The password field isn’t accepting certain symbols. The login button gets disabled. Also, your support link via iOS install page is dead or incorrect.
The update to this new app was supposed to make this better but it hasn’t. My biggest complaint is that I can no longer see the available balance on my credit card. So I literally of to calculate using the outstanding balance. Really?????
This “upgrade” is a serious DOWNGRADE. Republic is ridiculous. Locking users out. Not user friendly. Without notice you are forced to change your password and redo settings. It is truly disappointing but then again only in Trinidad. NEGATIVE 5 stars.

Took you guys so long to update Republic and come out with an even worse app.
Both my phones got wet so Face ID and Touch ID stopped working. My Bank of America app still lets me in with password but not this app. It’s easier to lose a driver’s license than to fix my issue. 5th time I had problems.
App takes me directly to a sync approval page when logging in then fails to load and times out. Never had any good experience with this app’s entire new system. Still horrible
App support link brings me to a 404 - otherwise I’d message you there.
Can’t access account or transaction for any accounts. I can see balances but if I click on them, it says: Not enough permissions
Is simply doesn’t work most of the time and it is not user friendly. The last this app Mobile app was bad but when you think it couldn’t get any worse they “upgraded” it to this.
What’s the point of the new mobile app? I can’t view my bank information and the online application is not user friendly to much information that is not needed. The information you are requesting to register a personal mobile app is too much and private like the card number and client id

Republic on first download it appeared simple and easy to use. After a few days there’s always a constant error in retrieving your information. Republic is a waste of time and phone space. The developers need to do more research and offer customers a better service than an incompetent piece off…
Day two of trying to get Republic open after multiple uninstall and reinstall attempts. Republic launches and then force quits everytime you choose an option from the notification prompt.
The annoying part is that the old app isn't working. So basically no mobile banking option available.
Tried to log-in using the requested credentials but the sign in button greys out when a special character like $ or # or & is typed into the password field, thus you can’t login. When I log in with my credentials, it takes me to that page where it gives you the option of an OTP, which doesn’t work for me at all, as well as the sync approval which worked a few times before , but now it just loads and times out without going to my account and it prompts me to log back in with... Apparently this app bank had 10 Jamaican dollars as their entire budget to build Republic. Absolute rubbish in every single aspect. Fire the developers. Fire everyone associated with Republic
Nice UI - streamlined with fluid transitions. Good layout of icons for frequently used features. Setup was not as smooth as it could have been but nonetheless I did not experience the same issues as others have reported.
To be fixed: warning emails of duplicate sessions are being sent.
A significant improvement compared to the last version, but still some way off from being good. The “Bank at my fingertips” is often unavailable and you’re shown, “An error occurred, try again”. Quite useful app. I can conduct all my transactions on the go.
My only issue is with the most recent app update. Why am I only able to see the Current Balance of my Credit Card on My Products dashboard. The Available Credit was shown previously.
With the update, the easiest way to access this is to first login using the desktop browser and change your password. I used the OTP option on Republic .
After that, it’s smooth sailing on the mobile apps. The interface is better now. There are more options compared to the old versions.
This is a great banking App which I use to transfer money to this app, RBC and even Bank of Saint Lucia and other major foreign banks. It’s always being updated (thanks dev for moving the confirming button up) and the programmers should get a raise for this outstanding App!
You’d think they could afford to make a better interface and way to navigate Republic but it’s a poor experience consistently in app and real life with this bank.
Republic is saying that my device (iPhone) is jailbroken. However my device is not jailbroken!!! Also the website for online banking does not work atm. You guys are putting me in a sticky situation. Please fix ‼️‼️‼️‼️
Step in the right direction, still feels like an app in 1950 but needs some work to maintain a few transactions on Republic
I’m not able to even open Republic as it crashes as soon as I try to open Republic . And now my older RBL app doesn’t work.
On first use a lot of features didn’t work but as I continued to use it things that weren’t showing up eventually started to work / show up...there is possibly an expected delay with syncing the information onto your new app account.
