I wanted a trial run of this app after seeing some ads on TikTok. There are subscription options of $15/month and $5/month for a whole year. I selected a standard 1-month subscription and then saw two charges on my account: a $0 charge and a $60 charge.

this app’s terms of service (which they tell you after you pay) is that they WON’T refund anything and you can have an active subscription without even using Bloom . I haven’t done anything on Bloom yet, and now looking at it I think it’s trash and scamming people out of money. this app also insists that as a user you would have given consent for the amount to be withdrawn (I never did) and won’t refund me. Disputing with my bank.

I also can’t remove my credit card information or delete my account now, so as far as I can tell I’ll me charged any amount this app sees fit at any time. Just read all the other critical reviews here.

If you’re new to investing, let me save you some money right off the bat by telling you there is absolutely no reason you should be paying a monthly fee just to invest. There are hundreds if not thousands of other platforms out there that are COMPLETELY free to use, no monthly fees or commission. Them teaching you isn’t even worth that $8 a month. There are other platforms out there that will teach you, again.. free of charge. Additionally, there’s so many free articles out there as well as Investopedia.

I downloaded Bloom just because I saw you can get “up to $75 in stock” from learning.. I figured why not when I’m bored, but Bloom only gave me a measly $2.50.. then expected me to pay $8 to claim it? Then telling me that I should pay because I still have the chance to win $75? Gotta be a joke. I didn’t expect to get $75, I’m sure only 0.2% of users get that.. but $2.50!? Honestly so confused how Bloom has so many five star ratings.

The very limited information you see when signing up for Bloom is misleading. I feel like I was lead to believe that the $120 you must pay when signing up is the $$ your child will use to invest, but that is NOT the case (I assume that is why there is so little information provided). Once you pay $120 (which they will charge even if you don’t fully complete the registration) they still require you provide funding for your child to invest. I like the idea of Bloom but I felt like I was ripped off once I realized the charge wasn’t going to my child’s account.

SHE MAY HAVE DELETED THE THREAD BUT I STILL HAVE THE CONVERSATION SAID BECAUSE I HAVE A FEELING SHE WAS GOING TO BE SHADY BY HER RESPONSES!!!

this app used to be an amazing app, however they have turned out to be just like ever other sleazy company! They pull us in with rewards for us being their customers only for them to rip them away to benefit the company and screw their very customer base! What’s WAY WORSE is I contacted this app only for them to get sassy and ask me if would be better for them to “increase costs”! So they admitted to stripping away our rewards! I would bet money that they will “increase cost” even though they already made all these cuts to the rewards! Thank you for showing me that I do not matter at all as the customer this app!!

I downloaded this as a teen and 15$ got taken without any confirmation or notice. I’m extremely frustrated that there is no EASIER way to refund the 15$. It has been 3 days and i have STILL been trying to get it back. There should at-least be a confirmation but no. It takes it straight from your bank account. I cannot explain my frustration right now and support has not helped me in any way. Even if I ever do get my 15$ back, the work and stress I had to go through to get it back is unbearable and an awfully annoying process. I hope Bloom can make it easier for teens to get their money back. I will be reaching higher authorities and reporting this dumb app☠️

When I was a teenager and downloaded this, $15 was taken from me without my knowledge or consent. The fact that there is no EASIER way to get the 15 dollars back irritates me to no end. I've been attempting to get it back for three days now. If not, then there ought to be at least a confirmation. It withdraws money directly from your bank account. Currently, I am unable to express my frustration, and assistance has not been of any assistance. Even if I ever got my $15 back, the effort and stress I had to go through to do so was intolerable, and the procedure was really frustrating. I'm hoping that using this software would make it simpler for teenagers to receive their money back. I will report this stupid application to higher authorities.

Yes I said it I don’t even know what we are supposed to do after getting Bloom I summited every information they asked me and still couldn’t get in, it has been 1 month since I got Bloom and I didn’t even buy 1 stock. It says user review I told this problem to customer service but there response didn’t help me and I kept having this problem if your looking for more of an easier investment app for your teen I recommend find other easier apps that let you in on 1 day.

