to be honest, if i could rate this 0 stars i would. it absolutely infuriates me on how you CANT EVEN CREATE THE FONT WITHOUT PAYING A SUBSCRIPTION. money greedy app. what kind of developer makes people pay to DO THE THING THAT FontMaker IS ALL ABOUT????!!!!!?!?!? this is so frustrating i cant find an app that lets me make my own font. just saying 1 thing… please fix it and stop being greedy for money. AND WHY WOULD ANYONE. ANYONE..??!? WANT TO PAY MONEY. MONEY THEY COULD SPEND ON FOOD, WATER, DRINKS, AND WAY MORE IMPORTANT STUFF THAN THIS GREEDY APP. FOR A FONT??!!}}!!!!!!!??! fix it! thank you! ☺️

edit: another reason why FontMaker is so bad is ive seen multiple reviews saying its unsafe because FontMaker says it “tracks everything you write on the keyboard”. i believe that based on how rude FontMaker is. and you have to put FULL. KEYBOARD. ACCESS. ON. so youre also telling me you want to track EVERY. SINGLE. THING. I. WRITE. ON. MY. KEYBOARD?!??!! no thanks! 😁 anyways, i wont be downloading or looking to play this game anymore. goodbyeeee!!

I have a restriction on my ipad that my mom put on it so that she has to do a password in order for me to download any apps, so i rarely do. But my friends all have a bunch of really cool fonts and keyboards that they text with, so i decided to go on app store and ask my mom to do the password to download them, and while i was at it i asked for a few apps that i had kind of wanted for a while. She approved most of my requests, and more than half of the "free" apps required payment, including this one. The only reason i gave it a star is because i like the concept of making your own fonts.

It is horrible it is such a scam I make my first font and I thought it would be free but no everything literally everything you have to pay for and I’ve been reading the reviews and they all say pretty much the same thing do not get FontMaker it is horrible go get other ones if you really want to change your font please don’t get

Also there are to many adds like everytime I try to click off or on something it goes straight to the adds

The font was good but when I tried to make a title, it says how you have to copy it and I copied it and I tried to paste it but it didn’t work like I literally did not work and when you have to type it, it has like a like a spot for you to type it in and you have to copy you got a copy it but the thing is that it’s really annoying when you’re trying to type it in and you realize she was typing it in the wrong spot. It’s so annoying when you’re doing it.

I got FontMaker bc I thought the fonts were rlly cool but when I made I font I forgot to save it so I redid it but when I saved it it said that my 3 days were over? I just got FontMaker today FontMaker MAKES YOU pay money bc you can’t save it it will just ask and ask and ask and it ask u to rate the game a lot it’s almost like they want you to rate it while you are making the font so you can say it’s a good app when it’s really just a scam. Please do not download FontMaker if you are gonna pay it makes you pay 10 dollars per month so please be careful when using FontMaker 👍

It is very hard to make a font so much ads. I know the developer is trying to make money, but I suggest getting rid of FontMaker. Do not download. There is many other apps you can try, but don’t choose this one.☠️. on how horrible this is it shouldn’t be money it says you have to do the subscription I think that’s OK but when I click on it, it says you have to do the description AGIAN

This is my honest opinion you should not buy it. Ignore it scroll past it what I’m trying to say it’s just don’t download it.☠️ but if you like FontMaker, you can keep it. It’s my opinion, but you can make your own opinion overall I would say this is zero stars.

You can download another app, but just please not this one. It’s a waste of money. It’s horrible. I’m being honest this reveal is getting long and boring so I’m just gonna say don’t download FontMaker.

I hate this game because after you create a font like after you finish creating all of your font it just wants you to buy the game please read this and get another font making app please. This game makes me so mad I demand they take down the price . They should make this free for all kids and adults who just want to make a single font .you might say hey this person just hates the price well NO I DO NOT !!!!!!! I demand someone to take down the price so we can actually play on this game and make our own fonts. Therefore my rating on this game is ONE .You need to fix this game immediately!!!! My main problem with FontMaker is the money 9.99 a month that’s way to much maybe make it easier by a one time payment. When looking at this review you probably like just don’t pay the subscription but to make FontMaker work I have to pay the subscription otherwise I can’t send messages with it so what’s even the point now deleting immediately do not get FontMaker unless your a rich person who is super Baird and has a tun of money to spend on stupid apps like this it’s awful do not get it and if you get FontMaker and pay the money man you must be board and rich

FontMaker would be pretty great if it didn’t charge you a billion dollars (I’m exaggerating, it doesn’t cost that much). It’s $10.

Now you might be thinking: “$10? That’s it? That’s nothing… sure it’s kind of pricey for a font but some apps have $5 a week!” Here’s the part where you’re wrong.

It’s $10 a month.

A month.

