The reason I'm writing this is because there is no contact info or customer support options on Hyperweb Store, app's landing page or "guide".

I love the potential of Hyperweb... assuming all advertised features worked. And i'd happily change my review to 5 stars if the "guide" was remotely like, thorough. People who already understand how to deal with more advanced options, likely wouldn't be looking through the guide. So the fact that the guide is more of an ad and barely elaborates, let alone explains how to properly set up advanced options without Hyperweb breaking safari... is annoying. Most ppl know WHAT cookies and content blockers are if they're downloading something like this. But sometimes there are contextual differences in taking advantage of those settings in individual apps/extensions.

Like, "easy list format" means what exactly? Because considering how absurdly long filter lists are, I cannot imagine we are expected to add each item individually. So like, explain. Or just add a toggle for all. Googling "easy list format" brings up entire filter lists like adguard/fan boy etc. And if the whole list is what we input -- versus individual filters on individual lists -- is what you mean by format, explain that. Come on...this could be life changing.

I love it so far. Been using it for a few days now, and really am happy with it. I’ve tried several before, ultimately just dealing with the ads because the good ones charged, and the free apps didn’t work.
This one is easy to use, does what it says, and the controls are straight forward.

I love Hyperweb, it works flawlessly with my iPad; I can get an adblocker and dark mode. However, the darkmode don’t work with my iPhone. If you have a fix, that would be great! Again, this is a well made app that simply has a bug.

Hyperweb provides fantastic functionality! Auto play blocking does break some sites though. I also wish instead of accepting we could decline the cookies automatically.

None of the rules I set say they’re enabled correctly. I did the initial setup correctly.

EDIT: Restarted my phone and it works now. Leaving initial text in case these show up as a way for people to fix issues.

I tried a bunch of different extensions for Safari once iOS15 came out, but this one takes the crown so far. It centralizes all those extensions into one, don’t waste your time with other extensions and support the developers.

Great extension! Better than the rest for sure. Suggestion: could you give us an option to have a true dark mode (fully black background) instead of just a gray background?

I am leaving a review so this shows up more in search results- because it needs to be the top result for a “safari extensions” search. The other ones I’ve tried are not as comprehensive as this app.

I bought this as it was one of the first extensions released. Now there’s more options I’ve switched to a privacy friendly extension, with similar functionality, that doesn’t track anything.

Always check the privacy policy!

Such a great extension except it breaks some websites from even loading entirely. And there’s no blacklist to stop this app from being enabled on certain websites or able to black/white list websites from using some of the settings that may be the issue.

You can blacklist and whitelist under just about every module. There's just so many features.

I wrote a bad review because of a super annoying bug that has been fixed since. Giving four stars because the bug was glaring and shouldn’t have passed through QA but Hyperweb is wonderful otherwise now.

This is a great extension. It Supports userscript like you write in tampermonkey or greasemonkey. For me this is an awesome way to add custom keyboard shortcuts to webpages to significantly improve productivity on the iPad with an external keyboard. This is the best extension I have tried on Hyperweb Store.

This is an excellent application of the new Safari Extension functionality. Great for folks like me who miss when websites just worked and weren’t infuriating to visit.

Whenever you make a search it flashes white to then turn into Dark Mode, witch gets very annoying to your eyes.

This extension brings a lot of cool functionality though, if the issue above gets resolved; I’d give it a higher ranking

It works well as a ad blocker and adds in a lot of options for safari.

Only had it installed for 5 minutes and uninstalling it. When you load a page in safari and it puts the icon (decent size) on the screen to show you it’s done something.

Make an option to remove it and I’ll try again 🤷🏽‍♂️

Dark mode is not true black and white like Safari’s dark mode - which provides better contrast. Please fix and make dark mode true black and white and not dark grey with light grey text.

Despite what the user guide says, there is no option to add a custom search engine as the default for Safari. The only options are the search engines suggested by the developer.

The first time I encountered a message telling me I was using an ad blocker I searched all through Hyperweb to find a way to override the ad blocker for the website in question - unsuccessfully.

When you include a user manual with Hyperweb I may install it again. For now it's way too unfriendly and I've deleted it.

So far so good.

Message showing updating safari this may take a few minutes is actually taking hours. It’s like never finishing up.

Really need improvement in this field, most userscripts doesn't really work that well and have glitches.

Too good to be a free app, everytime I'm using it I'm like whats the catch.
If it's not working for you/not behaving as you want it to, trust me you're doing something wrong.
I'd appreciate it if you'd provide dark mode for more sites, though I'm using a script at the moment which works very well. And provide pip for YouTube in non-desktop version.