There’s quite a few things they don’t tell you, like the $10/month subscription actually being $120 for the year all at once. I signed up for Bloom and woke up to a $120 withdrawal from them. They took almost all of what I had left in my account and left me with only a few dollars. They also say you don’t have to start with any money however there’s no way to exit when they prompt you to deposit money to buy stock, besides just closing Bloom entirely. Bloom also had only worked for a few hours and has been down for 2 days now being “fixed”. I’m currently trying to get my money back from them.

I was still trying out Bloom , looked it up, seemed legit, so I was trying to set up an investing account which prompted me to subscribe first. After subscribing and paying $60 in advance, I was asked to fill out some details that do not apply to me. The subscription and payment should be the last step after you make sure the customer is eligible and not before. I have no use for Bloom and I just lost my money. I contacted them to see how I can fix it and they just said they can’t refund since I used Bloom . Of course I used it to figure it out and see if it works for me or not. I am so disappointed. I have never paid this much money for an app but I risked it because I have been struggling with other apps and Bloom seemed to be useful until I learned I have no use for it if i’m not eligible for investing.

Really? A monthly fee. $10!! For the parents. there are teens on Bloom not knowing what’s happening. Robinhood is free. Why can’t this be? Because you’re taking advantage of the parents money and you’re enjoying it.
Admit it! You just want the money. It’s almost impossible for anyone to earn $10 from stocks in 1 month and teens might not have the money to spend on a ton of stocks.
Some parents will simply say no to providing these teens with money to buy stocks.
Overall, this is not the ideal app for teen investing. Price is outrageous knowing teens and how they’ll take the money out immediately!

I was very skeptical about it at first, because it was too good to be true. But I really do think it’s insane. People have to pay $120 just to start investing, and I missed that part where I was on a free trial, and that they would be charging me after. But thank God I always put my cash app card just in case they try to charge me. There’s literally no money in the card so they wouldn’t be able to take money out, even if they wanted to. But now I’m trying to find a way to cancel the subscription but they’re not even answering my emails so they’re just gonna have to keep running into a decline card from now on. Lol

But I do strongly recommend reading everything before pressing OK or confirm because that’s how people take your money. Oh, and always sign up with your Apple email. That way it’s easier for you to cancel in your Apple settings than on the website because this app app is making it so difficult to cancel the subscription and I don’t even know why.

I heard a lot of good things about this app so i decided to try it out, Bloom does wonderful work when it comes to teaching you about stocks. The problem i had was creating a brokerage account, puerto rico is a U.S colony where its citizens are born with U.S citizenship, this app doesn’t recognize this, i payed the $15 for nothing due to this lack of information. Id gladly give Bloom another chance if this issue is resolved and updated, otherwise i will find a way to receive my refund

Don’t get me wrong this is a great app but there is one massive issue that brings it down. If you are a teen using Bloom you need parental support which isn’t the issue, the issue is that for you to invest, that parent needs to pay 15$ per month just for u to invest which makes absolutely no sense, you have to pay to pay? Apart from that tho they do give some free classes that teach you how to invest which id very good at the end of the day but it does just seem like it’s a money grab if you actually want to invest, would not recommend.

My husband signed my son up for an account and he got a free stock, we deposited a little money for him to try it out and start learning about stocks and learning how to invest correctly instead of just buying stocks because he likes that company… but the only problem we have, there is no way to withdrawal the funds. He was so excited he gained $15 on a stock he purchased for $7 and it grew to $15. So he decided to sell it and wanted to withdrawal it to put with his allowance he’s been saving to buy a new video game, but it doesn’t give the parents an option to withdrawal the child’s funds. On the child’s side of Bloom , it does have a withdrawal option but when you click it, it says only a parent can’t withdrawal funds but there is no option on the parents side to withdrawal any funds but only deposit. Hopefully this gets fixed soon or we will have to close the account down because if we’re not able to withdrawal the funds then, there is no point in using Bloom because we don’t have money to just give away.

Wanted to see what the TikTok fuss was. Looks like they do specify that they bill you annually for the “monthly price” they list. It’s deceptive because it should just state the annual price.

They give you three stocks. I got Microsoft Tesla and Apple. To me that’s three shares but of course they give you minuscule amounts of three shares.

