I am a new Hobby Box football card collector. If you are a 2023 Panini Contender Collector, consider yourself warned: LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG simply refuses to recognize the Contender cards. I have tested several, and it can't or won't allow them. Even attempting to add a manual card does not work. I am highly disappointed. I have over a thousand panini draft class and select cards registered in LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG, and the thought of moving my collection to another app stinks. However, I want real-time tracking of my investment, and LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG currently cannot provide it. Additionally, typically, when you pay for access, you are not allowed to see the in-house ads, but you are not allowed to see them on LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG. They put their in-house ads on the home page regardless I would prefer the option. To not see them after paying to be a member.

Update this issue is fixed for Panini Contenders football cards let’s take a moment and celebrate that victory, now I have the same issue with Donruss Optic 2023 football cards.

Just kidding, but in all seriousness keep up the good work. I realize these things don’t happen overnight. It takes time.

With the new iPhone release it has stopped working. It crashes the second you try to pull up the camera. It’s was pretty cool before that. Also, why can’t I just search for a card without scanning it first? It’s basically useless now.

Edit: Every recent review has a developer response but this one. Can we get an update as to when you plan on updating LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG? You’d think that you would have had enough time to fix a simple camera crash for the highly anticipated iPhone 15 launch. Maybe I am the only person that bought one.

Where do i even begin you have to have a membership just to make your full collection it will pan the photo to a random area sometimes resulting on you having to scan card again some cards dont even have a result and eventually it will get to a point where the just keeps repeatedly crashing and popping up no result for any card you search
I’m warning you do not download app is garbage I would not even put it in my garbage can outside that would be a shelter and I wouldn’t do that. I wouldn’t let the animals outside like raccoons eat it. I would rather them eat garbage, garbage is delicacy. Compared to LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG.

I was really excited about the potential LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG seemed to try and bring to a industry that could greatly benefit from ai cataloging and standardized quality measures. That being said, downloaded LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG , signed up, clicked start my free trial, purchased, then….

The same screen. I click start trial again…apple prompt tells me I have an active subscription however LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG doesn’t recognize me as a now subscribed user and won’t go past the paywall prompt. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Same issue.

I can’t really review what I can’t test out. Very disappointing.

I have tried a couple of apps like this and this was is by far the worst one Yet out of the ones I have tried. I scanned several Tom Brady cards several Patrick mahomes several josh Allen cards and it doesn’t recognize any of them. Just trash and then they want you to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a subscription fee. Good luck I’ll buy a Beckett or so before I lose money to a app that can’t read any football card I scanned.

Been using LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG for two months, so paying subscriber who's happy to pay for a functioning product, but there are some glaring gaps in their database that renders this an incomplete product.

Most of the missed baseball products are recent - they still don't have 2021 topps chrome platinum, let alone Fire, but apparently they have huge gaps in their 1953 topps listing? They were missing a large swath of numbers from that set so I couldn't add those to my collection. Between that and rushing forward to add new lines (TCG) rather than solidifying what's here, I'm not convinced they're operating in good faith. I've unsubscribed and may return if I see signs of real updates, not flashy new product lines.

I scanned multiple Japanese pokemon cards and they fell under the english version of their respective card sets. This needs to be resolved so it falls under the Japanese card set , example: crown zenith set -> Vstar universe set (Japanese). This affects the prices of the card marginally. Also the scanner does not pick up any Japanese cards older than a certain year. They wouldn’t scan my Neo genesis or Neo discovery cards. Also the monthly fee of $10 should probably be a one time payment for base standard or like $5 / month considering it’s just a diary for cards.

I like the idea, I’m on the free trial currently but I don’t plan on keeping it unless this is fixed. My biggest issue is the “sell” button doesn’t work after linking eBay account with Ludex. I’ll have to scan the card and then open the eBay app and list it as apposed to being able to do so straight from LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG . I have no idea why, ive followed their in app directions to a T but the button simply won’t work.

Also the cards scan incorrectly way too often for $10 a month. If these issues were fixed I could justify the $10 a month. Right now it’s just a good tool to keep track of the cards in your collection and maybe their value. Please fix the sell button.

