the paywall prompt. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Same issue.

I can’t really review what I can’t test out. Very disappointing.

This is not the only scanning app on LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG Store but it is by far the best. I don’t know how the other apps rate above Ludex.. I bet they are buying reviews. That’s the only way they could be ranked above Ludex. I really like the interface how clean it is and the portfolio sorting abilities. Keep delivering cutting edge tech. Look forward to seeing the next update.

I uploaded roughly 100 baseball cards and although it did nearly (and quickly) identify them, there were several it couldn’t identify. It did not pick up a single 1996 Score card (i have the set) which contains rookies for Mariano Rivera and Derek Jeter.

I also own more NBA and NFL cards than anything and neither of those sports are available to upload yet. I’ll be canceling before my 2 week trial period is up. Not worth the money to pay for an unfinished product.

Ludex is so much faster than any other card scanner. Other apps take much longer and require photos of the front and back of the card. With Ludex, you only need to take a photo of the front of the card. Excited for what's coming. Hockey season is only a few weeks away.

I am new to card collecting, so I appreciate the ease of LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG. Helps me keep track of my collection and the cost of the cards if I choose to sell in the future. So far, LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG has had no problem identifying and pricing all of my cards within seconds. Great tool for hobbyists!

For a beta version, LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is incredible. The way it is able to scan parallels and recognize them is very impressive. I understand they are still in early versions of their technology so I understand the misses and the updates that are soon to come.

I used it this Christmas weekend with my family and it was such a great help with my baseball card collection! I would recommend LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG to anyone who has sports cards. It’s so easy to use, and a great starting point for any card collected.

I have tried a couple of apps like this and this was is by far the worst one Yet out of the ones I have tried. I scanned several Tom Brady cards several Patrick mahomes several josh Allen cards and it doesn’t recognize any of them. Just trash and then they want you to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a subscription fee. Good luck I’ll buy a Beckett or so before I lose money to a app that can’t read any football card I scanned.

LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is stuck and will not let me scan cards i have the free and with 129 cards left to scan and will not let me upgrade my membership…. Thanks it’s been fixed

LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is so good it was getting every card right and is so much better than any of the other scanning apps. The New EBay prices are so clutch when trying to buy or sell on the move.

This is so what this industry needs. Crazy that in 2022 you still have to mail cards away for a high fee and wait months for a rating. Highly, highly recommend ludex.

This is great. It’s so easy to upload my cards and the accuracy has been flawless. Finally, something like this is available for us card lovers

I found LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG when I got a new card pack and it made finding the value of my cards so easy! I highly recommend LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG to anyone with sports cards!

Super exicited that they are now offering a free and lite version! I just can’t spend the money on this right now, so the free version fits the bill for the time being.

All I can say is I’m grateful for the free trial. That at least gave me time to go through my collection, and get the cards it could actually recognize scanned in. I wouldn’t pay a dollar a month for LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG, definitely not $10. The cards that LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG can actually recognize, are given completely inaccurate values. Because if you scan a raw base card, it will include graded prices, and prices for different parallel’s in the average value of your card, so it makes it look like your collection is worth way more than it is. LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is such a great idea, but it has a ridiculously long way to go before it’s worth anywhere near $10 a month.

I am just getting back into the hobby and introducing it to my daughters! We love LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG and have fun scanning cards in together. We went to my office closet, grabbed cards from my childhood and started scanning. Most of the were recognized (yay!) but they were values really high. I am not sure how they find their values, but the link to eBay that is in LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG drill down was way off from the quoted price. I would love to see more accurate pricing. I just started the subscription and hope to keep with it if this gets straightened out.

Is there a plan to allow selling of cards directly through LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG? Also, I have used COLLX and your program allows for taking pictures and getting results considerably easier but they have many more functionalities. Do you plan on having any of the same ones? I am very happy that I am using your program, and I did get a paid subscription, but I would like to know what is coming in the future. Thank you very much.

I’ve been trying to get back into the hobby but i haven’t been active since the junk wax era and the new cards seemed too much to understand and track. Since using LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG I can see what my cards are worth (not a lot for my old cards lol) but it has helped me get back into it. Going to hit the new topps release when it comes out and can’t wait to see what I get!

I’ve been out of the hobby for years and recently decided to start going through some cards. Saw a video on TikTok about Ludex & figured I’d check it out. It’s been helpful giving me an idea of what certain cards are worth, which is nice. There have been quiet a few that aren’t in the database yet, or that it thinks are something else. Those issues should change as more people start using LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG and scanning their cards in.

I’m not sure why the ratings are lower on LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG. It is much better as far as card recognition, pricing, and organization. I truly love it so far. If they would just allow you to put notes about your card so that you could designate condition notes, how much you paid or if autographed it would pe perfect, I’ve already upgraded to unlimited scans and am very happy

I started LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG because I was using the COLLX app and it completely lost my entire collection!!!! I refused to re-enter every card in that app, and could not get support to help get it back! LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG identifies amazingly fast and gives up to date prices ranges! Definitely recommend LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG over any others so far!! Will update if any issues arise but so far…. A+++++!!!!!

