9 months agoI downloaded planty yesterday and it prompted me to set up a payment system despite advertising as free. After reviewing the app I decided it wasn’t what I had hoped for… I didn’t see any way to cancel a subscription and deleted the app. Does deleting the app automatically cancel the free trial? If not how do I cancel so I’m not charged? Thank you

1 year agoI had used your app quite a bit in the past and I really liked it but today I just paid for subscription and the app is not working. I keep getting the error message “ Ups! Something went wrong Connection Error” but there is nothing wrong with my wifi nor my service provider connection. All other apps are working on all devices. Please assist or please tell me what you need from me to apply a refund. Thank you 🙏

1 year agoI’ve used Planty just one once. I got the information I wanted. But now I have no further use for the app. Although I am fine with the initial charge of $ 7.00 I now want to opt out. Please do not charge my credit card again.

Only partially satisfied
As a tentative and frequently unsuccessful plant owner, I wanted to be able to identify, catalogue and set a watering/plant food schedule to hopefully help my plants thrive. I thought this app sounded perfect— free, user-friendly and informative. It is only useful for plants with which I’m already familiar though. The Planty photo identifier feature did not recognize/identify any of my plants. I tried taking a photo of each plant directly through the app and I tried uploading photos to the app. NOPE! Message received: “Hmmm, looks like we’ll have to get our plant detectives on this” and then just searching, searching, searching and never identifying. Then it offers me the chance to scan through its long list of catalogued plants many that look similar due to the tiny pictures. That’s not helpful because the whole point is I need assistance figuring out what some of the plants are and the best way to care for them. Le sigh. . . 🥺

Great but needs some updates
This is a free app, so my comments are not necessarily complaints LOL I LOVE the interface and design, it’s super cute, and I love the watering reminders BUT I do not see where you can identify diseases or check for lighting. This might be something they are working on, but it shouldn’t be in the description if it’s not actually on the app. Please let me know if this is in the works or if I am just missing it. Also look forward to there being a larger plant inventory, which I know takes time. Would you like us to email support with plant name requests to add to the inventory? Thank you for any feedback. You’ve done a great job so far, but I know it takes time to develop everything at once!

So far, so good, but sometimes, it isn’t right!
I’m delighted with the app. I’ve tried several others and I haven’t been able to really like and enjoy as much as this one. But sometimes, when I take a pic in the app, it gives me a different plant identification. Maybe the database it’s not vast. I would say please work on that for accuracy. Otherwise, I’m enjoy it! Thank you! ❤️✌🏽☀️