The UI of LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is really nice but, other than cataloging my cards into a searchable collection, I find LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG not helpful. I was hoping to be able to use it to value cards easily on the fly, but I have found that most of the cards I scan end up as “value estimate pending”. Definitely not worth the cost of a subscription. If they can get the valuation piece to work well, LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG would be great. There also needs to be a way to add parallels for cards. If it’s not in the database, there is no way to add it so my card ends up mislabeled.

I had a beautiful review mostly done. Then I switched to LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG , and it crashed. Sigh. It has gotten zero cards right for me. 2019 Topps base - I could chose 2019 chrome or opening day. 2019 panini prizm. Negative. It thought it was 2021 panini prizm. 2005 donruss extra edition Stanton rookie? Nope. And anything 2022 was too new to be recognized. I’ve spent enough time with this.

Two stars because the idea is exactly spot on. It’s very close, but the recognition execution isn’t there yet. Soon, I bet. But this should 100% be free to get some sort of user base to help develop the database thereby the recognition aspect. Good luck, Ludex!

But I can’t recommend using it currently, and for $10/month? Ahem. It should sell my cards for me.

I uploaded roughly 100 baseball cards and although it did nearly (and quickly) identify them, there were several it couldn’t identify. It did not pick up a single 1996 Score card (i have the set) which contains rookies for Mariano Rivera and Derek Jeter.

I also own more NBA and NFL cards than anything and neither of those sports are available to upload yet. I’ll be canceling before my 2 week trial period is up. Not worth the money to pay for an unfinished product.

I got stuck using LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG because I’m dumb and didn’t cancel the free trial when I tested LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG . Of course it charged for a full year so I’ve been using it. The time it would initially save you by just searching eBay and clicking “sell one like this” is erased by LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG AI filling out very minimal info on the card and the biggest issue I’ve experienced is the shipping cost. I set the shipping cost and method only for it to auto change back to original settings for every card. I cannot fix this issue so I’m forced to go into eBay and then fix it after it’s posted. LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG would be beneficial if it actually saved you time but it takes longer than just going through eBay because of these issues. There is zero reason LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG should charge people already but charging that much with current issues is ridiculous.

There are a few issues. 1) I get no data available from cards I try to scan in even though I scanned in cards from the same series. 2) Some sets are not available (2023 Sage, 2024 Cards of all sorts). 3) Some cards misidentified by LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG , plus current rates do not show even after changing the card type. 4) Autograph cards do not reflect properly. 5) Some scan ins provide incorrect card numbers. This is a good App, and can be better if better updated and maintained. I enjoy LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG and would hate to move to a different one, so please get these bugs fixed.

All I can say is I’m grateful for the free trial. That at least gave me time to go through my collection, and get the cards it could actually recognize scanned in. I wouldn’t pay a dollar a month for LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG, definitely not $10. The cards that LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG can actually recognize, are given completely inaccurate values. Because if you scan a raw base card, it will include graded prices, and prices for different parallel’s in the average value of your card, so it makes it look like your collection is worth way more than it is. LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is such a great idea, but it has a ridiculously long way to go before it’s worth anywhere near $10 a month.

I have had LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG for about a week, and have loaded approximately 600 cards. All sports cards, and primarily baseball cards. One notable option that is missing so far from LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is the ability to sort cards by year in numerical order. All sports card checklists are generated by card number, but LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG has no option to let you match up the card. You saved online against any kind of a checklist like that. If or when that option is added, it will improve my personal rating of LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG.

Three stars because LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is fantastically designed. Other than this it would have been two stars. The issue is control. If I can’t find a card on LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG , but I can find it on eBay, I should be able to add the card myself. I can’t use LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG because it will not let me add cards to my collection if they are not in the database. The help section says, be patient as they are adding the cards. This is an impossible task, and the best solution is to let people add cards they can’t find, and are able to find elsewhere. Then the staff could check the veracity of a card rather than spending time adding cards. Have us do the work for you, but the controlling human aspect is what hinders LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG . Do better.