For a font you can’t even type normally without copying and pasting (which I think is a bad system).

Terrible.

That’s $120 a year! Compared to a lot more money, you might think it’s not that bad (it is), but come on, would you really give a whole stack of cash to an app just to get another font on your keyboard when there’s millions of much better ones out there? Think of that. Yeah, you wouldn’t.

Anyway, don’t get this if you want 2 fonts and don’t have much money or don’t want to spend it. I kind of wanted to rate it 0 stars, but I can’t do that. Still bad.

Bro, FontMaker IS SO MONEY GREEDY! you can’t do anything without paying money… It makes absolutely no sense why an app would make you pay money for its entire purpose! 💀 There is no way of using FontMaker unless you’re going to pay 😭 AND THE ADS! I swear.., an AD shows up every single SECOND 💀 if I had a dime for every add that showed up I’d have at least 3 dollars 💵 (yes I am exaggerating…) but if you get annoyed especially by ads then I suggest to stay away from FontMaker… I’m sorry.. but I feel that if I dont find a real font app that DOSNT make you pay or has too many ads… then… I suggest to the people downloading FontMaker to just use the available fonts that are used today….

They have the font that I want to use. However I don’t have access to that font even with “full access”. It’s only available as a template that they want me to trace before I can use it. With this template and tracing pattern that they have they don’t give you the proper tool to use to trace their already perfect font. The font is clearly pressure sensitive you can’t zoom in to perfect it basically they make it impossible for you to have the font that you’re tracing and they don’t make that font available anywhere else. What I’m left with is a five year old serial killer version of their perfect font that I want with my current “full access” can’t access. Even though they already own access to the font. Stupid.

I made ONE FONT and the second one it said you have to get the subscription. I thought, “that’s ok, it makes sense, the developers are trying to make money.” But when I tried to text with it, it said I had to get the subscription! Literally you have to pay for everything but one font you’re not allowed to use. Do. Not. Get. This. App. There are so many better apps you could get instead! Anything but this one. - Elora

Edit: forgot to say this would be the best app in the world if you didn’t have to pay, also it’s unsafe because it can access everything you write and have previously written with it which is soooooo creepy! It’s just……..I don’t wanna be rude but…..you know what screw being nice it’s not my favorite app on the entire planet.

look, i’m sure FontMaker isn’t horrible, it’s probably far from it, but it’s pretty outrageous that it’s a “free” app, but you can’t even use it without paying! i open FontMaker and i am immediately hit with a pop up asking me to buy a subscription. i thought maybe it was optional, so i closed it out, only for ANOTHER pop up to come onto my screen! if i can’t use it without paying money, just don’t make it free to download.

FontMaker would be APPSOLUTLY an amazing app if it was cheaper. I mean I understand developers wanting to make money but this is just too much. Also I tried to make a font and it won't let me use it. Like I made my A like this α αnd it put it on my screen like this a. I feel like it's just wasting your money. But like I said if the developer made a few adjustments it would be a great game. I've seen a few people loving FontMaker and I understand how someone could like FontMaker its just too expensive for me and my peers.

I forgot to add the ads. Too many adds while trying to make my own font. I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend FontMaker.

Listen, FontMaker itself is fine, but the fact that to even use it you need to pay is in my opinion pretty dumb. Any reviews that say similar things always get the same default response saying that thanking you and saying they’ll think about it, which means they probably don’t read your reviews. Please allow the fonts to be at the very least useful in other apps as promised. Watch me get a default response below lol.

FontMaker is really good for handwriting and just fun fonts in general! But my biggest problem is the ads! There is adds when you add a font,get in FontMaker ,in the middle of making a font,and way more! They are just popping up and it’s getting really annoying and i just want to do something w/o ads! But if you want to use it go right ahead! Just be aware that there is adds like every few minutes! -Addie

FontMaker is great, if you don’t count that YOU CAN NOT USE IT WITHOUT PAYING MONEY!!!! Otherwise if you are willing to pay money then it is really cool! You put all your hard work into a font, then you can’t use it! I spent 2 hours perfecting my font, total waste of time! But again with the money you can do all sorts of stuff!

Hi! I’m just saying what you should do to help FontMaker ! So when I went in FontMaker to see why everyone was complaining, it showed a subscription to sub but it had no x button, so I tried refreshing but it didn’t work, in order for it to work I had to turn my device off and on again, but ether way, it is a great font maker!

FontMaker is fun to use but the problem (for me) is when I try to send my message, it becomes a photo and I need to put on full access to type.I mostly enjoyed making new fonts.

I havent even started FontMaker yet but I know that I will be amazing, their is one thing that I think that you nee to change. That’s thing is maki8ng it free for little kids who want to do it but then trellised that it isn’t nfree so they ask a parent sns they say something lik no,
