Ninja Must Die Reviews

Another great game ruined by all the superfluous crap you have to do that has nothing to do with actually playing the game. I downloaded this game because it looked cool and the gameplay looked fun. However, you have to wade through so much pointless junk- collecting daily rewards, upgrading weapons, picking teammates, opening reward chests, collecting more daily rewards, sending pets on missions, reading notices, learning skills, participating in races, collecting even more daily rewards, responding to chats (and being forced to send out chat requests), oh and did I mention that there are even MOAR daily rewards you have to collect? I’m not joking, I have FOUR separate daily login rewards to collect. All together I counted 16- SIXFREAKINGTEEN different notices for things that I had to go click on or do and NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME!!! I’m not exaggerating, it really is that ridiculously absurd, and it just ruins what otherwise would have been a fantastic game.

I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because once you wade through all the useless crap and actually get to play the game it is pretty fun, and it looks fantastic. Give me a little more actual gameplay and much less of everything else and maybe I’ll come back and play again, but as for now I’m done. Sayonara.

I really like the game so far, like a few months ago I was looking for a ninja runner game I used to play all the time and couldn’t remember the name, a couple hours later it hit me…. Speedy ninja!!! I was super sad that the game wasn’t on NinjaMustDie Store because I loved that game, and it’s essentially this one but it didn’t have nearly as many features and there wasn’t a real set story thing like in this game which is very cool and there are a whole lot of new features like at least 10 new things that I’ve seen so far, and I’m glad I found this game because I knew all of the other games weren’t the one I wanted because there were no hammers to upgrade weapons with lol. Overall I give this game a 10/10, that might be a little biased though because I’ve technically been playing for like anywhere between 6 and 8 years haha, but I think anyone would love this game and speedy ninja was just as good, now back to playing, and if the devs are reading this somehow great job guys, it’s awesome to see how far it’s come since speedy ninja :).

Firstly I want to say that this is a great game and I’ve very enjoy it and recommend you download it. The clans, bounty, and races are all very fun. My only slight wish is that the story mode was a little bit harder. I’ve completed 5 chapters with no worry at all and it seemed a little to easy. If it could be a little more challenging that would make it very fun. I know that a bunch of kids play this game, which is probably the reason for the story mode being very easy. With that being said though I’ve played this game for a while and have enjoyed all of my time spent on it. I highly recommend anyone wondering if you should get it to download it and just play for a bit. Very good game and hope it doesn’t change drastically because it’s very fun the way it is now.

I preordered the game and was the first to play ik there’s been other comments before me but I was playing the game on December 13th before anyone else did as soon as the game was installed I played it and already in chapter 3 I love kuro’s character and also bought the welcome pack to show my support I absolutely love the weapon it’s a legendary and it shreds waves of enemies along with bosses the mechanics are amazing the voice acting is anime quality absolutely superb! The bosses are fantastic this has become my favorite mobile game I love how we’re allowed to tame the black dragon and have him go on journeys with us I love the whole concept of the ninja realm if you haven’t started your journey yet and are reading this! Go at it! You won’t regret it! See you in the realm my fellow ninja!

So great game! The only bad reviews so far are it not opening or the sever being down. It’s a very fun game! Great to pass time or to play hard core. You can either play to beat the hardest bosses or just see how far you can get before you die. The clans and even chats are very fun and interacting. Story is more so to pass time but very fun still. I’ve had no problems opening it and playing it since it came out. I have nothing bad to say about this game I just over all love it!! It’s even easy to make in game friends so don’t worry about having to invite people you know in real life to play! I rate this game a 5/5. Really addictive game, easy to play and understand, not like those free runner games, one thing I really don’t like is the way it attacks, is the only thing that’s making me think is not worth trying to get better weapons or even upgrading since you can get attack any giving time while you can’t and your attacks are limited and given stars to attack and if you missed it you don’t get to attack at all, that’s the only thing I really don’t like about the game, I wouldn’t mind spending money on good weapons If I could attack at will. Don’t like to be told when I can attack when I’m been attack at. Other than that I love it, give it a try and be the judge, you might like what i don’t.

