App won’t load, can’t get on online either.. download the icon, but won’t open

The app is requesting an update but it will not update. It wants a password but, I don’t know what it is and it will not let me reset.

App won’t work! Main screen shows. Start is highlighted so click and goes to next page. Where shows screen but can’t click on anything. Presume suppose to be able to click on welcome but can’t click on it? Thanks

USGA iPhone Issues and Solutions

Here are some helpful workarounds that should work whenever USGA app keeps crashing or doesn't work as expected on your iPhone 14, 13,12,10,8,7,6, SE,XS,XR.

How to fix USGA app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the USGA app on iPhone
Update USGA app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall USGA iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix USGA on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve USGA network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, Goto "Settings" » "General" » "Reset" » "Reset Network Settings".
2. Enter your device passcode. Then confirm "Reset Network Settings".

Turn off your VPN:
1. Goto "Settings" » "General" » "VPN".

USGA Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix USGA not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent USGA app issues:

Force Stop the USGA App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click USGA app. » click "Force Stop".

Update USGA to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear USGA App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "USGA app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch USGA.

Fix USGA unable to contact server/ USGA internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click USGA » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got USGA » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch USGA on android.
