Must-have for medical interpreters

RogersDictionary makes it very easy to find terms. It works offline, so you can use it anywhere. You can even search acronyms, which is not easy to do in a printed dictionary. The collection of common phrases comes in handy to familiarize yourself with common dialogues between providers and patients in different specialties. I highly recommend it.

Great app, sounds could be louder

Great dictionary for medical terms in Spanish with back and forth translation. Also has suggested phrases for H&P, physical exam, past medical history, social history and family history. Only suggestion is make the audio for the words louder.

An essential tool, properly digitized

Roger’s Dictionary is an absolutely essential tool for any Spanish<>English medical interpreter or translator. My paper copy of this book is falling apart, as I’ve consulted it thousands of times over my 27-year career in interpreting and translation.

Very thorough!

RogersDictionary is practical and easy to use. It includes recordings of dictionary items as well as a “phrase book.” All of this is very useful.

Excellent resource!

A must to have on your cellphone/tablet as a medical interpreter. Helps to easily find the correct medical term without wasting time on non medical alternative meanings.
