I rarely write reviews and I never make in app purchases. This game made me do both. After playing the free levels, I knew I needed to play the others. The game is seriously fun, and it is clear the developers worked hard. In a mass of low quality, “quick cash in” games, this one stands apart. Easily a 5 star experience.

Like the game concept it is really fun to play. The problem occurs after you complete a level for the first time though. Things that were moving are no longer moving so if you 2 stared a level and want to go back and 3 star it, well unfortunately you can’t. This is also a problem on the last puzzle before you even finish it. A block that supposed to move up and down just doesn’t move and you are soft locked with no way to finish that game.

I would love to give a proper review of this game, but unfortunately after less than 5 minutes, and only 3 levels in, I got hit with a pay wall.

Now the price to unlock all the levels is not much, and it may even be worth it to buy, but I don’t like how the game is advertised as “free” with “in app purchases”. The game is NOT free. It’s not even a game. It’s just a 5 min demo you get to download.

Why not just say that? I hate when these developers uses skeezy tactics like this. Just charge for the game from the get go so I know what I’m getting into.

I really like this game! It challenging, satisfying, and (unlike most games) it doesn’t have any adds! But on to the cons. You start off with three levels, but you have to pay 2.99 to unlock all twelve. Also the game is very short, so if you like that, you should get this game.

TO THE DEVS OF THIS GAME: Please please PLEASE make a Automatoy maker, then make it so you can share it with your friends that have this game. That would make the game MUCH longer, and more fun!

I have seen a few reviews saying this same thing but not happy about the 2 dollars to pay for the rest of the game but, that means that it’s ad free and I know there are lots of developers that would still make you pay for the 2 dollars or maybe even pay more and still have ads

Didn’t realise this game was new - I’ll be following for more! Very fun for me in the style of Marble Drop / Monument Valley, easy to grasp even without a guide (but it’ll be helpful to at least be shown how to start the game). Seconding what someone else said about not being able to replay a level to perfect the star score though. Congrats on a great start, Idle Friday!

I thought that the concept of the game was very creative band something I really liked. The only bad part was that you only hit three levels and than had to pay. I understand that developers have to get paid so I didn’t give them a terrible rating. I hope that the devs see these reviews and change it a bit so they make money in a different way they should just make the entire game 2.99 instead.

The game was very fun, but it was also very short. There definitely should be more levels added, or even a create your own feature where you can build levels and then post them online for others to play.

This is a fantastic game which was a lot of fun to play. However, the lack of play time for the cost of all levels was extremely disappointing. Probably had 2 hours of play time before all levels were beat at 3 stars and all achievements were unlocks. There needs to be more level development into Automatoys to make it a long term winner, at this point I’m feeling robbed out of my 1.99

How many times I sighed as I got so close to finishing and then -poof- one wrong turn. Start over! Frustrating but a fun and beautiful game nonetheless. It would help if you could "see" some the sides a bit better by rotating the tower? It only took me about 800 tries to get through #10.

I really like the game but I want more of it. Maybe update the game with new levels every now and then to keep it fun and fresh. Plus adding more levels will justify the price tag a little more. Still a great game anyways.

The game is really fun and I love it but there's a weird glitch where nine times out of ten when I open up the game it gets stuck on the loading screen and never starts. Sometimes it will load in and let me play but that's very rare. If you could fix it that would be much appreciated!

This is the kind of puzzle game in which you can fail a level 15 times and every time you know exactly what you did wrong. Clever design, spot on physic, and very satisfying gameplay. Highly recommended.

This is a perfect platform for a level editor, and the game would really benefit from user levels with various difficulties and themes!

This game is really unique. Nothing like I’ve ever played on mobile. I honestly would have given this an easy 5 stars, as it held me the whole time I played it, but then I quickly lost all of the fun when I figured out the rest of the levels costed $3. Still, first 3 levels are amazing.

The game is super fun, and it would be a nice road trip game. It’s nice and challenging, but not rage quit challenging. But, you get 3 levels, and then you have to pay for more. I get that this is probably how the creators make money, but it was kinda disappointing how there were only 3 levels.

I absolutely love this game, it’s so dope and the perfect phone game. Fun obstacles and puzzles to solve, absolutely love it. ALTHOUGH. I am upset that I have to pay for more than just THREE levels. That’s kinda harsh :( but we need more levels in the game please update it

If you’ve ever played screwball scramble as a kid, this is basically that, and It’s really just excellent. Can’t recommend it highly enough, and excited to see what this developer comes up with next!

As others have said, this is a lovely game. But I find it absolutely frustrating to download a game and find that 98% of the functioning game is behind a paywall. I’d rather pay up front for the game than to have this bait and switch. It deserves 5 stars but on good conscious I cannot.

Really enjoyable, calm game. Nice music, perfect balance between being too easy and too hard I’d say. Only complaint I have is that it’s a short experience, wish there was more.