I love what LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG does in terms of tracking cards, scanning and pricing. The issues with LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG are that it will freeze up regularly while using it requiring you to close out and restart. This can happen frequently. Sometimes it will also scan one card and while it will confirm the card a picture of another card will show up in its place after you confirm. If they are able to fix the bugs I would give it a higher rating.

Hello, I want to preface this review by saying I love the concept and what was attempted with LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG, and I enjoy how the devs have been responding to criticism and improving things. But LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is still full of issues, especially with Pokemon cards. The main issues I have encountered I will list below.

1. Pokemon card library. I do not know where Ludex gets its library of Pokemon cards, but it’s missing so much, some of the random promo cards and reprints is pretty excusable, but there’s some pretty well known cards that aren’t there

2. Search function. The search function if your card doesn’t scan correctly is a good concept but in execution this one is. completely broken, and I cannot find anything with it

3. Alternative versions of cards. If you have a version of a card that isn’t the main one from the packs or a reverse holo, you are out of luck. No option for metal variants, deck cards, or anything besides reverse holo is annoying, but it’s definitely not a HUGE issue

4. Binders. Binders are really hard to use, from someone trying to collect full sets. Good luck, if you want to use the broken search tool, you cannot search by set, also it’s found to be out of order from lack of a custom order option

Overall, I love LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG, and I love the idea, but the issues are so jarring and make it almost impossible to collect the way LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG intends you too. If these issues ever get fixed. Definitely a 5 star app.

LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is great but it lacks in some things that if added would make it better all in. Here is a short list that would benefit the entire Ludex community.

1) The search function when looking for card sim your collection needs to be fixed. Anything I search for come up with no results. The only way to search for a card is to type in the name only. I should be able to put ex. 1995 Upper deck and it pull up any of those matching items. It doesn’t.

2) A lot of times you can scan a card and it doesn’t have an estimated price. We can update the price and that’s great but in order to do that you have to go to a search engine and type in the name of the card. It would be nice if there was a copy feature so we could copy and then paste the card name to the search engine.

3) When searching for a card in your collection it would be nice if you could add a filter option to search by card price.

4) It would be nice if LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG could alert you when you scan a double. Or if LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG could have a sub tab in “My Collection” that shows all the doubles scanned.

especially for the paid version. Way more often than not it just throws out random parallels that doesn’t even come close to what the version of the card is. It does a decent job of finding the card manufacturer, year, # etc.. the basics. But it does fire blanks often and come up empty when it shouldn’t.
It’s a nice app that does some things good but nothing great imo. Would love to have this a 5 star review but it just needs to be improved. Please developers continue tweaking and improving.. you’ve got a great start going!

I’ve been out of the hobby for years and recently decided to start going through some cards. Saw a video on TikTok about Ludex & figured I’d check it out. It’s been helpful giving me an idea of what certain cards are worth, which is nice. There have been quiet a few that aren’t in the database yet, or that it thinks are something else. Those issues should change as more people start using LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG and scanning their cards in.

So make sure when you scan your card, you’re clicking on the eBay sold listings in LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG . I’ve scanned no name players on a base card and it said the card was worth 3 bucks. I got to check the eBay sold listing on LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG and no recent sales to properly value the card. I’ve also scanned cards that show me the value of PSA graded cards when I it should be showing me raw value. It has some bugs but it’s helped me a lot with finding information on cards I’m not familiar with. It’s great for getting you basic information about a card so that you can better research it.

I scanned my graded card but it said value pending. And I don’t really wanna add my own values because they might not be accurate as much a ludex’s. I would really appreciate it. another negative is that you have to pay to have unlimited scans but as a collector that doesn’t want to pay for the membership it’s annoying , I would like it if every week you got another three scans or something like that. Part for that LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is very good.

