I really wish I could love these products because I love Jen and the products are gorgeous, however, there just isn’t much smell in my home like others talk about. I live in Colorado, so maybe it’s the dry climate, but you cannot smell the candles nor diffusers unless you put your nose in them. I have tried putting them in smaller rooms and gifted them to family members also in Colorado who have all had the same experience. I have asked others who live in this area and have purchased the candles and they also had the same experience. I really wish the smell worked more in this climate as the candle scents are great, the packaging is beautiful, and I would love to support this business.

Ordered these candles initially back in 2022 and loved them! I re-ordered more in 2023 (influencer release scents I loved!) and was extremely disappointed. The candle I lit first let off so much black smoke/soot it covered things all over my house, even on the second floor when the candle was burnt on the first floor. This really bothered me as it covered my baby’s bottles that were out air drying, got soot in her nose from breathing it, covered things in our bathroom, etc. it. Got. Everywhere. Most disappointing though was that the customer service reply was that soot is normal and to trim wick. I wasn’t looking for money or even a replacement, just some apology or concern over the quality of the product but didn’t receive anything of the sort. Unfortunately won’t be a customer any more even though I love the scents from an influencer release.

I placed an order 7/30. During the order process it was never mentioned that this order, which contained the new car scents (among several other items) would not ship until 8/14 until I received my order confirmation email. On 8/14 I received an email saying my shipment was delayed until 8/23. It’s now 8/25 and I still haven’t received an email confirming shipment of my order. At this point it will be about 1 month from order to arrival of product, which in this day and age is simply too long. I’ve already had to pay my credit card bill and have no product to show for it. Probably not going to support this business any longer when I can go to the store and get a candle same day.

I placed a $178 order for moms day gifts that was “guaranteed” delivered before Mother’s Day as advertised on stories and its 5pm on the day before mothers day and no order. I reached out at the beginning of the week to customer service explaining the situation and got like no help. I also don’t have extra money to go buy more gifts nor do I have the time because I myself work full time and have 3 children to take care of. Spending money on this kind of thing really is a luxury for those of us that are normal middle class folks and I’m saddened that I have been let down.

This product is wonderful however when I placed two separate orders, at separate addresses, they were not shipped correctly. I ordered a Mother’s Day set, one for each of my daughters, they shipped all items to one address. There are the two different addresses clearly listed on my account. I tried to resolve the issue several times with Jessica, however she refuses to rectify the situation so I will be returning my $300 order. It’s a shame that such a quality product has such a poor service representative in Jessica.

I could not wait to get my hands on this bundle after reading so many rave reviews on the captivating scent and it’s longevity. The scent is lovely but wears off very quickly. I’ve used the room spray and it lasts for maybe 30 minutes? The diffuser is in our great room and it can only be detected in just that room if you get close enough. I was hoping for the same results on the perfume like other reviews mentioned (being stopped by complete strangers, etc.) but haven’t experienced that. I haven’t burned the candle yet, but really hoping it yields differently. Did something happen during production after the demand was higher to alter the quality? I might try a different scent to see if maybe it produces a stronger aroma. Regardless, love Jenn Reed and what she stands for ☺️

I purchased 4 candles, and they do smell great. They are packaged well and the containers themselves are great. I had to go to the website to see what I wanted to purchase before ordering in LifeinLilac (I had incentive with a coupon in LifeinLilac only, but the website has ratings and suggestions that LifeinLilac does not). LifeinLilac also notifies me way too often. I don’t buy expensive candles multiple times a week. But here’s why I’m deleting LifeinLilac and will never purchase a candle again: even after trimming the wick super short, I have black soot everywhere. Even in a room away, my toilet was completely covered in black. My tile, my tub, the mirrors. I’ve never had a candle produce soot like this. I’ve only burned a quarter of the way down, and I’m looking to dump my other candles. I just can’t believe it’s safe to breathe when it creates soot like this. And creates such a mess for me to clean!

I purchased a candle and car fresheners on 7/30. I thought I would be receiving them in 10-12 days. Wrong. When asked where my order was I was told the the car scents wouldn’t be shipped until 8/14. I was never told that this product wasn’t available until then. I wouldn’t have bought it as this was going to be a gift. On 8/14 I received another email saying that my order will be shipped by 8/24. Had I known I wouldn’t get my product until a month after I ordered it I would have never purchased it. I’m still waiting as of 8/21. I’m frustrated and wish I could review the actual product. I had high hopes for this company but it is disappointing.