You can get the exact opposite, better, by just opening an account at a brokerage. this app charges you 120/yr whereas if you open an account at fidelity, they give you 100$. Also, fidelity has really good learning tools and their people don’t mind spending time with you until you understand a concept. (Margin vs cash, settlement, buy to open vs sell to open for options, good faith trades, day trading limits (25k$) etc etc.)

Save your money and go check out the free learning available on any of the brokerage sites.

Most important lesson for teens: pay as little in fees as you possibly can. It can add up to like a third of your portfolio.

Anyway this app, I’m sure you’ll give me a hey there, call support at this app dot com but how about why that isn’t an option if you haven’t set up brokerage or linked a bank yet.

I have very basic investing and financial knowledge, and I enjoy the simple game nature of stuff like Duolingo. So I got this app to brush up, learn and do a little investing along the way.

Paying $60 for the year seems like a fine idea when you first start using Bloom , because they’re rewarding you a lot in the beginning and giving you fragments, which turn into real stocks. But three weeks in I have completed every lesson, and earned more fragments through some of their games, and I have $15 worth of stock, you can’t earn much more than that. And the games you are left with after the lessons are legit predatory gambling, complete opposite of solid financial advice. I would sincerely not recommend this to a teenager if you’re a parent thinking about getting it for a kid. The lessons are very basic, and your time could be better spent elsewhere.

Great idea, but clearly the greed of the developers made this into a money grab.

Bloom has a TON of bugs. I’ve gone through all the lessons and some I have had to redo because Bloom had bugs regularly. Farming the “oinks” is very glitchy. I was locked out of Bloom for days for whatever reason and it has since been working, didn’t have the news feature available and it took days to get fixed. The “fragments” of stock that were offered made the poor quality of Bloom worth it because you would be able to gain additional assets for using Bloom but in the last month you get less from loot boxes, they’ve added additional companies to offer fragments for which makes it even harder to gain any shares since now there are so many to collect, plus they’ve raised the in game currency cost of the boxes to give fragments. Now they say BUY LOOT BOXES AND OINKS to earn asking for more money. Learning helps but it isn’t great. Better off with something like Fidelity at this point. App was worth it when you felt you were able to earn a very small amount of free stocks but a more professional better supported app would be more helpful. I’ll be switching over to a different app once my year I paid is up.

I really like the lessons. I hope I learn a lot. I look forward to all the lessons I will have.

Update:
Bloom seems to need a lot of work. My account has had frequent bugs that I have reported and the team seems slow in contacting me back. I don’t know if it is worth the $60 I spent on subscription. I hope they get things sorted out. Here are some of the issues:
- doesn’t give double credit to mastery levels when oink multiplier is on
- voice reading and words don’t match up
- payment method for subscription switched cards without me telling it to
- removed some of my “free” stock they gave me
- scratch a stock doesn’t seem to be random (you will get the lowest reward each time)
- gives people more stock for writing 5 star reviews
- displays full SS# in non-password protected documents (instead of last 4 only)
- can’t figure out how to start a new communication in their app for support
- oink multiplier expired before 24 hours were up
- tries to open a document up in zoom
- switched how many points I could earn from 2000 to 1000 without any notification or reason
- is currently having a lot of issues with autoplay in lessons (not closing previous lesson, skipping to lesson and/or mastery quiz)

Unfortunately these issues didn’t appear until I signed up and PAID. I feel like a beta tester and they should give free stock to people who report bugs to them. Also the screenshots on their Apple Store page are old.
Ultimately I regret subscribing.

Let me be clear: this is a good app. HOWEVER, it charges your parents a $15 dollar fee every month. Not only does it not say that literally anywhere, it got me in trouble with my parents because I did not tell them about the fee even though I had no idea BECAUSE Bloom DOESNT SAY THAT. It doesn’t say it when you download it, it doesn’t say that when you deposit money, it doesn’t say it in Bloom Store, or anything. I thought Bloom was great until I found this out. I’m taking my money out and finding another app. Overall very disappointed. Two stars.

i like Bloom and how you can legally invest for teens and how you can gain free stocks from quizzes from learning about stock but i made a couple dollars of stocks and i sold it but the money never went into my this app wallet i sold and the money just disappeared pretty much

I've only had Bloom for a couple months, and I was having fun zooming through the lessons. I'm not really cool with the fact that they suddenly took away the ability to share lessons for more coins limited times per hour, with no explanation even when I asked the little robot guy in Bloom . That was part of my routine every hour while I'm doing other work on my phone. Of course that wasn't my ONLY incentive to do the lessons, but taking away one of the few ways for me to earn coins on an app that I pay $60 a year for is scummy. They added new things within the same update, but those are ways to spend coins, not earn them. I won't be renewing next year. I don't have time to farm coins the way you want me to if I'm really meant to get my money's worth.