I am just getting back into the hobby and introducing it to my daughters! We love LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG and have fun scanning cards in together. We went to my office closet, grabbed cards from my childhood and started scanning. Most of the were recognized (yay!) but they were values really high. I am not sure how they find their values, but the link to eBay that is in LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG drill down was way off from the quoted price. I would love to see more accurate pricing. I just started the subscription and hope to keep with it if this gets straightened out.

I have had LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG for a few weeks now it’s definitely made organizing my collection a breeze. The unlimited scan subscription is a great option for me because I can scan my sports cards and my son can scan his Pokémon
Collection it’s a nice way of sharing something we’re both passionate about. Overall love LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG however I do hate that it seems it gets its cards value by recent sales so most of my 2023 cards that I’ve scanned say value pending which is a bit annoying also certain cards like my Sage football cards are just seemingly impossible to scan no results found on over 20 cards which is frustrating because it limits my ability to value and organize my collection. Also several times app freezes I had to close out and reopen. Anywho overall great app but for their are a lot of great apps that charge way less so as a paying customer is really like to see more or may have to look elsewhere.

I have thoroughly enjoyed using LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG , partly with valuing cards and mostly with revisiting my childhood. I love the portfolio feature, the ability to find a parallel card that you may actually have, and the ability to find the card if there were issues in scanning. There are some issues in cataloging cards that I sent concerns to the team. They responded quickly, and seemed grateful for the feedback. I will enjoy scanning basketball cards when the beta testing is complete!

I was using LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG and had a pretty good collection going and today LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG wouldn’t let me see my collection or the values or anything. Scanner didn’t work either. But I turned my phone off and let it set a a few minutes. Turned it back on went back to Ludex and I had to log in and then when I did my collection was gone!!! Just like that gone!!! And like I said I had a pretty good collection going. So I’m glad I deleted this before I got to deep into it.

Is there a plan to allow selling of cards directly through LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG? Also, I have used COLLX and your program allows for taking pictures and getting results considerably easier but they have many more functionalities. Do you plan on having any of the same ones? I am very happy that I am using your program, and I did get a paid subscription, but I would like to know what is coming in the future. Thank you very much.

I’m not sure why the ratings are lower on LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG. It is much better as far as card recognition, pricing, and organization. I truly love it so far. If they would just allow you to put notes about your card so that you could designate condition notes, how much you paid or if autographed it would pe perfect, I’ve already upgraded to unlimited scans and am very happy

LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is a game changer for the hobby. Before I had a bunch of cards and didn’t know the price of it now they’re all in my Ludex portfolio and I can tell the price and easily put them on eBay. LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG basically pays for itself after I found a couple cards worth the value that I would never found without LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG .

Since using LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG I can see what my cards are worth (not a lot for my old cards lol) but it has helped me get back into it. We went home to my in-laws for the holidays & found tons of football, basketball, and baseball cards from his childhood. We wanted to know what to hold onto & what to just give away — he started looking them up individually on eBay before I brought up LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG! It’s so quick and easy to use. LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG should be free like for real you’re just checking the value of your card just to see how expensive they are I did it that it cost money to on LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG , but you could make it to where there’s like a donation button inside the system and if you really need money, then people can donate money instead of having to pay monthly or yearly if not make yearly and monthly plan cheaper I guess your monthly plans are already cheap make the yearly plan, please like I said I prefer that LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG like I’m being serious. LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG should be free. The whole system should be free so you know how you take a picture and it stores up your collection shouldn’t be like that it should be just where you take a picture of your card and the database just tells you the price of your card is and that’s it. No storage required so Like a memory bank And if not that the storage should be free and you shouldn’t have to pay monthly for LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG at all or the storage or pay any kind of money yearly this is flat out wrong because I could take my sport cards to a professional card place and they would tell me what the value of the cards are for free just for the value of the cards And you want money in return just so people can scan the value of their cards that’s wrong.

Just two months ago I re-entered the card bonanza and was at the dinosaur age until I said let me download LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG right her Ludex and it has changed my life and Up’d my business and business by 50% we can all love that type of response and result from our hard work at data entry and scanning. A friend told me about this, it’s so cool. My son and I immediately dug out all my old cards from the basement and started scanning. I’ve been trying to get him into cards for years but he never really bit (other than Pokémon) but wow, once he started scanning he couldn’t stop. This was exactly what we needed! Thank you!

