Im gonna get straight to the point, don’t download MiGente. I’ve used MiGente for a while and all I’ve ever come across are people that want to sell their you know “photos” if that’s not the case then people are just scammers/catfishes. I’m not trying to be all negative but this is all you come across. Sure they’re are some verified people but you would also have to be lucky for them to like you back lol.

MiGente has real people working for them with fake profiles, all the girls work in fashion in are investors in real estate, or business developers. None of them want to talk to you over the phone after texting for a few days. If you end up talking to them, it’ll be only when it’s convenient for them, never spontaneous, and it will be only for two minutes, if you want to continue the conversation, they pretend to receive an emergency phone call and they hang up on you. I found girls with two different profiles, but different age and names.
If you are looking to entertain yourself, thinking that you are talking to pretty girls. This is MiGente for you. But if not, this is a big waste of time.

Worst dating app I have ever used. Ended up chatting with multiple “bots” or fake accounts who after a while would give me their number and wanted a “picture exchange”. Do not fall for this and uninstall! Not sure if it’s people trying to scam others into giving up real pictures of themselves in order to create more fake profiles from the opposite sex.

It does not tell you where someone is from. You kind of get the hint if the guy is wearing sports apparel in his pics. I know the area I live in doesn’t have many good looking Latinos so I started getting suspicious when I kept liking so many profiles. Everyone I have liked is in Cali. I live 1.5k miles away from Cali. And yes my profile is selected for “closer to me.” Judging by other reviews this is an ongoing issue that should be fixed. Unless it’s y’all telling me I should move because there is nothing in my area lol

MiGente could be great if they developers would add a feature to control the distance/location that the search results shows. So far I have matched with people that are in different states and that kind of takes away from the whole experience

This last update has been making MiGente bug here and there plus they changed the distance to miles instead of exact location which is kinda stupid because it’s maxed out at 50 miles so you can’t really even see how far they actually are.

Pros:
I like that it’s a Latino dating app, and the profile design is cool. I like the music feature that plays their favorite song when you visit their profile, and the questions are light and fun.

Cons:
You have to pay to see who you match with! On top of that, they are likely too far to meet up! Not worth the free download if you ask me.

This dating app has the potential to be the very best ever but I keep running into a Reoccurring problem. Undercover gay guys that steal attractive women’s pictures and create fake accounts to lure men that are actually seeking a partner , to send them nude pictures. I am not in anyway shape or form a bigot or homophobic person but transgender folk are also tricking men into sending them nude pictures.

The concept is cool. However, the matching system is flawed. For example, when you set distance, it’s a slider bar, with literally only 3 stop points. You can’t adjust by miles, it just automatically sets it, and it’s dumb. Why do I want to match with people 50+ miles away? Also, if you “passed” on someone previously, but change your mind, and you “like” them, it permanently registers your initial swipe, no matter what. The age range is only 18-50, which is eh. Overall MiGente is just like any other. Limited amount of likes per day, pay to get more, pay to see who likes you, pay to respond to comments that people leave on your pictures, pay to message someone (you can talk to each other, if you match). For an app that wants you to pay for basic features left and right, you’d think the “feedback” or “support” buttons would be functional, at least, but those aren’t either, and I do have the latest version.

Just like others, I got an error message. It froze and boom my whole profile was gone. I was a paid subscriber so I made a new profile from scratch. It was fine for a couple days and then I tried to get on and it said my account was banned for breaking the guidelines. I didn’t do anything wrong. Emailed customer service and got no response. Nothing. This is after paying the high subscription fee for months. I canceled my subscription. Done.

Tho it’s a nice app but once people are out of reach and profiles aren’t in your area, you can’t text people you already match with till you see other people to match with which is insane. The developers should have thought of something that silly. Why can’t I text my matches all because they aren’t other people to match with? Think about it?

The whole purpose of a dating app is to date people near you. You would think that would be self explanatory with an app but when there is no way to set location on the main part of MiGente it becomes pointless to even use it. I shouldn’t be sliding through people across the country that I will never meet.

The experience of a dating app is to meet people whether they are in your area or not but preferably in your area. MiGente is probably the most un-social dating app I’ve used.
MiGente ’s exposure could be part of the problem but there also isn’t any incentives for users to be active at least not on the free side.
MiGente has potential but at the moment there isn’t any traffic on MiGente .

it’s cool and all but MiGente is basically not even feee because of all the features it takes away with out the subscription you can’t dont anything basically if you don’t have the subscription

5 stars!!!! DOWNLOAD NOW. PS I’m a real person lol. A lot of these apps nowadays require you to pay to play. This seems like a very accessible app without all the other subscriptions you need to sufficiently interact with other users (: give it a try! I promise you won’t regret it (((((:

I like the concept of MySpace and other dating apps put together . There’s music to listen to, their “ anthems “ . I keep getting people from across the country it’s kind of pointless haha to like them when , they are hundreds of miles away. Will give 5 stars when we can set location or distance

So far I’ve been enjoying MiGente , but there have been several instances where I’ve been chatting it up with a match only to find out that the they’re a state or two away.

Having some kind of rough location info available upfront would save a lot of time.

Its a great app love the music feature but it be nice if it actually showed me people that are near me not the other side of the country. It be nice to update it later but I would want to meet also people close to me

I am wondering if I can get a sponsor to post yall on all my social media and get my fans family and friends on here and find there love or friends
