Free version only allows you to add a couple objects and only seat 8 guests which defeats the purpose of Seated . Not worth it
There’s no ability to work on seating charts from a desktop computer. So, you’re stuck trying to do everything from your phone. Also, the CSV import function is SO fussy. I spent way too much time reformatting a CSV by trial-and-error to try to get their system to accept it. I give up. Totally wasted money.
You have to pay to put more than 8 people in an event. Obviously any event that isn’t a child’s birthday party would have more than 8 people so it’s a pay to use app.
Turns out I can’t put more than 8 guests or 10 items on there without paying more money or subscribing.. does not help me at all since I need for a wedding seating chart so I have way more than 8 guests!
The idea is cute and Seated is useful. But it is CONSTANTLY GLITCHING and you have to move sloth speed otherwise it shutsdown.
Needs to be worked on.
I could only add 8 people for an event with the free version. Even if you could plan bigger events for free or a lower cost then the plans they offered, Seated itself is not quick to use or operate. A tutorial would be helpful.
I wish that there were pre-populated popular venues with known obstacles like columns and doors as well as dimensions.

I organized a fashion show and needed an app to quickly lay out our plan. Super quick and easy to use! I really like the export to PDF feature so I could share the plan with my team. Overall great experience using Seated :) I will be using it for my future events!
I used the this app app for a recent ladies luncheon and it made the planning so much easier! Especially last minute rsvp changes and seating requests! It’s customizable and I was also able to share final seating plan with venue to help last minute set up for place cards etc.
Love Seated! Makes my life SO much easier. I never knew how badly I needed this…. I recently used it to organize an outdoor event for 30 people. As we were outside, I loved the flexibility to account for trees and shaded areas in my floorpan. We had some last minute no-shows for lunch and Seated helped me visualize in real-time how to account for those changes so easily and quickly. I also love the export-to-PDF feature - super easy to share with my business partner and print out for our team. Will definitely be my go-to for future events.
