There is no voice button on the Roku this app control, presumably to force people to download Remote and buy a subscription. Now I can’t find the voice control button in Remote even after paying the subscription fee.

Remote simply does not work reliably. You only download it because the original this app that ships with the TV breaks. To add insult to injury you download Remote, you get charged a subscription and then it doesn’t work. This is the definition of a scam. Don’t download it. For those that have, perhaps we should start a class action lawsuit.

Remote don’t work , I have asked for my money back and I haven’t received it . I was supposed to have a free three day trial period . They took my money straightOut of my Apple iPad have not received any word about myUnsatisfaction !I do not even want to get one star but have to but it’s not worth a tiny point of a star

I have a Roku tv with a lost this app. The tv has never been used before. I plugged the tv in and it wants to be set up. I downloaded Remote to use the this app to set up the tv, but it won’t work unless your tv is already set up. I don’t know what to do now. How can I get my tv on my Wi-Fi if the this app app won’t work on it????

I downloaded Remote to use but then found the actual controller. Didn't even get to connect Remote to the television and i forgot to unsubscribe being busy with three kids. Cancelled it day of charge. Not able to contact company to see if it will cancel the payment.

It’s not enough that my this app control isn’t working after only 2 years — but now after downloading the Roku this app app it barely works. YES my phone is connected the internet… YES my tv is on and connected to the internet and it still doesn’t work. Why is the stupid company charging to use an app that should be free AND IT DOESN’T WORK. Save your money and don’t buy a Roku TV… this app… nothing

There were so many advertisements I could not use the this app. After 30 minutes of trying to enter my password for different things I said screw it. Remote is terrible I only need the this app for a couple days until my daughter brings mine back. She accidentally moved with it. I would give it zero stars if I could.

If you are like me you are getting this because you forgot your this app.
Well I’m order to use this your Roku must first be connected.
So let’s say you brought your Roku on vacation and forgot your this app. Without a this app you cant put your Roku on the internet because you need the this app to click through the settings. And you can’t use this this app unless your Roku is connected to said internet!!

No reason to purchase this what’s so ever!!

Take the Subscription off and then I will give a better rating

Remote doesn’t let you cancel it and charges $20 a month

I canceled my subscription never used app they still took my out my children mouth and I’m a singl parent it’s not right

How can you turn on the tv if you don’t have a this app???? Useless app

Question.. if one can not turn their tv on because their this app is lost. Then how are they expected to turn it on so that Remote can connect to it?.. I’m using a Roku, one of several that don’t have manual on and off buttons. A this app is needed. And since Remote only works for tvs with manual buttons on it, I’ll just have to go buy a new Roku this app.
Might want to add to y’all’s description that Remote only works if ur tv is already on. Would’ve saved time and bad reviews.

It is literally a this app app why should we have to pay for it?? We gotta pay money to be able to turn it down ? That’s ridiculous.

I use my cell phones hotspot to run my Roku TV which it runs it perfectly. I purchased the “Roku this app” for $20 that downloads to your phone and I go to turn the power on to my Roku tv and it says I need toConnect to Wi-Fi . I have hotspot on my phone that works for three or four devices at the same time but I can’t run the this app . ridiculous.

Way too many ads you can’t even push a different button without ads will not allow you to power off without paying for a subscription Easy to install but worst this app app ever

So many ads I counted every 5 buttons there’s an ad the rewind hardly works and since it doesn’t work you have to manually scroll back which takes forever because the absurd amount of ads half of the actions that the this app is supposed to preform are pay walled just download the one by roku it’s easier

i’m scrolling and it’s annoying to get hit with an ad every time i press down 3-4 times. pointless ad because i just keep skipping it so why show the same ad over and over 😒

Most of the buttons do not work and there is continuous advertisement every second. Makes it almost impossible to use Remote for more than 5 seconds.

Remote is great but the DISCOVER AD is COMPLETE TRASH. You can’t even click the X in the top right corner. Would’ve been 5 stars but that is a jag off spot for it to be.

I think that it is amazing but I hate how some thing you need to pay for can y’all make some stuff free like picking what app you want to go to by the phone please and thank you over all I think its pretty good

I understand this generates revenue but keeps allowing advertising multiple times before you really decide on what to watch. I have bought a few Roku T.V’s the remotes fail so use Remote what is worse flooding Remote with advertising or keep buying remotes 🤐

The reason I gave it a 3 star is because every time I use it about 20 seconds after, I get adds and no other app I’ve had does I don’t understand but it gets the job done when needs but the ads are too much

It’s not really that good because there’s no turn up volume. I don’t know there’s no turn up volume no turn down there’s only mute on there, so that’s why I give it a four star. Anyways, I love it.

I gave this a 4 out of 5 star rating because I'm hopeful it will enhance my TV connection. Every time I open Remote , I have to wait to locate my TV for connection, and it takes quite a while to load and connect.

Would rate 5 stars if it weren’t for all the adds! I wouldn’t even mind a couple hear and there but I can’t even change the channel without an add.

I absolutely love this Roku tv this app. It’s awesome and so easy to use. My mom gets mad because I can operate the tv from my phone so she can’t tirn the volume down on her own. She has to ask me. I love it! 😂🫶🏾

Very good for if you loose your this app instead of ordering a new stick and hdmi setup this is a quick easy fix and it works great practically like the this app itself on your phone and maybe you’ve gotten more used to this then the actual this app itself which it’s very useful for

I needed a this app immediately and there’s so much ease in using this this app. I like it a lot. Too lazy to buy another one so that it can get lost by my 2 year old.

Works with all our tv’s and even our firestick. My husband has so many apps on our main television and I can easily use the this app on my phone to select out of my favorites

Awesome to have on your phone am constantly missing place this app or taking to use on other devices but I always have my phone.

Cool app since my dog chewed my this app to the point I can’t use it. Just hate that we have to pay for this when it should b me free after purchasing the tv.

Best this app I ever used. It’s truly amazing that I barely use my tv this app because it’s constantly getting lost lol. Remote gives me no problems at all whatsoever. I definitely highly recommend to use this ruku this app app.

I’ve spent so much money on the physical remotes and beyond tired of that so fingers crossed this doesn’t crap out me. Other than that so far I love it

I misplaced my roku this app while moving. A friend told me about an app I could download on my phone for free. My cell phone acts just like the this app when I click on Remote . It’s awesome!!

Lost this app, but found this one, and it’s even better than the one I lost. And even when I found the other this app, I still use this one!

So I had technical issues but they could have been me and my equipment? I’ve finally set it up to work and I’m very happy with Remote! Def more options than what are on my actual this app. But it does keep loosing my wifi

The reason I think Remote is very nice to have is because if you lost your this app or it broke you can just use Remote when your playing your phone at night so you can easily switch through shows and watch tv.
