Plantia: Plant Identifier Reviews

The ad which let me to sign up and pay full price for the services is misleading. The disease diagnostic is worthless. I took a picture of a plant who’s leaves were turning brown to diagnose and two suggestions came back. The leaves on the diagnostics didn’t match the plant or the desease I was trying to identify. I took a picture of a different plant with a different leaf structure to see what would happen. The same two suggestions came back neither matching the leaf structure. Hope the diagnostics improves otherwise this was a wasted $50.
Update; Until the diagnostics improves / or i get a full refund I stand by my rating. I just took a picture of 4 very different plants and all four which are healthy came back with the exact diagnosis.

Scam app not free I’m really shocked that apple let them do this. Scam app reviews say that this one is “wrong” scamming people out of money. HERE HOW!!!! You pick free but It charged you three dollars then automatic subscribe You to weekly subscription $7.

Plantia doesn’t work well at all. Leave you clueless after it’s done diagnosis. I would like my ten dollars back.

If you respond you’re gonna say you’re not in charge of this it will be Apple so this my evidence to Apple that you con me out of money thank you have a nice day.

This is basically google aside from the water reminder that you could do yourself on your calendar. I wish I wouldn’t have paid money for this. It doesn’t have any of the features I thought it would. My bad for not paying closer attention. I think I thought it was a different one maybe?? Either way I wish I could cancel this and get my money back.

Love plants but not the best at taking care of them. Plantia helps me feel more confident I am properly taking care of my plants. Great app for plant identification as well :)

Do not download! Plantia does not work to identify plants, I canceled on the same day I downloaded it and they are still charging me which it was a free trial so I shouldn’t have been charged at all. The email address to contact the developer is a fake. This is all around a scam, having to report it to Apple - wish I had read the reviews before I downloaded.

I never knew my favorite plant’s “real” name just it’s street and I love this because it not only names my plant, it also describes it to me!

Already don’t care for it as it want a subscription to get a diagnosed diseases I mean I already know what most of my plants are in my house I just want to see of why some are dying and not neeed to pay

This could help out so many people grow their own food that don’t have the extra money to spend on an app

I really enjoy Plantia. It helps me a lot to identify plants and their care.

I am a Botanist-Biologist of 36 plus years. This seems to be an interesting app! Will try it for a couple of days and see if it lives up to its advertising standards.

Do not download! Cancelled 3 times before the third day when it should have charged my card and it STILL charged me! I wouldn’t have minded if it worked in identifying my plants but didn’t even guess right. Don’t bother!

I have tried twice to get information on this plant that is dying, and both times you have given me the wrong plant. Your your guesses are not better than mine.

Plantia does not help at all. Additionally, read the fine print. You can cancel your free trial in Plantia , but they will still charge you unless you go into your apple settings and turn off auto renew. Total scam!

Tried the free trial and then when I tried to cancel it upgraded to premium for 9.99 a week. Now my login doesn’t work and cannot contact to stop subscription

Plantia is useless. It gave me pictures to choose from to identify it. And pictures to choose the diagnosis. Don’t bother to download and definitely don’t subscribe 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Apps that I like this need to stop saying start a free trial I know you're trying to get people to pay for Plantia but that's stupid they just wanna enjoy Plantia for free not have to pay for it

I’ve only looked at about 7-8 plants and they seemed good.

I tried three times and it still didn’t recognize my plant. How can you help if you don’t even know what plant I have.

Identifying a plant should be free (to match your mission statement) if you want to charge then put it on the care portion!!!

Just purchased Plantia. I very dissatisfied

So far I’ve taken several pics and none of the pics are even the correct plant name.Mostly wanted to use it to learn what certain diseases and negative affects my plants were having. But if the pics do not give me the correct plant then it’s no no help. I should not have paid the 49.00 lifetime member with trying it first
