I am not sure who is reviewing USGA but for me this is poorly done all the way around. There are several great golf tournament apps but this isn’t one of them and they could really have taken a few tips from them.

The scoring view, player view, streaming, ah who am I kidding it all needs to be done better just try again.

There’s no way people should be double digits under par in the U.S. Open and the cut being +2 people at +3 could have won the tournament
There is no reason why a long hitter should benefit over a more talented golfer. The back -450 yards longer than the front nine give me a break you pick the soft course and it illuminates half of the field, harder courses bring out the better players
It’s time for something in the middle of the country as well it’s east coast west coast and why would you not start the Tee Times earlier as you cut the field by 2/3 who is the ridiculous +2 they should’ve been taking off 730 Pacific time that would’ve been 1030 on the East Coast even if you have why would you have the broadcast going into? Of Sunday night use this is not the Super Bowl. Most hideous representation of the U.S. Open ever

It literally doesn’t work. Downloaded it for the US Open and USGA doesn’t work. When you open it it says “oops, something went wrong” and it’s unusable. I’ve deleted it and redownloaded it several times. Still doesn’t work.

Downloaded USGA to keep up with the US Open. After downloading, you go through the initial selections, it defaults to ‘Oooops something went wrong’ then USGA is locked and can’t do jack with it. Deleted and downloaded 5 or more times, same result.

Worthless since one can’t do anything. Would give it a negative 5 stars if could.

Congrats to those who were able to get it to work.

Terrible customer service for online shopping products. On hold twice for 22 and 28 minutes disconnected first time and second person was very helpful. Now they send me that replacement item that was broken during shipping is not available ask to response to email. They it sent back unmonitored email address. Terrible.

Downloaded USGA so I could get my tickets for the Womens US Open - which worked.
However, the leaderboard (“scoring”) is missing for the current Men’s US Open. The picture in USGA Store shows “scoring” where my app has “shop”. Not in the extra tab either.

I’m sure USGA is great but whenever I click on a this app link in safari it opens USGA and asks me to update to the latest version even though I updated it several weeks ago. After I open USGA it shows the info is only related to the latest this app championship.. ( I’m trying to say view the rules of golf but it’s now impossible on my phone and can only be done one a laptop) happy to document the steps to help resolve the issue.

USGA keeps telling me to update but when I try there’s no update in USGA Store says I’m good. Tried to play their fantasy flip I get a prompt for update, again no update avail does it even work for anyone on iPhone. I checked setting turned off VPN still nothing works turned off phone restarted I’ve tried it all. Just plain frustrating.

For me, I am working with our tickets and transferring them for the US Open. The back button doesn’t work, so I get stuck and have to close USGA out. My friend can’t get it to go back, and when he closes USGA and restarts, it takes him back to the same place, so he’s in an endless loop.

For some reason the back button is faulty.

It is not very user friendly. Hard to negotiate. Trying to find committee chair and assignments.

I originally I did not use my email as my login and now my login is all goofed and is very hard to login. It does not accept my password so I have to go I have to go to forgot password. It then sends a verification. Once I enter that it says email was verified but says password and email do not match ultimately it let’s me in. It does not ask or allow me to change my password. Life should not be this difficult.

Try to catch each major tourne. Each time I open one of the major apps I fully expect an experience the Masters App. Full coverage of the entire 4 day tourney. Love stream from first tee to last group holing out. And as always I’m thoroughly disappointed. Why even bother with an app if all you’re going to do is force people to a tv affiliate. this app and PGA need to contact the Masters and learn how to stream a golf tourney the proper way!!

Got USGA to watch some of the 2024 US Open. Within 5 minutes of starting the stream my phone is hot-hot to the touch and I was shown a warning that my phone won’t continue charging until the temperature returns to normal.
Shutdown the stream for a while and the temp drops back down. Then turned the stream back on and it’s up again.
This is ~4 month old iPhone 15 Pro.

Each time I try and open USGA it requires me to go to App Store to update. Every…single…time. Lame.

Once USGA is up and running it is fine, not great, but fine. You have to work to get up-to-date scores…constant refresh. There could be better stats and views of shots.

I don’t understand why this is so hard. The Masters seems to have it figured out. Their app is great. I can watch every swing of every player. It can’t just be a money issue. The this app has 51 weeks to clean USGA up of all bugs and UI issues. What are the chances they do? They probably won’t even look at it until next June.

Yep it’s OK the shot trackers OK it’s just OK you can’t see every shot from every player like the masters app by far the best golf app out there is still by far the masters app and the this app 2 to 3 stars out of five there’s a review done

Great app but needs to have an auto refresh function. If there is a long list like stoke play at the US Amateur going all the way back to the top to refresh takes time and then makes one have to find their spot again.

The information in USGA is very good but every single time I try to use it tells me an update is needed, takes me to USGA Store, indicates already have the most recent updates. Moving to other apps that just let me look at scoring.

We like following groups. However we only received a map on the last day. Aside from that and the fact that I was dumped out of a cart and on to my arm, which was already in a sling.

This was a 49th wedding anniversary gift from my husband. We love the women US OPEN. I want to add how nice the volunteers were all the volunteers, even the guy who took the turn too fast and sent me flying out of the cart.

It’s a shame you can’t watch the live broadcast on USGA /internet. You can on The Masters—even without a cable operator!!—which is why The Masters is superior tournament!

Got an email to enter “US Open Sweepstakes brought to you by Lexus” which shows pictures of the US Open trophy and Payne Stewart statue.

After clicking on the link in the email it took me to an entry form for name and email submission. Hit enter button and it says you are entered in the 2024 WOMEN’s US Open!! Don’t get me wrong I love to watch all golf but initial email content led me and probably others thinking they were entering the MEN’S 2024 US OPEN at Pinehurst!! Was this a misdirected sweepstakes link or was it just for the 2024 Women’s US Open?

Been using the new this app app through the US Open so far, it’s really made the live experience better. Live stats and alerts were perfect for keeping up with my favorite players while I was on other parts of the course. The video highlights and shot tracing were handy for catching up quick - and the map was a lifesaver for finding my way around to watch the players. Would’ve been totally lost without it. Solid app!

Very informative . I liked the coverage of the groupings. You can scan for your favorite golfer, current scoring and tee times. I really enjoy the layout details of every hole on the course

we watch a lot of PGA tournaments and this is by far a much improved TV coverage and internet scoring update. the new live improvement is wonderful… excellent effort

EVERY time I logged on it said to
update app. Didn’t matter, it never updated so I had to update it each time. Ask The Masters how to run an app.
