The ones that seem real be the less attractive ones. They always try to get your to chat via WhatsApp and I get it most people from Africa don’t have unlimited internet phone plans or wifi like in the states. So they will subtly ask you for money. If you chat via WhatsApp they give you a name different than the name they used on this app. The names they use are like old white lady names. If you talk about flying them to you they always ask for the money to be sent to them so they can buy the ticket. NOPE! HIGE RED-FLAG. Also a red-flag you can’t message for free only if both people have paid the premium. This site is designed for scammers and the developers are scammers too! This site needs to be shut down and sued.

This site is so poor pls you people should stop it, why are you deactivating my accounts without me asking you?
Even when I try to sign up or reactivates my account back I can’t pls stop it or do something about that

You guys really need fix the joining requirements . It’s way too many fake profiles and photos .. I’ve seen Beyoncé twice , Kim K , Tv show host , and several Instagram models on your app a few times . It’s ridiculous ! AfroIntroductions is TRASH … SUPER TRASH!!! Don’t waste your money !! There’s NO Attractive women with Real photos ..

A bunch of men asking for money, they sale you a dream but you have to finance it. Don’t believe a word these people say

I have found that most of these people on here are fake or lie. Every profile that I responded to that was supposedly in the USA turned out to be in Ghana.

Am new on AfroIntroductions and am trying to subscribe for my premium membership but my card not going through…. Please help!

This site is just stupid. Why do they just keep deleting profiles anyhow it doesn’t make baby sense at all

I had AfroIntroductions for exactly a month. I wish messaging was free.

I would not recommend this site to anyone . I filled out my profile and it was immediately suspended . Then I receive a message requesting that I send a picture of my “official government identification”. No thanks .

I wanted to like AfroIntroductions but my profile was terminated immediately after setting it up. I do not feel comfortable with send pictures of my id with my address on it for a dating profile. I’ll pass.

I have an upgraded account. The insane amount of scammers on this site takes away from the experience. You can’t even trust anybody, so the few real accounts who message you get lost in the huge pile of scam profiles. Is AfroIntroductions even moderated? It’s unfortunate because it’s an otherwise good working app with a nice interface.

I have made payments my account has been charged yet my profile is not upgraded what is going on!!

Can’t do anything without purchasing a membership. Can’t even message your matches.

I keep getting “an error occurred” unknown when I try to send a message on the Afro application. What’s going on ? Can you guys help with that ? Thanks

An otherwise good App, but for the scammers. Be cautious of all accounts from Ghana. Nearly all are scams, especially those from "Sunyani". It's the same person behind those fake accounts. Never start a chat without an initial video call.

Super scammy that I can’t message without subscription…. Where’s the incentive? If I can’t see what AfroIntroductions has to offer without paying. Why would I pay at all??? There’s a reason most services offer a free trail.

There are some issues with connectivity from time to time but overall it works great. Lots of real profiles. Still some catfish of course.