I love watching you on social media daily. I always wanted to order your candles. But as a single mom I never buy myself anything. So your New Years Eve story is what sold me. I order the double set for me and my bestie. I love the smell. But I was not impress by all the wax all around the glass. The candle also was not stuck to the bottom.
It looked kinda sloppy, to be honest. I have not lighted yet. I light new candles on the first day of the New Year. I make a wish for the new year, I hope it will bring me what I need in life. I will keep you still in mind to order again in the future.

I bought a candle & diffuser for my moms 78th birthday. I asked for a note be included as it as a gift from my siblings and myself.
My mom received the candle and loved the way it packaged, but called to ask me if I sent her a bday gift because there was no note inside. She couldn’t figure out to get the top off the diffuser and wasn’t sure if she should trim wick on candle prior to burning. She mentioned there were no instructions at all in box about candle care.
I hope she loves them as it was a VERY expensive candle & diffuser-she hasn’t really used either yet. I do wish there had been the note included with the gift along with some sort of material about how to use candles & diffuser.
I am disappointed that she had no clue who gave her the gift until I told her.
My mom is 78 yrs old so she would never think to go to a website to find any instructions on use.

I am a HUGE fan of Jen and all that she does so I also jumped at the chance of getting one of her candle combos. I’m a total crazy candle lady 🤷🏻♀️ and have learned the how to “love” one as well as how to correctly take care of a candle. Sadly I have worked on this candle tunneling issue (fyi the capri candle can do the same occasionally) all week and it has not fixed the issue. I’m SO SAD!! I LOVE the new fragrance, BURNING ROMANCE, but am basically losing 1/3 to 1/2 of the possible candle usage. Seriously, SO SAD! Anyway, just what I have experienced. Tomorrow I will be trying the diffuser/reeds so wish me luck! Fingers Crossed 🤞🏼

I’ve ordered 5 LIL candles and have a few thoughts… in general these are great. Jar is pretty, burns evenly and smells are very nice. I do think they burn rather fast which, for the price $$$$, is a bit of a bummer. I notice that some scents (Wonderful & Worthy, Always Welcome, Heartthrob) will fill my entire house when I burn them ❤️, but Fall is much more subtle and I can barely smell unless i’m same room.
. Not sure if that’s an inconsistency in production or just the scent? Giving 3 stars due to that and price.

Love the scents and different options to have them in my home and car. I want to mention that the car disc damaged my dash though. I had one next to my dash display and just noticed perfect circles where I had them. It’s very strange and I’m not sure how it would even have happened, but it’s almost like it melted the plastic. It’s not a residue that can be wiped or scraped off…it’s rippled like it was melted.

I am a huge LIL fan so I was super excited to get the new Pretty Woman diffuser. Although the scent is nice and the size is great, I can barely smell this scent unless I am right next to it. I have another diffuser in the scent of Always Welcome and it fills ANY room no problem! Not sure if this is a bad batch, like a few other reviews have wondered as well. I will still be buying these diffusers because I love them, but for the price, I’m expecting all scents to fill the room.

I bought a handful of candles and reed diffusers and every single one smells truly incredible. The packaging was gorgeous nothing arrived broken but my wonderful and worthy candle will not stay lit. The wick was off centered and even though I followed the directions for the best burn and I’ve tried EVERYTHING it just won’t stay lit.

My favorite scent is by far Welcome Home! Life in Bloom is in 2nd place. I know some love Heart Throb, it’s not for me and I wouldn’t buy it again. Wonderful & Worthy is a good scent, just not at the top for me. I wish customers were notified that prices were going to increase. I would have placed a bigger order when I placed an order right before the prices increased. I hope in the future that refills become available. 1.) This would help with cost and 2) would reduce the unused jars. There are only so many that you can reuse. My last suggestion is that I hope sample scents become available. These products aren’t cheap and so this would ensure that the candles/diffusers that are purchased are the scents we love. For those of us that have to watch our budgets, this would help when new scents are released that the candles and diffusers that are purchased are the scents the customer loves.

