NowPlaying is a lot better than other music identifiers i’ve used, but it seems that after the 1.5 patch (and 1.51), NowPlaying crashes after it makes the first identification. iphone 12, ios 15.0.2
update: after updating ios to 15.6, NowPlaying no longer crashes

I was excited to try NowPlaying, thinking that when I listen my music collection I discover more info about the album and the songs and the artist. I guess they just know about music in English.

Limited information. Unlike Shazam, one can’t use NowPlaying to identify a song playing on the same device it’s running on.

This is an app that the makers clearly care about every line of code and every UI line they draw. It is beautifully crafted! It works similarly to Shazam to identify music but comes back with tons of well organized information on each track. Kudos to the devs for identifying a need and crafting something so useful and lovely to fulfill that need. Bravo!

NowPlaying is truly amazing. I found out about it through DailyTekk on YouTube. I must say, NowPlaying is just pure genius.

I had the original version and it worked well it just didn’t keep a library of the music you listened to. Now that the new update 1.3 came out, NowPlaying is everything I wished it was. All songs are kept under the History button. I’m glad they listen to the feedback they received. AAA+++

Lots of features crammed into this song identifier app. Really slick interface. Not sure if I would pay for the "gold" subscription personally, but it looks to be good value for the money if you use NowPlaying a lot.

App works as stated, finding and letting you know the song playing (just like Shazam), however, I downloaded NowPlaying to have use as a display for the music playing in the room. I cannot figure out how to get the full screen display shown in the snap shots.

App started out good but now crashes on every use. Never works when I click to get more information. I really want to like NowPlaying and might go back to liking it after the bugs are fixed on, hopefully, future updates.

Every time I search for a song just before it finds this song or right after it finds a song or write as it finds this song, it will brighten the screen up to all the way up brightness and I have my brightness really low if not all the way down to zero because this is a bug that you need to fix and my auto brightness on my phone is off so it’s clearly an option in NowPlaying that’s turned off by the fall and you can’t turn it off or it’s a bug because this is insane it should be happening. This has never happened before this needs to be fixed as soon as possible. I’m serious it’s very annoying and I am getting really fed up with NowPlaying because it hasn’t done this before you need to fix this bug.
