MusicMate has completely crossed the line. In order to encourage more user engagement, it has started sending frequent notifications featuring portraits of various female users. It no longer satisfies the purpose of being a music social app and seems to be transforming into a casual dating platform (if that's the case, why not use Tinder or Grindr?). Additionally, its design and logic are poorly executed, with many bugs left unaddressed. I have serious doubts about the capabilities of the this app team.

This isn’t supposed to be a casual dating app and yet these developers are trying hard to make it one. Just let it be an app for checking out what people are listening nearby. There is zero need to add direct messaging and filtering girls/boys on the map. Direct messaging will simply make way for spam messages in my inbox so no thanks. Instagram integration isn’t a good idea either but not too big of an issue.

Safety risk. Shows what house/town you live in. Need a more vague location feature. Edit (4/15/24): It shows me directly where I am. I'm not seeing an offset feature. I'm forced to be in Private Mode.

“His song cannot be played in your area” error pops up wherever the listeners located in the universe.

Music mate based on Apple Music let you know who listening the same song like you. And nearby..

经常连不上Spotify

Just upgraded today. Like to see a search box to browse different locations. Also browse and search by genres. Also please add the ability to save songs to spotify and youtube playlist. Wikipedia would be great to have info about current song playing. I like to hear from you in your comments about my suggestion.
