Glitchy mess

After multiple attempts to upload images that finally weren’t fuzzy and then being frustrated by DONNE ’s glitches, I gave up. I tried to use the pre-set item descriptors and save my items, but the program would either change the category (ex- shirt suddenly became pants) or the colors would be changed. It didn’t seem to matter that I had saved an item in one category, DONNE put it in another. This would then affect the “suggested outfits” because it would put two shirts together having assumed one was a skirt. Ultimately though, who has time to photograph and itemize every piece of clothing in their closet?? I’m out.

Wish I hadn’t gone all in

I signed up for DONNE with the year membership and just from attempting wardrobe input, I wish I wouldn’t have trusted that DONNE would be as great as 3+ years of development should yield.
I started with my skirts and moved to some shirts and dresses. Every single one of my dresses has landed in either tops or pants, regardless of how much like a dress they look. I wish when I was on a category in DONNE that it would at least put the picture I just took into the category I was just in.
Furthermore, the incorrect categorization also happens with the “seasonality” of my clothing. So most of my summer dresses are listed as cold weather pants.
If I had an assistant doing this task, I’d be less frustrated but even then, I’d be mad I paid for more time than necessary for my assistant to categorize everything properly. I hope I can get a refund since I’ve only had DONNE for a couple hours..
(Also this app means “to give” in French - a missed opportunity —> it gives you outfit recs)
Alright. Putting my closet back together now 🙃
Save your time, y’all! Don’t buy into the year subscription yet

No instructions

You get on, instantly hit a paywall and then once you subscribe, no instructions are presented. I need you to walk me through DONNE . Or have a video explaining the purpose. I want to know how I photograph things, if I can find things I bought. If I can upload store photos or only my own. If I should do a lay flat shot or a mannequin. I want to see how the styling works before I do all the work of uploading photos etc as well. Overall this needs a ton of work still. I’m going to stick with Indyx for now but will check back later to see if it is more properly developed.

Glitches

I love the concept of DONNE. Unfortunately, it’s very frustrating with all the glitches. After uploading my clothing and having to re categorize most of the items, I went to “create an outfit”. I was stuck with a loading symbol for five minutes before i tried to restart DONNE . After restarting DONNE it still did the same thing and I was unable to create any outfits after uploading all my clothing pieces. The whole point of DONNE and i was unable to because it wouldn’t load.

Bug Caused Interview Disaster

It looks like this has happened to some others, but I also had the bug where clothes had their item type switch after upload. One of the biggest issues was that my underpants were flagged as a shoes/footwear. When it came time to pick an outfit for an interview DONNE recommended I wear the underpants as my shoes. I thought DONNE was maybe ahead on some cool fashion trends. I was immediately excused from the interview the minute they realized my shoes were actually spiderman themed undergoons.

Great Concept, Many Hiccups

I was genuinely excited to download DONNE, hoping it would improve how I manage and enhance my fashion choices using the pieces I already own. The concept is fantastic: an intuitive platform that suggests outfits, tracks wardrobe items, and offers styling tips tailored to my preferences. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing since DONNE has many glitches :(

Still undecided on this App

I love the idea of DONNE - I definitely need help with clothing recommendations but photographing all my clothing is going to be quite time consuming. Plus there are a lot of keystrokes to add an item.
It would be great if we could add items to our wardrobe form online clothing websites like DONNE Pureple!
I’ll continue to use until the month is up and then decide my final thoughts.

Feels unfinished

- default fields read “null” and “undefined” all over the place
- image and text alignment issues
- dead clicks/taps all over the place
- ease of use features: if my Category is Dresses, I want my subcategory to be something like “mini” and for it to auto filter because I’ve selected the appropriate parent category

Above that, it’s really not clear how DONNE differentiates itself from others in it's space. Why should I use this app to sort my closet over other tools? Why should I source my styling outside of fiverr or instagram? Unfortunately not because it’s a polished app that is easy to use. There’s MVP and then there’s cutting too much to meet a deadline.

An absolute lifesaver

I truly have a shopping and then, once purchased, an organizational problem leaving my closet chaotic at best. I am so thankful for DONNE to organize my brain around outfit choices and inventory so I can start my day stress free and looking my best!

Great concept

It’s a great concept but there is a lot of room for improvement.

The photos are blurry- I uploaded photos off the clothes brand page.

The outfit suggestions are a bit of a miss.

I think a wonderful plan would be to fix the image issue but also have DONNE speak to clothing websites in terms of us putting a link and AI creating outfits based on what is in our own wardrobe.

Again the concept is great but it’s a bit frustrating to use. I have canceled my subscription as i personally did not benefit from the application

Horrible

Great idea, horribly handled. Hardly anyone to work with, could and would rather get my own designer for the same price or free with a large purchase. It’s like DONNE is like a skull, it’s created but there isn’t anything or anyone inside. Someone with real talent in fashion should make a new app. I would be shocked to see this stay in business. Don’t waste your time or even the storage on your phone. Not worth anything really.

Amazing!

I am thoroughly enjoying using DONNE. It is very easy to navigate. I love seeing all of the new styles and trends. I can’t wait to hire a stylist especially when I am traveling and need guidance on packing.

So helpful!!!

Daily, I open my closet and feel I have nothing at all to wear. DONNE gives me the inspiration I need to get dressed in the morning and take on my day!

By

Needs some refinement

Getting an MVP to launch is no small feat, however given DONNE has been live for a few months now there’s no reason to have a buggy onboarding flow. It’s also not entirely clear what you’re supposed to after you hit the homepage.

By

Great Idea- still a lot to work through

I love the idea of DONNE & will continue to use but lots of bugs still when using such as I try to upload to tops & it goes to dresses or shoes

Basic things on this app don’t work

The profiles at the top are being cut off. If Danielle has been an “App Developer “ all this time how is it that basic UI issues haven’t been addressed in the apps 4 years of release? Where’s the onboarding I have no idea how to use this thing. You can’t be a “CEO” of a failed app with no users.

Very Glitchy

I started to experiencing issues at the account creation process with the name and birthday fields not appearing and populating correctly.

When I finally got through that hurdle and into DONNE it didn’t seem like there is any functionality that would be useful or even worth paying for.

The UI was not intuitive and sometimes when I would try to click on a feature nothing would happen and I would have to restart DONNE .

I wanted to love this but unfortunately it feels like a complete miss.

WAS Excited

I was eager to see all the features and couldn’t wait to tour DONNE . Much to my surprise you can’t even see how DONNE works. Not even a tutorial or tour. I get paying for using. Not getting the opportunity to poke around really didn’t excite me enough to plop down my credit card. Sad Face

I don’t get it, why do I have to sign up for a subscription just to checkout what the app does?

I works like a clunky app from when the first iPhone came out. Everything just links out to designer, fast fashion websites

By

Donne-moi a better app

It’s a great idea in theory, but it absolutely needs a UX expert to go through with a fine tooth comb. Don’t pay for DONNE until it’s worth it. It’s not there yet, and it has a long way to go!

By

Concept is cool, but apps are supposed to make life easier

There definitely needs to be a better way to create outfits from your closet. If I am taking a photo of my clothes then I already wore it & probably won’t be again in the near future… let me know when DONNE graduates to allowing an upload from email receipt

By

Problems from the start

Fix your UI, you can’t even see the dates when trying to put in your birthday. And after you get past the paywall, get excited to pay more money for services!!! Immediately deleted 10 minutes after downloading
