What is this for?

I was told to download this to help in doing my job, but it’s a buggy mess.
Can’t see what you’re typing at login, the app force closed about 6 times when I tapped on Area Guide, and even after getting it to work, it’s just a bunch of pictures labeled “Map” (redirects to google maps) or “City Overview” (which doesn’t do anything when you tap on it),the calendar displays about a week or two of each month with a giant black space in the middle (the days do light up when you tap on one).
Seems like my choice of dark mode on iOS doesn’t play nicely with the app. On top of that, it scarcely looks like the screenshots that are provided in the training for the app. Is this app being actively worked on/tested/updated?