To start, I don’t know why people are tripping over $2, you can buy a chocolate bar with that. I don’t see the problem??? You probably have that in loose change. If you dont have the money dont buy it. To be real it was a great spend this game is awesome I’ve had a phone since 2016 and I can’t complain about the mobile games I’ve played through the years. They were all really cool but nobody can beat this app. This game is so simple yet so much fun. It literally makes you use your brain power and makes you focus. It’s strategic, adorable, stylish, simple, and fun! I absolutely adore this game. I love the little sounds and the comforting Lo-Fi music in the background. Its just awesome. I just wish there were more levels. Man do I hope you guys make more or make more game’s similar to this because it was a blast.

Very much have enjoyed this little puzzle/physics/whatever game. Definitely was worth the in-app purchase. Would make a second in-app purchase for additional levels. Very happy there are no in-app purchases for coins, gems, cheating, etc. One bug: On “level” 7, the user has to be more precise than they should probably have to be to get the ball to stick to one of the magnets on the “ferris wheel” at the beginning of the stage. Perhaps this was intentional but it contradicts how sticky the magnets in previous levels are. It may actually just be an adjustment in the perspective that is needed rather than the actual physics. I wish there were a way for me to gift Noah the ten year-old (another reviewer) the rest of the game. Thank you to the developer for their response.

This is a great game not gonna lie, and it has great graphics and no ads at all!, I love the music and, it’s great that the dev put care into this game, sadly theres 1 problem with it, now I get why they had to do this because they have to make money but seriously you can only do 3 levels and then you hit a pay wall, and I know this might not be a problem for people who have a lot of money, but kids like me who only have a moderate amount of money don’t have an allowance for this, if you can’t make it free at least make half of the game free so people can enjoy more, another thing if you could make an Automatoy maker that would be kinda epic!

It’s a fun game. The look, feel, and sound of it reminds me of games like Alphaputt, Perchang, Reky, and even Wonderputt. I like physics based games and this one is challenging enough without being impossible. A little practice, a couple of do-overs and you can get through each level. The one drawback is having to start over (on that level, not the whole game) each time you go off the contraption instead of starting where you left off. Especially the first time you attempt a new level. They get a bit more challenging as you go and there’s a lot of trial and error to figure out the new mechanics of each one, so having to start from the beginning of that level each time becomes frustrating, for me anyway. Enough so that I close it a lot sooner than I would otherwise. But I still enjoy the game.

Absolutely worth the download. You can try free and own the whole thing for $2. It’s just fun to poke at each puzzle until you can gleam the whole path to the end. Then if you want to chase the stars you can try and speed run the puzzle as quick as you can. The full unlock gets you a good amount more of the toys.

It’s well built and I love the minimalistic style. It’s surprising I found this in the editors choice since the game isn’t constantly hounding you to spend more money and buy more tries. You just get to play and enjoy the game.

As a kid I loved those buildable plastic marble runs, and although this game isn’t that, it is something else that is amazing. The kind you can’t get enough of, a reason why YOU too should get the operator’s key! Overall a chill experience with some difficulty that I heartily enjoyed.

Lastly, it has been said and I will say it again: this game is too short, and more this app wouldn’t be bad.

Listen, this game is good. But I wouldn’t have bought it if I knew that you only get 3 free levels and then you hit a pay wall of $1.99 to buy the rest of the levels. Quick lesson, free means no money. “In app purchases” are fine, but not when it’s 80% of the game I need to buy. Just make the game $1.99, or just call it a demo. Other than that it’s a good game, based on skill and timing. I know I’m not the only one going off about this but, seriously, take my advise about calling this a demo. I don’t mean to be a pain, but I’m just a little angry about this. A lot of developers do this and I was hopeful about this game. Other than this, great work!

I passed every stage once, and went back and got 3 stars on each stage relatively quick. It was within a day of playing a level or 2 when I had 5 minutes to kill. It's a lot of fun and I really enjoy the game, it's a very cool idea, I just wish there was more content. I'm already done with everything, and I'm not sure there is going to be too much replay value if I already got 3 stars on every level, but very fun, very cool. Add more content please.

Im going to start of by saying, “I’m 40 years old.” All that said, when I was a child, there was a game one of my friends had, “Screwball Scramble”, and I used to love it. Mission: move ball from start to finish using one button or stick to manipulate obstacles.

This is THAT game made for the digital world. Including some familiar obstacles, including maxes, magnets, hop steps, a up down bridge, one touch controls, and a satisfying sense of accomplishment. For 1.99$ why wouldn’t you want to buy the full game. I loved the analog Screwball Scramble, and this game brings back a lot of fond memories. The level design is beautiful and challenging.

Please make more levels. Please.

So, i started playing this game, and it was FUN. I soon got three-stars on the first three, then realize you have to pay just to play more levels. Seriously? At this point its disappointing. Im tired of people making good games with awesome ideas into them, then making paywalls. I understand that it is only 2-3 bucks, but i rather spend my money on something actually useful. So in conclusion, maybe make the game free or EVEN make the game two bucks to play.