I can’t even count how many orders I’ve placed now lol! I cannot be without Heart Throb anything! I absolutely love the home fragrance spray, the diffuser & the roll on perfume! Every single time I wear the perfume I get stopped & asked what I’m wearing! That’s my chance to plug Life in Lilac!🥳💜💜 Jen- what you’ve created here & poured your blood, sweat & tears into is phenomenal! THANK YOU for creating these amazing fragrances! I have to say that everything I have bought from you has been a dream! I always get complements about how great my house smells. Even my teens bedrooms! (I have man cave diffusers inside their rooms.. lol) I’m currently using the Fall Fever candles and home spray in my leaving room and kitchen… and boy…. I can’t get enough! ❤️ Another thing… I received with the package the Soulmate lotion… I have to admit that I am beyond impressed with the scent and hydration of the product! I bought the holiday dreams candle and diffuser this past winter. SO. GOOD! I was instantly hooked and told all my friends. I’ve actually had the diffuser out until just recently when it was empty. (Lasted almost 6 months!)
Just got the pretty woman diffuser. I put it by my front door, the smell carried up the stares. It’s such a great scent. I can’t wait to get more. I love the diffusers because I don’t have to remember to light them for the scent. I need to get one for my office next!

I initially purchased candles thinking they were worth a shot. I normally wouldn’t buy scents I haven’t smelled in person. I was completely BLOWN AWAY! I loved them so much in fact that I purchased the diffuser for my classroom at school. We aren’t allowed to have open flames with children, so I cannot thank you enough for creating a way to have my favorite scent even at school!!! I teach middle school and the diffusers can mask even the stinkiest of kids!!!

Y’all. Your products are amazing! I can’t believe all you’ve done in just one year! From the candles, to the diffusers, to the ROLL ON PERFUMES?? It’s sending me. I want to try everything! Love the minis, and samplers! And don’t get me started on the FREE SHIPPING! Who does that?? Have you thought about offering a subscription service? (On candles OR diffusers) like a flat monthly rate, and a new scent delivered each month? Fall scents for fall, Christmas scents, spring scents, etc? I would TOTALLY be down for a diffuser option! I purchased Krista Hortons Malibu set as my first purchase from Life in Lilac. The scent is strong enough to fill the area, but not overwhelming. No perfume smells which often give me a headache. As far as the diffuser, I have purchased countless, useless diffusers that don’t put off any scent or none that last more than a couple days. However, with this one I get a nice, subtle scent every time I walk by. Definitely going to be purchasing diffusers for each of my bathrooms and more candles in the future. So happy I bought two sets right away. Not only is the scent great, but they are also all esthetically pleasing. This white set goes in any space, but every set is very clean and simple which I appreciate!

I love your brand and have purchased candles previously happy to support you and also a lover off candles and beautiful decor. The previous candles although safe and clean compared to most on the market still were too strong and fragrant and sadly bothered my asthma. However,
I decided to try again because I LOVE fall and was hoping and determined to find a candle from your line I can keep in my home to enjoy (I shared the others that were to fragrant for me with some girlfriends) well I’m happy to report I just received my Fall Fever set and I am so happy the scent is so subtle and beautiful and perfect I’ve had the candle burning several hours and the diffuser all set up since I received them and my asthma is not bothered at all. I’m so excited and hoping the other fall scent works out the same way. Thank you for creating and sharing. For me the 3rd time was the charm 🙌

I've waited awhile to write an overall review of Lil products. I've pretty much purchased at least one product of every scent. Every candle is very fragrant, all the way until the last drop of wax! Although there are some I like less, there are NONE that are bad, which makes me feel like I can trust every new product and feel assured that when I purchase it, it'll be used! My favorite go-tos are wonderful and worthy, man cave and heart throb. I love that you can tell that time and thought has been poured into every jar! I only wish 2 things: that the boxes were labeled, because as my collection grows, it gets to be a pain to open every box to see what they are and, that they would offer reed replacements for the diffusers so that I can plug it back up and use it again later! Not sure I'll every buy another brand again! Awesome job, Jen!