At first I was so obsessed with Bloom! It’s a fun way to learn to invest ! The only issues I have is that there is not a lot of ways to earn oinks . Most of the ways you can earn oinks is limited to 24 hours . For example: with the flashcards I can earn 240 oinks per day but I’ve seen it glitch twice on me where I reach my limit of 240 then the next morning when I have a new limit of 240 it’ll say I only completed 204 … so obviously when I try to earn more points that new day it’ll limit me to 36 since it believes I didn’t hit the limit the day before . Also, idk if it’s just me but I finished the lessons really quick and am trying to earn the stock fractions by buying the common lot box but it keeps giving me oink multiplier even though I can no longer earn oinks because the oinks only multiply with questions answered right…. I wish it would just give me fractions that I CAN use and get something out of. If you’re going to try it out I recommend for you to not purchase the whole year since it’s a little too pricy for all the glitches.

Bloom is very good for learning how to trade. It educates you on types of stock what trades to take etc. However the charts are really weird, at one point the charts said JP Morgan Bank & Co. was down 60%. This freaked me out. Then I went to TradingView and it showed that the stock was perfectly normal. There is multiple other examples of this like bitcoin being down 7%. Overall Bloom is good for learning the basics of stock trading, I’m not going to use any of their strategies because I trade off equilibrium. Bloom is however not a good source to go by for stock values and price action, it’s also not a good place to make trades I wouldn’t recommend anyone use Bloom as their broker because of how misleading the market on Bloom is.

Now that I’ve learned more I have to change my review. The reason is because just about every day at market open, Bloom suddenly becomes unresponsive and it takes FOREVER to load my portfolio information. Buying and selling will get stuck in processing and you can’t back out of it or anything, you just have to wait for it to finish trying to connect, which in volatile stocks can cause a huge issue especially in the morning when the market first opens up. It’s extremely frustrating to have to sit there waiting for Bloom to load my figures and be able to see the information since everything is changing so quickly in real time.

If they can fix this I’ll change my review back to a higher rating.

Bloom started out really great and I most definitely have gotten my money’s worth - but I will not be renewing my subscription when it is up simply because they have gone the way all apps have gone - the path of greed over service. I used to get at least one stock for every 3-5 chest I opened - now it’s been a few months. You can only earn so many links through the lessons and once you’ve taken all the lessons, potential for earning stocks or links to earn stocks goes WAY down. The fact they started selling oinks also goes to show they care more about making money than helping people learn, which was apparently the original reason for Bloom. That’s fine, it’s their app and they can do what they want - but when one isn’t even getting their money’s worth anymore, it’s time to jump ship.

I first saw Bloom whilst on TikTok. I at first wasn't interested into it due to it being an investment app and i'm 16 and still in high school but i wanted to give it a try since it wouldn't hurt and i'm starting to like it! i learn the basics about investing and what stocks are and how they work as well as what type of stocks could work well for the long run as I grow into an adult and my money grows (hopefully) with me! Only downside I didn't pay attention to was I needed a guardian to look after my stuff so it was a awkward talk with my mom since she didn't know anything about it either and was pessimistic about me looking into stocks. Over all I think this a good app to approach investing for the future of my life and portfolio and i'd love to show my friends about it if they're interested!

Great app, my only issue is that I can’t use my own credit card on my own account. In order to properly use Bloom you need a parents credit card in order to properly use Bloom . Putting your credit card or debit card on your parents phone and connecting it to Bloom is an option but it doesn’t make sense to do it that way.

