THe Black Star Network is the only network that is loyal to our community. It brings the information that is necessary for us to be informed, and that information also “forms” our thinking and community. It is not to be compared to CNN, MSNBC and other media platforms because they are not made to address the challenges that are unique to our community. The Black Star Network is OUR jewel because offers knowledge. Knowledge - and how to use it - is very powerful.

Roland Martin has brought back pride and knowledge that our Black people need. They have empowered us to continue on to fight for the lives of our people and children. It has given us hope. Get ready to be educated and entertained! Have been watching Mr Roland Martin for years. Since he launched his platform RMU 3 years ago I have learned so much about our history and what is really going on with our people today. His guests are knowledgeable about their field of study and there is no misinformation that will lead us astray. Now, with this expansion, they sky is the limit!

Omg! If you don’t know by now, don’t come here for anything if you haven’t done you research. This is why I recommend this network, everything is fact checked and if not ooowee on you. The Black Star Network brings you valuable insightful information pertinent to the Black community that you can’t find on the “mainstream” networks.
One can actually see that there are many Blacks from around the world that are experts in various areas of importance (politics, medicine, education, economics, etc.). The Black community doesn’t just dance and post Tick-Tock videos, we are actually doing great things in this world.

I have enjoyed, been informed and have been energized by the news Roland Martin has provided. These reactions have enticed me to investigate his other shows such as the Black Table and Living a Balanced Life as well as the numerous interviews Mr. Roland has presented on this platform. I regularly tune in to the logical approach Mr. Martin presents news stories because his presentation makes me examine the reason I feel the way I do on different subjects.

I really can’t put into words how much TBSN have changed my mindset on how important it is to hear our thoughts, voices, feelings and our stories. I love Uncle Roland, I’ve been watching you since I first saw you on TVone in the early morning hours. I love the way you report the news. Raw, uncut and unapologetic. Your panel always ask the right questions and really go beneath the surface of the topics. I wish my mainstream media would stop being so scared and start asking the hard questions and challenge these people like you do. Love your team, love what you guys are doing in front and behind the camera. Keep up the good work.

I want to say thank you to the founder’s and developers of the Black Star Network. Each and every host brings an abundance of knowledge which I find interesting and informative. I often share the messages in each show with my family, friends and neighbors of all ethnic groups. Your channel educates and motivates your audience to attempt to see the world through the black experience. It also encourages us all to think and delve deeper into the why the world works in the manner it does.

Mr Roland I’ve been a fan of you since TV1 News…and still a fan/admirer of your information and education that you provide on the screen. You got me taking notes…I’m an old-timer buff of the video productions. Thank you for your non-stop persona at informing our folks, especially me, on the things that matter to us. I would like to thank God for sending Us Uncle Rolin “row row” Marlin. For years live watched and supported career. To see a strong, positive, high educated Black man; on national TV Speaking pure facts to power, articulating his perceptive in ways that resinate with my soul. Fight through all adversity to reach this level of ownership. It is a true blessing from the most high. This Network means so much to us as Africans, and shows our sky is limitless. I love you, respect you, and will always support you. FOREVER!!!!!!! Please fix the live programs they never work for me. But I always view them the next day.

I have been following Roland Martin Unfiltered about 1 year after it became a digital news show. What I appreciate is that he keeps it black and keeps it real! He makes a point to highlight news and coverage that will NEVER be shown on MSM!! I love that he’s an honest journalist who will call out anyone regardless of skin color, party affiliations, or status. I love the history he shares with the viewers. I have learned lots of things from his guests and his knowledge. I also love that he makes it a point to highlight the conversation about black owned vs black targeted media and his fight to get advertising dollars to black owned media. It’s an honor to witness his innovation!

I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my news without making Blackstar Network my first stop. I believe in Roland Martin, the staff and the panelists for how they so passionately and with competency speak on the topics. Whatever the events or policies are, I come away with a clear understanding of the content. I’ve followed Mr. Martin for years on his various news programming on Tv One, CNN, and I’ve found him to be trustworthy and credible. The Blackstar Network is a jewel. That’s why I protect it with my contributions. I make it a habit to contribute more than what is asked for by Roland. The scriptures refer to this as, “Being faithful over another man work.” I’m so happy to be associated with this Work.

I definitely appreciate the Black Star Network for being an example of what WE need to see. Great news, real talk and w/ no chaser! Mr. Martin you have brought receipts “facts” and yes I’m a member of the bring the funk fan base- putting my money where it needs to be in educating, uplifting and inspiring new leaders for the fight ahead!
