Captions are super inconsistent and not great. I signed up for a weekly subscription with a free trial. They charged me for a year! $50 I don't have for an app I used a couple times only and don’t want to use again. Nobody at customer service will help or respond. SAVE YOURSELF!

I thought I needed an app like this, I signed up for the trial period, didn't need it, canceled it before the trial ended,
I noticed a couple weeks later that they charged my credit card for $69. I canceled it again, they won’t give me my money back.
I’m not sure if it’s possible but they can check Subtitles . I used it about four times before I canceled.
Please give me a refund.

A couple of reasons why I wouldn’t suggest Subtitles is due to video quality dramatically going down when exporting and lack of being able to time the highlights of words. If this could be fixed, I would gladly change my review!

Hello, I bought auto ss program, I don't like the quality of work. When saving video quality is lost a lot, or if you save in other formats, the program crashes and does not save at all. Also the function of highlighting words in this app does not work. Please refund my money

Subtitles worked well. Now the undo button doesn’t undo your recent action, but just randomly deletes a subtitle and undoes your work.

When you export the video, there’s an ugly cross fade between each subtitle which was never there before. Overall bad app now. Cant believe I paid for this. Will update my review with a better app once I find one

I clicked the easy use subtitle and after waiting a while it finally loaded but only caught a third of what I said. When trying to add my own Subtitles closed on me. When I went to reload my app and click on my video to continue it was all gone. Even after shutting off Subtitles and reopening.
Do not recommend. Glad I was still in my 3 day trial but I canceled real fast!

Bought the paid version and it worked well. Surprised how fast it captioned my videos. Now, about 6 months later, it gets stuck and I get a message saying it’s in “que” and then a notification saying “these videos aren’t supported”. I have cancelled but no refund—Subtitles just sits there—won’t function. Pretty bad service + customer service. 😤😤😤😤😤

I needed an app for captions on a video quickly and this was the first one I found that could perform in the way that I was looking for. After having everything how I wanted - Subtitles required I do a "free trial" to download my work on to my phone. Now there is now way to cancel my free trial - total scam! All of the contact support links go to no where and I'm getting no response from email support. Buyer beware!

I’ve been a content creator for over a year, and have used Subtitles for my captions from day one. It was always a little high maintenance, but I learned to work around it and actually got pretty good at using it. But over the last couple of months, Subtitles became an absolute train wreck to use, and I made the change to Capcut and am so happy I did. I’ve done everything they say to do (delete and re-download), and it still does not work correctly. Spend your money elsewhere.

Horrible app. It is SOOO slow. It takes forever to generate this app. And even when this app are created, I still have to edit them, because Subtitles consistently makes errors in transcription. Words are often misspelled or completely misunderstood, leading to this app that don’t match the audio at all. It's frustrating to have to go back and correct so many mistakes, especially after waiting so long for the this app to generate in the first place. Subtitles promises efficiency, but it delivers the opposite. Not worth the time or money

It’s an awesome app, I paid for the subscription and it’s still worth it but you cannot exit Subtitles and come back to your project- or last on my iPhone 12 mini, this makes it really hard to work with.

Had to use it for a school project. I chose the cheapest plan with 3 days free trial, which was like 9 something. And I got charged 41 instead. Wouldn't keep it even if I needed it for more school work. Three stars only because it had a decent voice recognition and this app were shown in my video when I uploaded it, unlike with another app I've tried. Other than that it would've been 1 star. Money is a big issue.

I need an INSTANT REFUND. I signed up for a 3 day trial and it immediately charged my account money that I NEED right now. I need my money right now. Today.

As soon as my free trial ended, so did Subtitles!! It will no longer upload any of my videos, it will get to 99% and the time out with a PrimaryAPIError(1001) I just want my $49 back please. I needed this for work, so this glitch really messed me up with my job. So much for recommending this to other influencers and my followers. 👎🏾

I really like that there is an app like this one because otherwise I would need to have access to my computer to add this app to a video.

Easy to use and fun. I’m not understanding problems others have. I think it’s mainly user error. Good app.

I like Subtitles. It’s really easy to add and edit this app. Speech recognition is fast and accurate.

Subtitles is perfect. Finally I can see this app from voiceovers. I recommend downloading.

For a school project I edited vid in Adobe Rush then subtitled using Subtitles because it’s so easy to use.
Don’t use the auto translate it doesn’t work, but if you are taking the time to subtitle something yourself this is a great app.
You can change the font, size, color, background, and location of the subtitle quickly and set your own default for the project.
