I made an enquiry from the customer support before I decided to use Payday for a payment I was assured of how seamless the service is which promoted me to try it out. Considering that the purchase I was trying to use the virtual dollar card for is huge I tried transferring a small amount which was deposited almost immediately, I decided to deposit a larger amount and it’s been almost 24hrs I’m still yet to receive the money in my this app app neither do I have the reversal of the money in my account. I contacted my bank first thing today to know if the transaction was successful and I was assured to contact the other person I sent the money to as the money have been deposited to the person account till now I’m still yet to receive my money and I’m almost at the deadline for the purchase I wanted to make also the customer service takes hours to respond to complaint. I hate to do this but I wouldn’t recommend this service to anymore. If I could do a zero star I honestly would . This people have me on ropes cause I’m about to lose a lot of money to them.

I could not withdraw from the virtual card and when logging back in, a transfer had been done from the card to a said “Blessing Oko”. Forget that money but even to close the account, not possible. I had to contact them through instagram and I was blocked by their Paydaysupport handle, the other handle is yet to respond. Even after someone finally responding to my chat via the online app, it was a one liner and I quote “Are the funds still on your card “. Shouldn’t they know from the backend. I don’t usually fall for such but I believe this is a scam and I will take it up to the highest level. They should be blocked from App Store, Wema Bank which a sub account was created and all other platforms. I now have to reach out to my contact at Efcc and send a mail to CBN in this regard. I strongly advise staying away from Payday or so called institution.

I started using Payday from when they started and with each passing update they have gotten worse now they attracted people with free dollar and naira transfers as it stands they no longer offer that now let’s talk about the bare minimum which is fast transactions they can’t even offer that because there is no guarantee a transfer can even be successful with this app the truth is I won’t advise my worst enemy to patronize them if there was anything worse than one star that is this app.

Your customer service is very poor and bad you guys don’t reply message I don’t know where else we can reach your official support, due to the bad customer service I got hacked up by a scam he told me he was a customer representative which I explain my experience to him concerning Payday then he sent me a link for me to click on which I did to make a better complaint the next thing I saw was an otp email which I Input it immediate all my funds was wiped off please I need a help and be refunded i wonder how it happened it was moved to a chipper cash account 😭😭😭😭

This is the worst app on earth,at first when I started using it,it seems promising later along the line everything halted. I sent money to top up virtual card,it’s 2days i am unable to top up card to pay server bills and they company is on my neck,the balance i have i am unable to withdraw it to my bank account it says “ not enough balance” while the balance is 7k,pls can’t someone withdraw his/her money. Lastly they regularly remove fractions of my money sometimes $1 regularly they thought I won’t know lol. Flee from Payday,desist from putting money on it because you will cry more than a baby.

Payday has scammed almost 98% of Africans. I have about 570,000 naira in this this app app, I can’t use the money to do transactions, also I’m unable to withdraw my money back to myself, this is pure wickedness
This is very bad, go to this app instagram and read the heavy bitter complain from everyone whom they stole their money
Funny thing is that their support told me today to update Payday , immediately I updated Payday , Payday can’t open anymore…what a wicked act!!!
I will leave this review here and also I urge the legal authorities to find the owner of Payday, and push him or her to release our funds.

Neither the founder of this company, nor the investors, nor the shareholders, nor the developers, down to every employee should be trusted. Your money means nothing to them. You have a better chance getting your plastic National ID card than getting a reply for their support. After about 2 months of back and forth with support, I lost close to $100 when they finally scrapped the Mastercard, no trace, no response from support. They run this application like it’s some form of Ponzi scheme in the background, a lot of social media PR and ads, with a little to no proper functioning feature.

Give other apps a chance before you decide to take a risk with this one.

On March 17th, I created and funded my this app virtual card. Later, I purchased a digital product which I ended up returning, and the company refunded the amount through PayPal. PayPal confirmed that the funds were returned to this app, yet I have not received the refund on my virtual card. this app's customer service has not answered my inquiries regarding this matter and has repeatedly closed my chat without providing any explanation. This has caused me significant distress, as I worked hard to earn that money. Their customer care is below average, and their slow response time has resulted in several fake this app impersonators attempting to scam me. Therefore, I strongly advise against using this app, as they are a fraudulent company who may end up stealing your money.

Current review: New review alert 🚨🚨🚨 More woes for me, the user, as this app debited me twice for $5 while trying to create a dollar Visa card. Now I’m down $10 and have no card. Please return my money so I can leave your platform for good. It is clear you guys don’t know what you are doing. Nice idea but bad implementation.

