Go Fly for DJI Drones Reviews

I just got this new iPhone and all its awesome stuff in it. I am new to this iPhone so I’m still finding out all its features. Don’t get me wrong. It’s awesome. I just don’t understand a lot of what it has and how to get to them when I need them. I would not give it up for anything in this world. Thank you so very much.

This is NOT the official app that is required to run the DJI brand drones!!
It is deceptive and makes it seem like GoFly can do everything the official app can but it can’t.
AND it will try to get you to sign up for a pay service that you don’t need at all.
BOTTOM LINE: your DJI drone will not function with GoFly. You need to download the official ‘DJI GO’ app not this imposter app.
This misleading product cost me several hours of troubleshooting my device trying to get it started!!

Will not let me give zero stars. This is not an official DJI app. While it does connect to your drone, GoFly wants you to upgrade to a pay version. Beware of pop-ups at the screen bottom. Looks like what you need, says your credit card will not be charged, but it charged me. BEWARE

While I love the drone. Customer service is nonexistent. I have called 5 times sent an email and several messages on GoFly chat feature absolutely no response. If you have a problem with the drone or the service it looks they don’t respond.

I used the official DJI app, which is good but it doesn’t give you the ability to set GPS locations. I thought I read that GoFly did but it doesn’t. If it does I can’t figure out how. All the manual does is show you how to connect. I see no advantage to GoFly.

This game doesn’t even connect to it and it doesn’t work. It is not working. It’s just sad because you made us that is supposed to work but you’re supposed to make it work because you’re the creators.

Like so many others, I downloaded this by mistake and then realized what i did. I went for the free trial version, then realized what i did and cancelled. In the process of cancelling it made a purchase. Very deceptive how this happened. apple should pull GoFly!

I accidentally tried to download the three day trial version. I realize this is the wrong app and went to cancel but each time you click to cancel the subscription it will not allow you. Do not download GoFly

Do not download GoFly. Pay attention to reviews! It is not the official app for DJI drones like others. I spent hours, trying to figure my drone out before I realized that I had downloaded the wrong app DJI fly app is flawless. This should not pop up before the official app on Apple’s App Store.

It works but very limited

I have a dji spark drone. The application substitutes a button with an annual subscription and does not allow you to cancel the payment. Now I have an annual subscription to an app that doesn't have my drone.

I tried to submit 2 different credit card numbers. Both were hit with fraud alerts for two different things. Do not use

Ui is laggy and buttons are not responsive.

As a new drone user learning without a manual I thought I had to subscribe to this to fly my drone. Not true. Drone comes with software. I felt totally PT Barnum here. Totally misleading. I want my money back. How do I get it?

All I did was open GoFly to check it out and I got charged $69 for an annual subscription. Do not give these thieves a chance to rip you off.

I didn’t notice that it automatically git me into a subscription when I clicked trial. 3 day trial and a $14/month subscription or whatever. Use DJI’s official app.

The actual DJI app offers everything this does expect the actual app is free. Don’t waste your time or money on this.

Just try this with my mini SE. The program works, but none of the features will work with the mini SE. And the land button is not the same as the go home button. It literally lands right where it’s at instead of going back to the Home point. Almost sit mine in a tree. the way point function and none of the other extra functions worked with the mini SE. If they ever update GoFly to include the functions with the mini SE I will be all about using GoFly but for now the DJI fly app is better. I was looking for something with some added features, and didn’t find them here. Maybe they will update GoFly soon to include the features for the mini SE.

Despite what it says in the description, GoFly is not compatible with the mini 2 (and I would assume not the mini 1 either since that was before the 2). Sure you can see the camera feed as you fly but you can’t do waypoints and the camera settings have to be done in dji fly anyway, so might as well stick to dji fly.
The developers need to remove the models from their lost that are not compatible.

Reading GoFly description made it sound like GoFly would work with my Air 2s drone. It will not. Tried to request a refund from company and support won’t let me send the message to connect with them. What a scam!

I downloaded and tried to cancel within the 3 days and couldn’t. Don’t download GoFly!! I tried to get my money back and they wouldn’t respond!!

I cant believe I had to pay what I paid for GoFly, after already paying well over a thousand dollars for my drone.

Can’t find anything I’m looking for, can’t do anything I could on previous versions. Going the wrong direction.

The scam reviews are true. The developers of GoFly are misleading people and they know it despite the copy/past disclaimer excuse. GoFly is limited in what it can do even with a subscription. It offers nothing of value over the official DJI Fly app. To make matters worse, they make it difficult to get a refund. Plan on calling your bank to reverse the charges. Apple, if you are listening, please remove GoFly from your store. This is a scam.

I like the DJI Fly apps ability to change the speed of the controller. Slow mode is great for beginners. The faster modes are good for advanced users! I payed for the lifetime use. I hope it can be better developed in my lifetime 😎

Once I paid for subscription now it’s always a problem to fly. Firmware problems. Before I gave all my money flew every time. Is there someone I can contact?

GoFly is not from DJI. The real DJI app is free. GoFly tries to get you to pay for a useless app that probably won’t even work with your drone. I don’t know why Apple allows deceptive apps like this to be sold. If you bought it by mistake, ask Apple for a refund.

Absolutely awful. Won’t save the videos/photos. Dies with a full battery after 5 mins and it takes over a day to charge the batteries. While you are in the middle of recording content it asked you to review it??

I would not recommend GoFly to anybody unless you talk to a professional first and they specifically say this is GoFly for you so bad experiences is learning the hard way but here you go take it for me. This is not something you want to download unless you talk to somebody about it descriptively first!

All I can say is that the DJI mavic pro is old but still a beast

Finally a drone app that lets me take advantage of some great features. I have had the opportunity to test ride several and this is the first time that I feel confident enough to write a review.

I accidentally downloaded GoFly instead of the official one from the DJI website; when you go through to create an online account, it pushes you to this sign up for this movie streaming service. I signed up in a hurry before I thought about it and ended up canceling my credit card because besides that I started getting hit with one dollar charges. I could not find a way around not being able to create an account for my drone ;my bad for signing up and not taking the time to really look at GoFly. download the DJI Fly app with the DJI logo on it.

I have now lost all access to quick shots. And I cannot do a firmware upgrade. They are not staffing their support services, so chat doesn’t work. And I still have not received an email back when inquiring about all of the problems GoFly has.

GoFly changed and removed features of my drone and ended up putting adds in mid flight causing me to crash and had lights Off at night because GoFly needs to be paid 90USD a year worse app ever