First off let’s start with some of the pros. The gameplay is very fun, running and jumping, evading enemies gives you that rush of adrenaline you want from any action hack and slash game. The story itself is surprisingly very well. It has great voice acting (for a mobile game) and there are many twists to keep players engaged. There are also lots of modes to play. So if you get bored of one you can go play another.

Now for the cons… there are a lot of them. Let’s start with the micro transactions and the gacha system. You can unlock skins free skins by just playing the game but they’re all just recolors. All the really cool skins are locked behind a $20 paywall. Which is absolutely insane. You can buy a really good mobile game that gives you 20+ hours of good content for 5$. Also all the un lockable weapons are locked behind a gacha system. Which isn’t so bad since you can unlock them regularly by playing the game.
But you can also pay for them if you want to…

Overall it’s an average game. It’s not a 1 star game and it’s not a 5 star game. It’s got problems. So… should you play it? If you don’t mind the gacha system, the overpriced cosmetics… sure go ahead. This game is more of a time killer then to actually invest your money in.

This game is absolutely amazing. I downloaded it thinking it would be another boring game to cross off of my list but this game is so good. It’s got some story, cool platforming mechanics, cool boss fights, and really good cut scenes. Plus it has no ads so you don’t have to worry about getting riddled with ads. My favorite game mechanics are being able to save up tickets to do summons in order to get different characters and weapons. I like being able to collect all kinds of legendary weapons to deck out my character so that bosses are easier to beat. Also this game has a small bit of multiplayer which makes it interactive and fun. I love this game please continue to make more content, and please don’t put ads into the game.

At first i was skepticle about this a ninja game? Running side scroller? And than i tried it and the more you play the more stuff unlocks and omg it gets so good it has weapons combat ninjas with there own unique powers story mode that goes from normal to elite the level of quality and effort put i to this game shows the developers rly want you to have a good time some weapons even have funny names like a legendary weapon in the game is called IphonyXXX resembles a phone with thunder power that gives you a shield man this game is a blast download it and support the creators 5+++ Stars the only gripe i have is it needs controller support PLZ ADD CONTROLLER SUPPORT!!

I went into this thinking it was another generic ad game from Facebook. I wasn’t expecting a really good story with mechanics that were both fun and challenging. Yes, you can for sure see where they make their money as theirs a thing you can buy to do other things all over the main menu. Does it detract that you can play this without paying? Well so far I have only paid just to get some boots for non-story-related stuff so I’d say yes.

Give it a shot, I think you might be as surprised as I was.

Absolutely fantastic game. My one criticism is that you have too many passes. There are three different passes I can buy - a battle pass, a season pass for the current month, and a subscription thingy that boosts my daily rewards. I still give 5 stars though because those things aren’t necessary - you can very much play and even excel in the game without them, albeit more slowly of course. So it’s not quite pay-to-win, though perhaps it will get worse as I climb the ranks. We’ll see.

Hello, this is great game, everyone should definitely download, but I have one wish. Add a level creator. Your game would boost in popularity if you do so! Being able to play more custom levels will open a whole new community of creators, and with creators comes molders for there levels. People will see this creations and trace it back to your game. Also it would just be really fun to play other people’s levels and make my own. Just think about it. Great game.

I don’t do reviews often but this game is off the hook bro. The graphics are great, the gameplay is great, also THERE ARE NO ADS NONE there is a little bit of in app purchases but nothing huge 2 to 3$ the story is downright insane (no spoilers) there’s this cool feature where during cutscenes you can chat and it will stay forever for others to see! Such a good game with lots of content AND they are updating regularly! Great job 👏 If you’re still here have a great day!

