First I tried renewing my magazine subscription. Nope. Can’t. Apparently my name is on their system twice so I have to have my subscription number - which is printed on the wrapper you throw away and not on the magazine. Great. I will not be getting any more issues - so now I have to call to try to work out the problem.
Then I filled my cart with over $200 in items to purchase. I clicked “proceed to check out.” It won’t proceed. Instead I get an error that Shopify says the item doesn’t exist. So one by one I remove each item - hoping to find the one that doesn’t exist. But apparently none of them exist. So empty cart and no way to purchase what I wanted.
Done. Not impressed with the app and don’t want to waste any more of my time on it to find out what else doesn’t work.

Shopping through this app is miserable! There’s a ridiculous delay for every single item you click on or add to your cart and the “search” feature is near impossible to locate! It’s at the very bottom of your screen where you have to scroll allll the way down to where you’d find the “Help” section. Not user friendly AT . ALL. Most of the time I receive an error when Im trying to shop until I ultimately just give up. Magnolia has lost countless sales from me due to the operation of this app while trying to shop.

I know its hard to believe, but there are actually lots of people who have to go sit at a McDonalds to submit school work or attend zoom calls. The least a subscription could offer is a downloadable content option so i can view some feel-good shows while lying on my couch at home, or have something new for the kids to watch on a long drive.
One star for Magnolia and Discovery Plus until the change is made. It’s a little ridiculous that they chose not to include downloads in their apps.