The only issue I have with this game is that after three levels you get hit with a paywall. If I were to think of a fix, make it so that you can play the first six levels for free and then you have to pay for the last six. Apart from that, I like how this game actually had a vision and that this game had actual care put into it. Not to mention that the music is great.

The combination of the chill background music, all the sound effects, and the designs of the levels create a very unique and relaxing atmosphere that’s difficult to replicate. Easily 10/10, hoping for more levels in the future, well worth the $2.

First of all the game design is perfect! It’s really cool to see all the different types of this app (sorry I don’t know if I’m spelling it right) it’s very creative and fun to see how all the contraptions work and experiment what failed and what you could do better on next time. Also the bright colors make the setting feel light and happy! The little smiling face on the ball makes it 10x cuter as well. The sfx is also very good it’s satisfying to hear the clunks etc as the ball continues throughout the puzzles. My only problem is that I find myself at a point where I won’t move on to the next level until I’ve gotten 3 stars on my last one which causes a lot of frustration and this game is supposed to be calming. But I guess it’s my problem that I just have the pet peeve of not feeling satisfaction until I’ve done it perfectly but I just feel like it gets frustrating to know that you didn’t get to the expectations the game expected which makes you feel bad and you want to keep repeating it until you’ve finally exceeded the expectations. This makes you end up sitting there for hours playing that one level and then you finally realize how much time you’ve wasted just to continuously fail. Other than that the game is very calming, cute and great for passing time and getting your brain to exercise.

This is ultimately a very cute game! It doesn’t have any particular things that irk me and it makes for a relaxing experience. I also enjoy the gameplay since I grew up playing with marble games like this, so it made for a comforting nostalgia trip. $2 for the rest of the game after the first 3 this app is not a bad price! However it feels like too little amount of gameplay even if you bought the rest. In total, (if I counted correctly) there are 10 this app. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have enough replay-ability for me to stay interested knowing the lack of this app to play with. To summarize, it leaves me wanting more. With that being said, I hope they can add more in the future!

The concept for this game is super fun! I love the physics and gameplay, however having a 2 dollar paywall after 3 levels wasn’t a great choice. I haven’t bought more levels, however there doesn’t seem to be a lot of content for this game. I finished the 3 levels in 10 minutes and it looks like this game could be completed in 30 minutes over all. I say use your money on a game you’ll get more time out of.

There have only been a very select handful of games which I have purchased after enjoying the FREE version and this app ranks up there with the very best. Truly, the action is so well conceived that I can’t believe the imagination and skill that went into it. ‘Nuf said. See for yourself…but be warned. You’re in for some serious addiction. I’m almost considering a rehab facility!

I was a bit skeptical after playing the first three levels because I didn’t want to pay for something that wouldn’t be challenging, but as the levels go on they become quite difficult to achieve in a fast enough speed to get the 3 stars. Great game :)

The combination of cute graphics, amazing level design, good sound design, and super satisfying haptics make this game very unique, even if the concept seems strangely familiar at first. Absolutely worth the $2 the developers ask for to unlock all the levels. It can be frustrating in the later levels, but that's part of the fun once you eventually figure it out (you definitely have to replay some levels multiple times, especially if you want to get more stars).

Great design, only one in-app purchase to unlock all the levels, no obnoxious ads, no ridiculous monetization (I can think of a few ways the developers could let you cheat or pay to win) — I know the bar for mobile games is on the ground, but still, this game absolutely deserves the praise and what little of your money it asks for. 5 stars.

It seems like forever since I bought a game. Or played one. But this game is enchanting and wonderful and I'm so glad I found it. Fantastic designs 😂 and colors are beautiful for my soul 🎨 In fact it's the first game where I've been leaving the sound on. Everything about it is perfect. If you're sick of ridiculous prices, endless ads, or horrible subscriptions, and want something beautiful at a very, very fair and simple price, this is the game for you. It is healing my heart 😍😌

Let’s start off with the one bad thing😅. There is only 3 or 4 levels you can do. After that you have to pay $2 dollars for all the other levels. I mean it’s a good deal but I don’t want to pay just to play the game! Other than this problem wonderful game! Sound is perfect, the looks are just FABULOUS. Everything else is good. But please fix the pay $2 for the other levels. Thank you for reading hope it helps!!!

The privacy policy of actually giving us the real peace of mind by not collecting any data from the users AND not shoving ads willynilly like any other games is both reassuring and grants the complete immersiveness of toys without realizing that you’re on a smartphone fidgeting a virtual coin-operated toy. And it’s free with no ads by default, which means I don’t have to worry when my kids mess with this game.

Every week. There has to be a reason people come back for more, and after beating it, I can’t say there is. Please make more levels! I love this game.