I used the ludex app to quickly scan and create a database of my card collection. I’m able to see what prices cards are trading. I haven’t purchased new cards since the 90s and recently purchased new cards. Was so nice to be able to differentiate different versions of cards (parallels and colors, etc).

This is not the only scanning app on LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG Store but it is by far the best. I don’t know how the other apps rate above Ludex.. I bet they are buying reviews. That’s the only way they could be ranked above Ludex. I really like the interface how clean it is and the portfolio sorting abilities. Keep delivering cutting edge tech. Look forward to seeing the next update.

Ludex is so much faster than any other card scanner. Other apps take much longer and require photos of the front and back of the card. With Ludex, you only need to take a photo of the front of the card. Excited for what's coming. Hockey season is only a few weeks away.

I started LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG because I was using the COLLX app and it completely lost my entire collection!!!! I refused to re-enter every card in that app, and could not get support to help get it back! LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG identifies amazingly fast and gives up to date prices ranges! Definitely recommend LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG over any others so far!! Will update if any issues arise but so far…. A+++++!!!!!

I always thought twice about these card scanner apps and products but ludex nail LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG! I was hustling hard on ebay for a few years and with work 11 hours a day and a pregnant wife I just started feeling like all the time to list on ebay was just draining, but im a critic especially in the card world and hobby a great love of mine all my life and im saying this is the best thing to happen for me and hustling and getting back to business with the thousands of cards i have to sell!! I absolutely love it and went with the pro membership and literally it just goes right to ebay in seconds and all the stuff is filled out and do ur shipping and if u auctioning or buying now!! Listen when i say if u got card tons of cards you can get 1-10$ this the way to go 💯

I just downloaded LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG yesterday and they have many videos to see what’s in the card world they also help me determine how much my card collection I have been collecting for years and when I scanned all some of my cards it gave accurate prices I think this is a website that everybody should download if they collect any cards Pokémon, baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer, and many more

I know that LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG wants you to buy there product and gives you limited portfolio slots but i wanted to see if i could make a few dollars off of my old pokemon cards and made $116.i dont need to say more- LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is a lifesaver and recommend to everyone.

4.5 stars because I only have one problem.
I’m so grateful for LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG, as I need to go through at least 10k cards. I’m about 1,500 in and it’s only taken me like 5 hours. This is significantly easier than searching online for each card individually.
Every once in a while It can’t find a card, which I don’t mind, because it’s only happened like 5 times most so far.
The issue I have is that it doesn’t distinguish between signed and unsigned, so every once in a while It’ll tell me a card is worth 10-20 times as much as it is, because somebody recently sold a signed copy. When a price seems unrealistic, I just click the shop button and check on eBay, and I can easily double check the prices, which is very handy.
Other than that, I love it. <3

I am new to card collecting, so I appreciate the ease of LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG. Helps me keep track of my collection and the cost of the cards if I choose to sell in the future. So far, LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG has had no problem identifying and pricing all of my cards within seconds. Great tool for hobbyists!

For a beta version, LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is incredible. The way it is able to scan parallels and recognize them is very impressive. I understand they are still in early versions of their technology so I understand the misses and the updates that are soon to come.

LUDEXSportsCardScannerTCG is so good it was getting every card right and is so much better than any of the other scanning apps. The New EBay prices are so clutch when trying to buy or sell on the move.

When cards aren’t recognized, we’re kind of stuck having to remember to come back to Ludex and take a picture later. I forget which card. Is there a way to keep an unrecognized card inventory that will occasionally check with the database when new cards have been added?

I tried all the other apps and after really poor experiences, I decided to delete all the other apps and stick with Ludex because I get unlimited scans and it’s by far the most accurate capturing my cards. I’ve tested the eBay feature and thought it was really convenient. I love that it tracks my card prices daily and the new discover section keeps me up to date on trending sold players. App keeps getting better and better!
