Follow these steps to resolve intermittent AuroraReach app issues:

Force Stop the AuroraReach App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click AuroraReach app. » click "Force Stop".

Update AuroraReach to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear AuroraReach App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "AuroraReach app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch AuroraReach.

Fix AuroraReach unable to contact server/ AuroraReach internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click AuroraReach » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got AuroraReach » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch AuroraReach on android.

We track ~24K cities around the world for aurora activity and weather conditions. Realtime aurora map shows the aurora activity on the map and you can interact with the map to select the cities we are tracking from map and having activity at that time. Web page has sighting specific pages to chat on realtime aurora sighting, this will be released soon in AuroraReach version too. Enjoy hunting auroras with this app and find your next aurora destination with AuroraReach. Along with aurora, weather conditions are also predicted for up to 4 days.