So the whole idea and layout is great; the coins “oinks” are such a great idea, the only problem about them is, when I have tried to play the game “guess the market cap” it would kick me off of Bloom and take my coins (oinks) and would not let me return to the game so I would just lose the oinks this also happened with “mystery wheel” but I believe only once.

So I have Bloom for 2 days and it’s serving its purpose fine and all and it’s helped me get a early start on investing. But the one reason
I give this 4 star is because I have to check my parents phone to actually see if I gained or loss anything because my phones app does not seem to be up too date. But other than that you should try Bloom out.

I use this app everyday and made good money. I could make a review about everything good they do but this is focused on bad things to potentially fix. For one, prices obviously change on here very fast, which makes it very hard to buy 1 full share rather than 1.01 or 0.98. You cant put only cents into buying a share so you have to go up to the full dollar if it happens. 2, the charts are inconsistent at times and show u were at a price 30 minutes ago you were never at. 3, the chart should be a little smaller than the phone screen to see the very front and end. Last, The spin the wheel and other games seem rigged once u won too much. Ive scratched dozens of free cards and never got anything higher than $1. Great app tho

My 17-year old son asked me to help him set up a this app account after learning about it at school. I looked into Bloom and decided to give it a try. Bloom has really sparked his interest in financial literacy and investing. He is actually looking into majoring in business with a focus in financial planning, and he is loving the educational modules in Bloom . Highly recommended!

I’ve been using this app since it’s beta days and I have to say it’s a pretty good app. Unlike other custodial investment accounts, it actually gives the teen the opportunity to invest in the companies they believe in. The support is also great on Bloom and the staff are very friendly. They also have a discord server that is helpful for beginner investors

there are so many great things i have to say about this app - i totally recommend to any teens who want to get involved in investing. it’s also great because it has modules that teach beginners about the fundamentals of investing. parents can also set restrictions and monitor the activity of their child so that everyone is on the same page. i’m a teen who has been using this app for a while and i’ve had a great experience - highly recommend!!!

I’m a young woman who’s never known anything about stocks - but Bloom holds your hand every step of the way! Unfortunately you need to pay a minimum of $80 to even get started, but I don’t regret it one bit! It comes with multiple lessons to teach you about stocks, a dictionary to keep track of all these confusing words, and a game-like app currency which allows you to redeem loot boxes for free stocks! Its educational, detailed, and fun! While it’s true Bloom gives you a stock if you leave a review - I genuinely enjoy Bloom and would recommend it to anyone with 0 ideas of how stocks work :)

Before this app I did not understand investing. I was on TikTok and came across a random question from AskReddit. The question was simple, “People who work for multi-millionaires, what crazy things have you seen?” One of the comments that were selected talked about a dad who encouraged his son to do self learning such as Khan Academy, Duolingo, and Coursera. Well the son wanted to get into investing and the dad recommended Bloom to him. Within 2 months the son profited $270 from the lessons Bloom had provided with just the free stocks he had obtained from using the oink coins. I think it’s crazy that you can make money and learn at the same time. I was very concerned in the beginning but I have become sold on this for I even have had great luck and time learning from the lessons. I can’t say more good enough things about it. There is a subscription fee but I think it’s worth it. Pay the $60 for the annual plan and just start grinding the knowledge Bloom has to offer. Yes can you obtain this knowledge for free else where? Of course but what Bloom exceeds at is the nice little package it puts everything in at your fingertips so you can just learn and grow. I recommended this 10/10.

I really recommend this app. It's worth the price because of the education, confidence, and safety it gives you. Plus I reached out to the team with questions and they walked me through everything personally! I had other apps like Robinhood before, but I mainly just lost out or if I was lucky I was only gaining like a few cents. They didn't really help, they incentivized me to buy when I shouldn't have. this app shows me risk ratings, analyst ratings and stats in a super simple but comprehensive way. They show you what everything means, so even to a complete noob like I was, everything just made sense. It made me feel so much more comfortable. Cannot recommend more!!

