I installed his app and much to my surprise, could not use any of CameraDetector, although I selected to use the “non-pro” version. Is it really that much of a problem for you to NOT require me to have to “lend” my dollar digits to your financial account first? Well, I did just that and after my payment cleared, guess what happened?!? Guess what happened after CameraDetector cleared my access to start the free trial?

The very first thing CameraDetector did was display a message disclosing that CameraDetector was still in a developing mode and may error because it’s a “baby database “ so I should “help it out “ by frequent use…..yeah and then it detected that every single screw in my place was a potential hidden camera……

So this developer requires you to “show him the money” first, and then help his baby app grow by feeding it lots and lots of scans of wherever you are, thereby feeding YOU confusing distractions that you probably need considering you felt it necessary to download a hidden camera detector application, like I did. Thank you soooo much Developer, for schumcking out another run of the mill generic app. Sigh, I suppose it’s just too much to ask for an outstanding app that does its job as it promises to do for the simple pleasure of people helping people. What WAS the “non-pro” version anyway? 😆

So messed up they take advantage of people like this. Doesn't let you use it without paying monthly fee. This is supposed to be a safety app you shouldn't have to pay money for it to open. If you are in a life or death situation you will for sure die. Don't install if it's an emergency cause you will have to take 5 mins to make an account and put in your card info. Slimey Indians probably made this to spy on you

Unless you want ad after ad after ad go for for it, but CameraDetector is useless unless you pay for their $8.99 a week premium future like this is really ridiculous 1 star for the lack of design and stupidity put into how to run CameraDetector!

Was offered a free week trial - immediately charged could care less about being watched like who really cares at least there not taking my money I was just curious if it worked cause I’m a developer- may be helpful to some people I guess but I just want my money back

I want to cancel subscription but there is no easy way/link to do so. It says to cancel in account settings after purchase but there is not account settings in app. I tried to email customer service inside CameraDetector and it bounced back.

A waste of time, does not even recognize my phone camera or the camera on my laptop. Tried several cameras and even some trail cams. CameraDetector didn’t find anything no matter how close I got to the cameras. Made sure the cameras were functioning. CameraDetector seems be more designed to get you to sign up for things like people finder. Don’t waste your time. Disappointed in apple for allowing garbage like this through their App Store. Tired of all the false advertising going on for all these apps. Betting they are mostly designed to steal peoples information and money. These social media platforms need to do better about allowing these garbage apps and products on their platforms. Or they need to be held accountable for the false advertising their platforms are promoting. A class action seems in order to me

It said that my security camera is not a camera and that my door knob that has nothing ended except for a door knob is a camera which the door knob doesn’t have a camera in it I know it doesn’t. I put it in

No access to anything until you subscribe, and once you do it’s all fake. The network scan failed to identify my 3 WiFi security cameras (or anything else - every device is “Unknow”), the optical scanner just moves a line up and down on the live camera view, and the magnetic scanner shows random numbers along with a meter that always repeats the same pattern no matter what. P.S. Even a great app wouldn’t be able to most of what CameraDetector claims, except it could provably actually identify known models of cameras on your network.

The magnetic field locator works pretty good. The network scanner doesn’t really tell you anything other than how many devices are on your Netwerk. The camera finder. I’m pretty sure is a gimmick. I never found any cameras, but it made it look like there was some. I don’t know it’s probably worth trying for the three day free trial to see if it works for you or not but I will say it’s better than any other camera finder app I’ve had.

Easy to understand and it works. That's how you create a good app. It's all about keeping it simple and getting results. CameraDetector does just that.

This really helps that my employer put a chargeable light in my room I just found out that there is wireless camera built on that light

I like the deep scan and the details after very. Probably one of the best hidden camera apps

👍 Cam Finder works awesome! Two days ago I use it because I thought I saw a camera and it detected every camera. That was there. Even my mom’s phones camera. Awesome. Hidden camerra detector is very easy to use application. It can detect any camera in surroundings.

I've tried many other hidden camera apps basically they're the same, but this one is much more (I wouldn't say better) because they do detect. This one is a little more thorough. Must try and see for yourself
