I had the old app. When they changed to the pre load plus. You can no longer transfer mo yea from your debit card without paying a processing fee which is stupid seeing how you are shopping at Lowe’s anyway.
I have my own fence and deck company and do a lot of business at Lowe’s. I tried to purchase some materials for a job and went to transfer the money for the purchase ( used linked bank account to avoid processing fees ) but it takes 3-5 days for the transfer to complete. How am I suppose to know how much to transfer until I get a total at checkout. The. When I get the total I have to wait 3-5 days for it to go through. I am not happy with the new app and will be making a decision on my future spending if it’s like this.
NOT TO MENTION the money I had on the old account they changed and I can’t even access it because I use the digital card. When I call customer support all I get is a recording. Not happy at all.
Thanks Lowe’s for screwing up a good thing just so you can get more money from me than what it costs for the actual material.
So it’s either wait for the mo way transfer and materials or pay extra to transfer money.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a card. I think these guys are really crooks. They blocked my account even though I had a positive balance. They blocked me because I tried one to many times to add money to their card on my account. Now to unblock my account they want me to upload bank statements and copies of my drivers license front and back. You will regret doing business with this company. It is not worth the 5% discount you get from Lowes for using this.

This app is so slow loading that it constantly times me out. Also it took me 5 hours trying to pay for my customers kitchen and counters. Standing at the til next to automatic doors constantly opening and closing for 5 hours because of this app and because Lowe’s programming still operates on D.O.S. Don’t buy a kitchen at Lowe’s or use this card if your time is valuable to you. BY FAR THE WORST RETAIL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. Won’t be buying a pencil, nevermind a kitchen at Lowe’s again until I am compensated for this experience.