Bloom seems like the best tool for someone of any age to not only learn about investing, but actively participating at the same time. I think the coolest part of Bloom is the fact that you can be rewarded FREE stock portions for Progression I’m your learning. For anyone who genuinely enjoys learning, this has to be one of the coolest features I’ve seen. The one hour timer until you can make coins again is also cool; I thought I’d hate it but it forces me to take a break and remember what being a human is like before I dive back in in 45 min lol. Overall: AMAZING APP AND CONCEPT!! (Also, I am totally open to a sponsorship if you’re looking for a snowboarder to rep a big flower jacket on the slopes ☺️)

I downloaded Bloom right before the big market “crash” but that hasn’t changed my review (as this app can do nothing about the market).

I’ve had quite a few technical difficulties in Bloom (most of which have been my fault! Not blooms) and I’ve contented support and revived help incredibly quickly.

I love the “learn” feature, as I’m learning about the market and how it works, while also earning free stocks. It’s a great way to motivate people to learn about something that can change their lives.

I highly recommend getting Bloom!

When I first heard of this app I was a bit skeptical of what it promised, but I’m pretty blown away. While it’s an app designed for teenagers, I think the module and tech-forward approach to learning is incredibly accessible to young adults or anyone trying to learn investing for the first time. I would love to see more apps like this that cover other subjects beside financing, but this app will have to do for now!

I’m not keen on the subscription to get access to deeper app features, but this app gives you plenty of opportunities to earn “free” stocks. That, alongside the easily digestible learning, is value enough for me. Give it a shot!

I'm going into my first year of college and l've never had a lot of access to financial advice. I've watched YT videos and read books, but nothing really stuck and I couldn't really keep up with it. I've really started to budget, even opened a Roth IRA, and am investing in ETFs (which I didn't even know existed) so l'll have thousands growing once I'm out of college.

They didn't really help, they incentivized me to buy when I shouldn't have. this app shows me risk ratings, analyst ratings and stats in a super simple but comprehensive way. They show you what everything means, so even to a complete noob like I was, everything just made sense. It made me feel so much more comfortable. Cannot recommend more!!

I was on TikTok and came across a random question from AskReddit. The question was simple, "People who work for multi-millionaires, what crazy things have you seen?" One of the comments that were selected talked about a dad who encouraged his son to do self learning such as Khan Academy, Duolingo, and Coursera. Well the son wanted to get into investing and the dad recommended Bloom to him. Within 2 months the son profited $270 from the lessons Bloom had provided with just the free stocks he had obtained from using the oink coins. So I started it out a few days ago now and I’ve learned so much about stocks and markets im so greatful because it’s helps me with my school work too

this app is the best investing app out there for beginners and novices alike. It’s really aimed at the non experienced or anyone new to the stock game, but can be a good resource for the well experienced stock shareholder. Easy to learn and really fun exercises and learning activities you can try on Bloom that I must admit are hard to stop once you start. this app has a way of making the stock market easy to understand and enjoyable. They also have a great way of teaching definitions and going over tutorials that make learning actually fun and worthwhile. And the best part this app gives out a ton of stock that you can win over playing several different kinds of games or activities. Earn points use those points to get stock it’s so fun. They even give free stock when you first sign up. I really like Bloom use it much more than my other captital gaining programs out there. Great work this app thanks!!!

When my teen asked me to download this app, at first I wasn’t sure. After giving it a shot, I can proudly say that I now have a teen investor. My son will not stop talking about the education modules he takes, and to his friends how he’s a part owner in Google. this app has been great at teaching my kid financial basics and I recommend every parent I talk to. I’ve been using this app for about 4 months now, and I have to say it is amazing. I’m in a parent sponsored account since I’m under 18, which gives parents potential for full control over funding on the account. I’ve learned a tremendous amount since I began the lessons on this app. One of the best features in my opinion is the Oink System. Oinks serve as virtual currency that can be used to buy streak, saves, multipliers, mini games, “Scratch a stock” and “Guess the stock”. These two features let you buy or guess stocks up to $25 with the oinks earned in lessons and from daily trivia. Overall I feel like this app is a great starting place for new investors like me, and they open us to great investing potential in the future.

Great app, it not only teaches younger people like myself on how to invest but it also gives a chance for opportunity, it is a good starting place to invest with and mess around, I say use it in the beginning because it literally has a course and quizzes that will literally give you free cash to invest with, their help team is awesome if you have any questions or concerns.

