I purchased the pro app. It is now showing as expired in March 2023 …the date I purchased it. What happened to my subscription?

Every single time I go into the app I have to “restore purchase” in order to use any of the “pro” features.
It also says that it’s a monthly charge yet took out the whole years amount instead. I did not have that much money available and had to move money around. I also don’t like that if I try to edit something it will change the font and revert it to normal font if I had it in italics or bolds. It’s very frustrating, especially since I only wanted to try it for a month on pro to see if I liked it and am now stuck with it.

UPDATE: I paid for the "pro" yearly VIP and it STILL shows ads! This is super upsetting as I assumed the ads would go away with the subscription.
This app is a fantastic competitor with Day 1 journal, has a lot of features that I love like calendar view, mood tracker, different backgrounds, etc. But you can't sync your data with the cloud in any way. Case in point, my phone died and I had to reinstall the app and there was no way to get my data back. It's lost! Just something to consider for the future. I know that's a difficult piece of engineering to attain, but for the premium service it seems like the least they could do.

It’s a great app! it doesn’t have any negative qualities I just recommend adding a few more things to give it some vibrance.
I find myself always wanting to draw something because some emotions or experiences are best demonstrated when drawn so I recommend adding some kind of pencil to draw something. Also varying with the fonts would be another thing I’d add. I actually think there are a lot of things that you can add maybe if I found all of these things in the permanent subscription I’d buy it.