It’s only been a day or so (as of typing this) that I’ve been playing this game, and I have to say I am impressed! There not many high-quality free mobile games, but this one it high on my list of favorite mobile games, right next to Sky: Children of the Light.
Playing this feels almost more like watching an anime, it’s that good! I love the simple art design, the music and voice acting too!

I downloaded this because it looked cool and indeed it is. The rewards are so worth it it feels like your a pro already which is good. The difficulty of story mode is perfect. Not too hard but not too easy unlike other games where it’s too easy or too hard. What could be better is if your blades had more powers like a 2nd power for a blade. But other than that this game is the best game I have.

This is one of the best fighting games I’ve played, mobile or otherwise. It has amazing graphics and intuitive controls. The only problem is that it can be hard to time your dodges to certain attacks, but you can train or race to get more experience before continuing the story line. You level up fairly fast as well, depending on how much you play the game.

This game is really good, the combat and agility is super smooth for a somewhat stickman running game. I love how high quality the cutscenes are, and I can't believe there are no ads based on how new this game is. I think it's new. But I know someday the internet will classify this as "Cringe" and the game will lose its charm. But oh well, not everything is perfect. Everything loses its charm someday. I just hope for this game it isn't soon.

Typically I don’t leave many reviews, but when this game asked I thought I should in case anyone is thinking about downloading. It’s pretty fun, has a smooth set progression, plenty of material to keep you from getting bored, and some of the art in the game is seriously impressive. I’ve been having a lot of fun so far personally so I’d recommend checking it out.

This game is a runner type, where you constantly are running forward (and sometimes even backwards) during the main story mode of the game. Each and every level is unique and is honestly amazing. The type of art style is amazing and I couldn’t ask for more.

Great quality game definitely deserving of 10 stars if there was an option. NO ADS AT ALL. They give you the option to support them through buying things to help you progress and level up, so it’s a win-win if you decide to buy any upgrades or weapons.

Look when you advertise for something you wanna make it good I have seen all these annoying ads that literally are so dumb but the ads for this game made me wanna try so glad I did I love the art it is so cool mostly for the Kuro and his red scarf look so cool you can join clans and do bounties with other people so the chat rooms in the game is mostly people spamming bounty invites and the classes remind me of Naruto which make it even cooler and my problem with the game ABSOLUTELY NOTHING NATA it’s perfect for me perfect amount of action and strategy don’t even get me started on the weapons that makes everything even cooler And a note to the devs I love how you sneakily put yourselves in the game a nice touch please I would love to see more amazing games like this one- THANK U for the amazing game Kratos

I like this game a lot and it is quite different from other endless runner game. It brings back memories of a similar game I played in the past that I cannot find again. Although I love this game a lot, I have something to complain about. I feel the wish jade number is a bit too high, although I know why they do this (to make you wanna charge money for faster progress). I mean I do not mind it but I find it a big problem in the wish event. I charged quite a bit of money to try and get a weapon in the fire and ice wish event, but I still did not get it. I have done 10 10x draws and still cannot get it. I see there is a system to get it as a guaranteed after 18 10x draws, I find it a bit too high. I wish they could lower it or do other reworks to make it easier to get.

This game is one of the few games on planet Earth that deserves a perfect 5 star review. When I got this game ( Few months ago) I red reviews saying “this game has bad because it has bad spinning mechanics.” But it really doesn’t. And I am so happy to see the half year anniversary is up! You get awesome rewards, like your telling me in 3 days I get a legendary weapon I get to chose! Also, when people see this game they are like, “Well, you have to pay a lot to get skins!” First, you don’t need skins to play the game, and second this game has NO adds. The other reason why I adore this game is because of the fact when ever I log in I either get 300 gems or 3000 gems! So yeah, thanks pandada studios for making this game (:

I started this game just a few days after launch and fell in love, dishing out for some of the bundles and spending far more than I should for any mobile game. All was fine until somehow a coin purchase appeared on my screen that I did not initiate, taking all my jade I wanted to use on the new ninja summon. I did not use any of the coin and immediately opened a ticket requesting a reversal.
This was just a jade currency return, not cash. I was met with robotic responses saying they couldn’t reverse the transaction despite me ensuring I didn’t touch any of the purchased coin. I gave them a couple of extra chances while indicating I could no longer trust any further investments into the game and they would lose a paying customer, but each response was just the same parroting. Such a shame, because this game struck a chord with me, and I just wasted over $200 on a game company with crap customer service. Good luck if anything goes wrong for you …

Very very good in fact one of the best games I played the best game on my phone. I also have a way to make it even better. So, when you are near a boss of a weakling I call them you should have a button to kill them only with you sword or a sword button always because they are I’ll be enemy I want to kill but I can’t because I my magic is not finished to be used. But it’s very easy. Because in a few day I’m already have an a epic ice sword on like lvl50 senior 2 star ninja have 3 friends today I just found out how to friend them the first races I did I was in first them move to people who is better then them and now I’m in 8 so yeah I love this game thank you.

First off, let me start off with the fact that I was NOT expecting this game to be so AMAZING. The art is truly a big factor, along with the exquisite voice acting and cut scenes! This game is super fun, there are little to no ads. I’m loving the storyline and the multiplayer comp and leveling up my ninja! One of the most unique things in this game is it has that personal touch from the development team! Throughout the storyline, where there are short cut scenes, you can type in a chat, and those messages from players are displayed in the background of THAT cutscene. How. FREAKING. Cool is that?! I’m sorry but I don’t think I’ll ever love a free mobile game as much as Ninja Must Die!MM

There are only two mobile games ever truly loved, and this is one of them. To start off there artwork in this game is truly amazing, in fact it is so amazing I can’t even put it into words. Second there are so many things to do and so many modes. Third I think the game is very well balanced and makes it so you can’t just easily get legendary weapons or s their relics, but there not impossible to get, so this is why it’s very well balanced. I just want to that the devs for there amazing work and hope they have a successful career.

I love this game, play it everyday and I love the abyss challenge and the oni invasion and whatever event is going on at the time, but I’m constantly having a connection issue or sometimes the game freezes and crashes and is causing problems for me especially during 3v3 battles or during clan clash, and I have a very strong wifi signal and my data is 5g so I don’t understand why I keep getting connection issues or why the game is crashing, kind of upsetting whenever it’s a 3v3 match up and you’re in the lead just for the game to crash and cause you to lose a winning streak or a rank

Although I love the game. Its a cash grab. Any game that shows you "offers or deals" before you even play the game is trying to take your money. Its a paytowin game the progress you make playing for free is obsolete compared with the people that spend there money. So dont waste your time or money on this game bc these developers just want to take it and run. There is no future for this game, I know its new but for it to be this new and so polished its so painfully obvious that there strategy was to just bait and switch. Once the developers have leeched off of you enough they take it off the appstore. So I am giving this 4 stars. 4 for the iniative and -1 for there greediness.

Honestly this game is a 10/10 I love everything about it, if this was a series on Netflix I’d definitely watch it I also noticed that some of the weapons match the characters powers which is very cool over all amazing game I recommend who’s ever reading this to play

Edit: I know I wrote this a few days ago but I have a problem while the game is still good and I like the new pepper update but I notice something and that is the novice is gone from the some screen idk how to fix it but it’s like it just disappeared

This game is absolutely incredible. I have played many phone games throughout my life, (I am 22 years old by the way), and I have yet to find a better game. This game does NOT miss. The graphics are aesthetically satisfying, and just beautiful in general. The gameplay is perfectly balanced and exciting. Weapon/Equipment/Character concepts are fresh and entertaining. The community aspect of the game is wonderfully broad and entices communication between players. The developers pay great attention to the users and appeal to concerns frequently and with haste.
I have never been so impressed by an IOS-game. So if you read this review, give the game a chance. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