Over the last two months, I have been with zoom. I’m a teenager, so I originally thought it was going to be difficult to get into trading. However, my experience with this app was different, The created modules and quizzes that help you learn about beginner trading are extremely helpful when you are trying to get into the world of the stock market. Overall, this app has been great for me! I would recommend it to teens looking to make money in the long term!

30 years old girl who was raised on a farm in MI in a small farm town graduated with a class of 67…never got any education when it came to money, saving, taxes, investing, credit cards, i knew ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about stocks, investing or anything related to this topic, never been smart with money, racked up about 10k in debt by the time I was 20, I ignored it for 9 years and just got on the path to paying off my debt in smart ways and getting my credit back and on my way to buying my first home..I was always curious and interested when I would hear people talk about them or hear mention of stock market related stuff on the news. Over heard my boss say his son who is 8 years younger than me bought his own home because he had some crazy luck in the stock market and that blew my mind and instantly promoted me to start researching how to learn about this kind of stuff. Almost every article and Reddit thread recommended Bloom. It’s been less than a week and I love every single thing about it so far and I have learned so much and I’m so excited to keep learning more
And build an investment profile that will payoff someday in my future and be something I look back on in 60 years and be happy I took this time to educate and invest in myself. USE Bloom!! :)

So far Bloom has been great. I think the only thing that’s the catch is the $60 yearly fee but that honestly covers the lessons and the free stocks you get in Bloom . Before when I first posted I said I think eventually I may stop using Bloom because of the $60 yearly cost but the additional add ons they are building into Bloom like the portfolio breakdown and additional features and lessons make it worthwhile to keep subscribing. I do hope that they continue to improve Bloom and maybe even incorporate more accurate data analysis and breakdown and add more complex lessons. There’s always room to improve!

Honestly wasn’t expecting a whole lot from this after being let down by every other stock guru on the internet but was pleasantly surprised. Yes, you will eventually have to put money in, but you put money into the stock market to get money anyway, what’d you expect? At least now it’s going somewhere that teaches you what it’s doing. Bloom genuinely breaks every aspect of the stock market down into understandable and easy to navigate lessons, takes whichever and however many you want, they are short and get the point across quickly, and then show you how to apply that knowledge in the actual stock market. Highly recommend.

I just got started up on Bloom i understand most to all of the things within your app but I have a issue, recently I have entered card info into the tab on the front page where it says I can enter card info and I have no way to access that information I am 17 years old my parent still hasn’t signed up but if there is no way I can see account information within Bloom

I’ve been using this app for a while now to monitor my teen’s learning progress. It was super easy to setup & the support team is amazing! I can’t wait to see the learning part of Bloom expand and appreciate the new allowance method this app gives our family. Sometimes my son spends too much on games so now, I give him half of his allowance through this app. This way his money is always used productively! We walk through the investing decisions together and love using this app’s risk ratings and time machine. Great work to the this app team!

Bloom is not only a investment app to place money but it also gives you a good insight on investing too. Bloom is really organized and easy to find different things, and it’s easy to start. Bloom has things called kinks which you can use to join giveaways or get stocks. Overall it’s a 10/10 recommendation

This has been an amazing app and very educational but i had one problem. When i bought scratch a stock on Bloom it took away my coins (Oinks). Obviously no app is perfect so I messaged this app customer support using Bloom and they got right back to me and within 2 hours the problem was fixed and i had my coins (Oinks) back. If your looking for an app with a simple and educational system that will be sure to take care of any problem you have make sure you look into this one.

Bloom is really fun and convenient. I have fun learning while also learning new ways to invest and save. Starting early is the best choice for any teen who wants to make money. The customer service is also very nice and helpful and I would recommend asking them if you have a problem with anything.

Practically I’m trying to use Bloom as a 19 year old still learning what to do with her money, and how I could spend it to my own advantages instead of wasting it like I usually do, rather then that I would love to actually learn the basic knowledge for stocks, and learn how to do it correctly, I’ve watched so many videos and it still really doesn’t add up, so I think Bloom should be available for all ages not just teens, because adults need to learn about stocks too

I think that this app is a great app but there’s minor things that need adjusting, such as the daily quiz not being available when the notification is sent out and how on the learn tab, you cannot sort between new/in progress lesson plans and the lesson plans that you have already completed, meaning you have to scroll through all of the lesson plans to find the one you’re looking for. I think some organization in that area would be good. Besides those two things I think Bloom is great and I can’t wait to see it improve as time passes.