I used the ludex app to quickly scan and create a database of my card collection. I’m able to see what prices cards are trading. I haven’t purchased new cards since the 90s and recently purchased new cards. Was so nice to be able to differentiate different versions of cards (parallels and colors, etc).

A friend told me about this, it’s so cool. My son and I immediately dug out all my old cards from the basement and started scanning. I’ve been trying to get him into cards for years but he never really bit (other than Pokémon) but wow, once he started scanning he couldn’t stop. This was exactly what we needed! Thank you!

I’ve been looking looking for an app like this my whole life. I now can organize my card collection on my phone and have it forever. LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is easy to use and super accurate. Definitely recommend!!!

I have had LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG for a few weeks now it’s definitely made organizing my collection a breeze. The unlimited scan subscription is a great option for me because I can scan my sports cards and my son can scan his Pokémon
Collection it’s a nice way of sharing something we’re both passionate about. Overall love LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG however I do hate that it seems it gets its cards value by recent sales so most of my 2023 cards that I’ve scanned say value pending which is a bit annoying also certain cards like my Sage football cards are just seemingly impossible to scan no results found on over 20 cards which is frustrating because it limits my ability to value and organize my collection. Also several times app freezes I had to close out and reopen. Anywho overall great app but for their are a lot of great apps that charge way less so as a paying customer is really like to see more or may have to look elsewhere.

The UI of LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is really nice but, other than cataloging my cards into a searchable collection, I find LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG not helpful. I was hoping to be able to use it to value cards easily on the fly, but I have found that most of the cards I scan end up as “value estimate pending”. Definitely not worth the cost of a subscription. If they can get the valuation piece to work well, LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG would be great. There also needs to be a way to add parallels for cards. If it’s not in the database, there is no way to add it so my card ends up mislabeled.

I know that LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG wants you to buy there product and gives you limited portfolio slots but i wanted to see if i could make a few dollars off of my old pokemon cards and made $116.i dont need to say more- LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is a lifesaver and recommend to everyone.

With the new iPhone release it has stopped working. It crashes the second you try to pull up the camera. It’s was pretty cool before that. Also, why can’t I just search for a card without scanning it first? It’s basically useless now.

Edit: Every recent review has a developer response but this one. Can we get an update as to when you plan on updating LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG? You’d think that you would have had enough time to fix a simple camera crash for the highly anticipated iPhone 15 launch. Maybe I am the only person that bought one.

I scanned multiple Japanese pokemon cards and they fell under the english version of their respective card sets. This needs to be resolved so it falls under the Japanese card set , example: crown zenith set -> Vstar universe set (Japanese). This affects the prices of the card marginally. Also the scanner does not pick up any Japanese cards older than a certain year. They wouldn’t scan my Neo genesis or Neo discovery cards. Also the monthly fee of $10 should probably be a one time payment for base standard or like $5 / month considering it’s just a diary for cards.

I just downloaded LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG yesterday and they have many videos to see what’s in the card world they also help me determine how much my card collection I have been collecting for years and when I scanned all some of my cards it gave accurate prices I think this is a website that everybody should download if they collect any cards Pokémon, baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer, and many more

I tried all the other apps and after really poor experiences, I decided to delete all the other apps and stick with Ludex because I get unlimited scans and it’s by far the most accurate capturing my cards. I’ve tested the eBay feature and thought it was really convenient. I love that it tracks my card prices daily and the new discover section keeps me up to date on trending sold players. App keeps getting better and better!

I love what LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG does in terms of tracking cards, scanning and pricing. The issues with LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG are that it will freeze up regularly while using it requiring you to close out and restart. This can happen frequently. Sometimes it will also scan one card and while it will confirm the card a picture of another card will show up in its place after you confirm. If they are able to fix the bugs I would give it a higher rating.

I was using LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG and had a pretty good collection going and today LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG wouldn’t let me see my collection or the values or anything. Scanner didn’t work either. But I turned my phone off and let it set a a few minutes. Turned it back on went back to Ludex and I had to log in and then when I did my collection was gone!!! Just like that gone!!! And like I said I had a pretty good collection going. So I’m glad I deleted this before I got to deep into it.

When cards aren’t recognized, we’re kind of stuck having to remember to come back to Ludex and take a picture later. I forget which card. Is there a way to keep an unrecognized card inventory that will occasionally check with the database when new cards have been added?

So make sure when you scan your card, you’re clicking on the eBay sold listings in LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG . I’ve scanned no name players on a base card and it said the card was worth 3 bucks. I got to check the eBay sold listing on LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG and no recent sales to properly value the card. I’ve also scanned cards that show me the value of PSA graded cards when I it should be showing me raw value. It has some bugs but it’s helped me a lot with finding information on cards I’m not familiar with. It’s great for getting you basic information about a card so that you can better research it.

This is what we’ve been waiting for!.. the ultimate stream machine I call it. Just two months ago I re-entered the card bonanza and was at the dinosaur age until I said let me download LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG right her Ludex and it has changed my life and Up’d my business and business by 50% we can all love that type of response and result from our hard work at data entry and scanning. This is 1 for the book! Thanks Ludex you’ll change the card and brought back the passion of the once hobby.