Old review: Rate on Leather back was N747/$1 while this app quoted N753. Also buy rate for dollar was N735? Why? The margins shouldn’t be that wide. Also why can’t I transfer from my dollar account to another dollar account but I am forced to sell my dollar at your unfriendly rate because I can only transfer to a naira account? That’s not the promise. Very bad.

I am not that familiar with this app app, I heard about it from someone and tried it out for my online business. Unfortunately, my account was suddenly blocked without notice. After which 3 of my clients transferred money to my this app account. It's more than a month now, I have been requesting that their money be refunded to their various accounts but no response from this app. Is it that Payday was created to trap people's hard earn money?. I did some research and I found out that the Ceo of this app is a young chap like me, Favour Ori, I guess he is not aware of this hardship the admin is melting out on the users of Payday . I think there's need to spread this all over the social media because of the pains we are experiencing as a result of your silence to my plea for the release of the fund.

I remember finding Payday when I was in dire need to pay some bills with a virtual card and for months I was cautious to put only the money that I would need to finance whatever transaction and left nothing in it. Mind you, I'm a student who hardly earns anything with the prices going up on everything but l put in some money to pay for their outrageous price to get a virtual card The virtual card I did t not get I want to withdraw my fund back I couldn’t get it and that’s not even the problem here the stupid app they claimed to age migrated to are saying they do not recognize my account yall had better refund my money cause I’m sick and tired the school I wanted to use the virtual card to pay for I couldn’t now I need my money back I could y get it back over the months 😡😡😡😡😡😖🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬refund my damnnnnnnnnnn money thieves

I remember finding Payday when I was in dire need to pay some bills with a virtual card and for months I was cautious to put only the money that I would need to finance whatever transaction and left nothing in it. Mind you, I'm a corper who hardly earns anything with the prices going up on everything but I put in some money to pay for their outrageous price to renew my virtual card and be able to make purchases on some things. Only for the purchase to not go through, I contacted their support and they promised me that it would be resolved in 24 hours, never did a check up or tried to do anything aside from their stupid reassurances. For $10 they could not refund my money back for weeks and I'm still soliciting that they return it before I conclude my deal with their application forever.

Firstly, Payday automatically logs you out after one week, meaning you have to login back everytime, Terrible customer service, it takes hours for them to reply and days for issues to be resolved I have had Payday for over 5 months and there always an issue with the service, from deposit to withdrawal issue and now login issues. Terrible experience once I’m able to use up my funds on the card I’m deleting asap. And if it was possible to not give a star at all I would.

Payday does what it advertises and they are Constantly updating and communicating changes and issues - which I appreciate - but the recent issue with Mastercard services not being available is a total bummer.
I got the Visa card and still had issues. Thankfully, customer service was patient enough to see it to a satisfying conclusion.

I am relatively new to this app,... and i have nothing bad to say about them nor their services. So far, it has been pleasant, and stress free transactions with them. Their virtual USA bank account and MasterCard services is top notch. And their exchange rates is not so bad, though, there’s room for improvement.
I’m glad I didn’t read any of the many bad reviews before signing up, else, i would have passed on a very good product. I will happily recommend it to anyone else.

I’m new to this app and it’s a great app; works well and the cards pay seamlessly online.

The only thing i see is sometimes the usd account may not display and the fixed buttons in some layouts interfere with the forms and the scroll bounces back under the button. I think the buttons should scroll; it’s natural; people will scroll down to continue.

Hopefully you can update this little change. Thanks.

I had a hard time making a U.S payment form Nigeria. I tried the Visa card but the web kept rejecting it but this app made sure to contact the card issuer to resolve the issue. They responded to my messages even in the middle of the night. Thankfully, in less than a week I was able to make the payment with my this app Visa card. I pray their service gets better. Give them a try

I had a terrible experience but it was resolved immediately they found out, had enough screenshots for them.A good thing they are doing but the low Nigerian citizen has decided to trick people and steal from them, this app is a different level to solving many problem with international payments, they may be slow in responding but trust me when they respond they solve the problem immediately. So I will give them a 5 stars.

Started using this app for a month now and I can say without mincing words that they are an essential service for the African fintech market. I have been having issues making online payment, particularly subscriptions, due to the restrictions from CBN on the $20 limit on all debit cards and this app came through for me. Their virtual cards works perfectly.

I love how they also prevent their platform from being used by fraudsters for malicious purposes. If they notice any malicious activity on their platform, they freeze it and notify the authorities.

I’m so happy to have started using Payday, they literally give you every opportunity a normal bank gives. Payday has allowed me pay for many online courses via my in app card, isn’t that thrilling. There is no limit and they have extremely tight security!. Please work on your customer representatives but asides that Payday is soooo nice 👌