I think the $15 a month or $120 a year is a fair price, and I really love Bloom. For the past few weeks I’ve been on Bloom everyday learning and researching new stocks and it makes everything easy! One thing I would want to change though is the daily trivia glitching and not letting me take the quiz immediately when it’s available. Besides this, it’s all great, keep updating and making Bloom great!

I really like using this app but in a few years I’ll be 18 so from then on I don’t think I’ll be using this app anymore, esp if Bloom is made for teens. So if you move to another brokerage/trading platform I was curious to know if you could convert/transfer/move what you have in this app to the new platform. Say it’s this app to something like acorns or this app to something like a fidelity account. Would it be possible for either? I was also wondering because if you have a certain amount of stock or shares in a company and got it for less, when you move to the new brokerage would you have what’s from this app or would you have to go ahead and buy that stock for the newer/higher price?

I just started and I can’t be more happier to start investing. Just your parent needs to approve and you can start investing. Very glad this app is there.

Before Bloom I had next to no clue about anything related to investing. The only resource I had was looking at random videos online that were always contradicting each other. Once I downloaded Bloom and started the lessons things finally started making sense and the details started falling into place. I love the fact that the lesson break down even the most basic things and gives you the tools you need to make informed decisions about anything you invest in. Bloom is honestly geared toward teens but could be just as useful for any adult who is looking for a place to start. The lessons are are easy to understand and if you still have questions or aren't understanding something there is an option to ask questions as well. Definitely recommend this to anybody looking start investing.

The whole process as a whole is very easy and interesting. so like Bloom specifically for those reasons. not that much required for a set up, and Bloom itself is overall very addicting. I’ve definitely learned a lot from being on Bloom, and I’ve only been on Bloom for just a little. The lessons are very cute, and very teen oriented. so you don’t have to worry about it feeling like a boring personal finance class. Also, there a lot of lessons available, so you can pick and choose what interests you the most. I love the little games! I play the three card game a lot (I’ve definitely lost a lot of money from it but oh well). There are a few small glitches or inconsistencies that I see that could be fixed, but overall the oppose very well made, and very useful!

I really like Bloom! i’ve learned so much about the stock market and there are so many lessons to learn! from vocabulary to assets and crypto…literally you can learn about so much. also you don’t have to buy a full share on Bloom! you can put in however much money you want in a stock! it can be anywhere from 1 dollar to 1000 dollars. i think this is the perfect app if you know absolutely nothing about the market and even if you know a lot there’s much more to know about!

I believe everyone who is starting out or getting back into trading stock should have Bloom. Bloom teaches you great financial skills and teaches you a lot about credit, managing your money, and trading. One of the best financial literacy apps out there. Another useful tip Bloom can teach you is about budgeting and using your budget to slingshot you into the right direction. I have gotten my wife and my sister to download Bloom and they have also told me they learned a lot from it.

Honestly if I had to compare this app, I would compare it to Duolingo. It has streaks, easy to understand learning, and hearts. Although it’s quicker to regain ur hearts. It comes with videos, audio, and text, so that way whichever way you learn best, they accommodate to your style of learning. They make it quick an easy to invest with a bunch of information on the companies you’re investing in so you don’t invest blindly. 10/10 would recommend if you’re a stock/investment dummy like me. They also reward you for learning about investing by giving you free stocks, and a chance to win more stocks. They have loot boxes which you can gain by using a fake currency called oink, you get the currency by learning, taking short quizzes and getting the answers right. It’s like a mini learning game while making money, investing your own money, and building up your own wealth.

This is a scam app. They get your child to invest money and then freeze their account until the parents pay $15 per month. They gave me 14 days notice and then say my child will lose access to her stocks if I don't pay it. This was promoted as a free app and now they are charging with very little notice or stealing your child's money. It hasn't even hit their deadline and they froze her account so she can't sell her stocks and withdraw her funds. BEWARE!!!
