9.99 a month. Not disclosed prior to download

Deceptive and useless app. Unintuitive and hard to use. Even if you unlock all the functionality it still can’t get anything done. Literally worse than useless. Avoid.

This subscription is outrageously expensive for something that iOS now does for free. You can just go into the Files app and “long press” (hold your finger down) and tap “Scan Documents” from the menu to get a PDF from your camera… that is probably better than what PDFScanner charges a subscription for.

Terrible app wants you to pay for basic features literally is useless without paying. Definitely is taking reviews just useless overall like all the people that made it.

I have been trying to cancel this subscription for 3 months & it’s still showing up that I owe money it’s stopping me from updating the other apps on my phone

I just wanted to scan a couple of papers, but no, I have to pay an outrageous amount of money to export them. Not told beforehand. WHY NOT JUST MAKE PDFScanner COST MONEY?!?!?

Tricky user experience feels intentionally designed to make you opt into an overpriced subscription.

When I click on the document I can barely see what I scanned… the quality is terrible no matter what lighting I have my paperwork around. I cannot delete it after I clicked on it either. It freezes then I have to go to the main page. It has a select button which lets you click multiple documents; but when I delete the documents, it doesn’t actually delete! So I have to click the 3 dots under the document itself to get it deleted. Why so many options for only 1 to work? And if I pay for it does it give me better quality? I had another free trial for a different app and I’d just rather go back to that.

You can’t download you’re own pdf unless you pay, so here’s how to convert a set of photos to pdf with your phone and no additional apps:
1. Select all the photos you want in the pdf
2. Click the little export button, then scroll down and select print
3. Click the export button on the print page and it will save as a pdf 😃

It would be more convenient to use an app, but they all want you to join a whole subscription just to convert some files. Boooo 👎

PDFScanner is a scam. You do not need PDFScanner to convert images to PDF. Simply select the image scroll down. Select print select save us PDF on any iPhone or android device.

I didn't even care to keep the free trial for more than 24 hrs. I couldn't use it. Most of the save or share features were not available, I received 'We are approving this feature' a lot. I thought maybe your app was a beta app, but idk from what I saw even after going back to check, your apps ad makes it seem like your app has been thoroughly vetted and each feature shown is available to use if promised. Plus, PDFScanner itself is underwhelming. The bright white screen for those who don't like dark mode, and the bright blue are kinda conflicting. This is just me tho, I'm not an artist or interior designer. Besides the color though, theres nothing appealing or access to anything really.