So I bought 4 of the Always Welcome diffusers. I love the candles too but I’m terrible at blowing them out. So diffusers it is. I have 4 spread out through my house. My house is a good size. Anyways, after being on vacation for a week, when we pulled into the garage I could smell the diffusers. My husband asked what the smell was. Then my golden doodles ran out the door to greet us and they smelled like the diffusers too. Haha. They are the absolute best!!! I love them so much. And they last for 4 months at least!!

I bought 3 diffusers so my home could smell good during our upcoming showings and open house without having to worry about burning candles. I received Always Wecome, W&W, and Heart Throb this morning and set them out. I am a religious candle burner in almost every room and HOLY SMOKES this house has never smelled so good. So not to be dramatic but they have maybe changed my life. 🤪😍

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about these candles, Jen, or LiL!! I’ve never been a huge candle person. Don’t get me wrong, I love smell good items, especially for my home, but have always found that they never smell as good once I get them home, or they give me headaches. LiL has forever changed me! They smell as good as the day they arrive until the very last burn! I have 3, have gifted many and the feedback is them among all my friends and family (who mind all have very strong opinions). My favorite part?! The love notes on each one. They just lift guy up and wrap you in a hug on the days you need it most! Thank you Jen, for creating candles that have changed my life. In one whiff I instantly become a better mom, fiancé, daughter, friend, and woman. I cannot wait to get Forever in Bloom and gift them to my girls on my wedding day in September!! Got my fall box today within days of the launch and couldn’t wait to smell all of them. I immediately opened after hours and put it in my primary bathroom. Then I put fall fever in my kitchen. I haven’t lit any of them but walked into my house tonight after three hours away and my house smelled amazing. Can’t wait to see what my house smells like after lighting one of them!!

I’ve been waiting so long to buy this because we’ll I quit my job of 12 years to stay home with my babies. My amazing family spoiled me with the heart throb diffuser and HUBBA HUBBA! It smells incredible. Every time I turn the corner my nose is like oh baby that smells good. Thank you for this amazing product. LOVE the smell. Only thing for our home is that I need to have a couple diffusers & candles going. The smell doesn’t carry well in our house. I currently have a diffuser and a candle. Unless we are near it, you can’t smell it. Not sure if my candle is defective, but, I burn it for hours on end and only one side has melted. I have several inches of wax only on one side. Will definitely purchase again, just more. ☺️

We last minute decided to have a Super Bowl party and my husband suggested I order a couple defusers. I ordered four products hoping they would be here within the week, but wasn’t hopeful. I was shocked when they showed up two days later! My husband is so sensitive to any candle, usually gets a headache pretty quick and these candles do not so that!

I mentioned in a review that my Reed diffuser didn’t live up to the hype everyone was raving about. Within 48 hours I had an email offering to send me a new one. These candles! Man, from the packaging to the scents, I’m completely obsessed. They smell so good and I love coming home and lighting it every day! My son, steals them from the living room and takes them to his, so you know they’re really that good! Love love love them! If u don’t own these candles then ur missing out! They’re not only beautiful in the gold and lilac color-but they smell divine and make the room smell amazing! They are the real deal.. I never thought I would ever find candles that even compared to my Capri blue - but these are it!! I have never been able to have candles in my house because they caused my husbands eyes to water and gave him a headache. I started with the diffuser testing his reaction. No headache or allergy symptoms!! The house smells like heaven. Now I will order the candle because I believe it will not bother him either. Thank You!!!

Lilacs are my favorite flower as I love the purple color they are, scent of them and what they look like. This company was definitely going to be my favorite because it involved lilacs.

I was skeptical because buying candles online is risky. But these DID NOT disappoint! I have been burning Always Welcome and it’s so good! The scent lasts even without me burning the candle. It’s so strong, in the best way, that I could smell it from outside my house! I will never buy any other brand than LIL!
I purchased a Man Cave bundle. Put the diffuser in my office on Friday afternoon, left for the weekend, and when I came back on Monday I couldn't even smell it. It smells good up close, but the diffuser really lacks oomph! The smell is good. My husband used the roller before church one Sunday. After church I reminded him that I bought it for him and he should have worn it. He said he did. I never even smelled it on him. Not super impressed. Maybe I had too high expectations since I really did want to support Jen because she seems very honest and forthcoming about things on Insta. Most likely wont be purchasing any other scents due to the lackluster experience with Man Cave.
