Truly great app. Works offline, saves favorites and locations, shows everything that I need and nothing more. The most truly impressive is that it’s open source, respects your privacy, and doesn’t try to sell you on crazy upgrades or annoying ads.

I really want to thank the developers and team who make this possible, it’s one of the few apps that I trust.

By far the best non-Apple and non-Google maps app I've ever found (and I've looked for a while). Considering how much data your map use leaks, it's definitely refreshing to have a privacy-conscious alternative. Thanks to the developers and contributors for making this project available!

This is not a complaint just info others might want to know. I appreciate the people who have put this together!

When I want directions to the nearest Walmart I’ll type in “Walmart” and the nearest one doesn’t show up, but as soon as I add a “s” (supercenter) “walmart s” it shows up. This happens quite a bit so keep typing the full name and what you’re looking for might show up.

ETA is way longer than it should be. For example when I put in a route I know takes 45 minutes I will get a ETA of one hour. This happens anytime I use it. Once you start driving big chunks of time will start coming off the ETA. Just know you will be early which is better than late!

Once you have a destination it works as it should.

Great app, just about the only privacy-focused maps app. Just missing one feature (i don’t believe it is a bug) which is to provide voice guidance over Bluetooth connection while music/podcasts are playing at the same time.

Should also provide a tip jar function, would be more than willing to donate!

Just updated and got broken names, titles and buttons everywhere.
Update: hmm, interesting, just switched from (English UK) to (English) and it worked. Titles are back. Thanks for the tip.

I really wanna use this since it’s one of the only privacy-respecting navigation apps, but the main problem I found was that it doesn’t have house/building numbers as you zoom in on the map. I’m a delivery driver so numbers are super helpful.

It’s nice to have an application that lets me download maps without asking for an outrageously expensive subscription!

I delete all other map apps, they either stole personal data or slow and large not battery efficient.

Thank you guys. I’ve waiting for an entire year for this launch.

Works flawlessly on my iPhone. Unfortunately at mu Eubaru Outback or my VW Passat in Car Play night mode is not switching to day mode no matter what I tried. Because of this it’s useless for me, unless I only use it at night time 😊

I bet my money back in 2014 when it was MAPS.ME, I will continue putting my money on it now. You guys make us all happy for almost a decade!

No ads, no trackers, just fast offline maps. Import tracks and bookmarks in KML/KMZ, offline search, many OpenStreetMap features on the map.

In the wake of Big Tech stealing your data left and right, this is a fantastic alternative to Google Maps or Apple Maps in which you can view the source code for yourself and be reasonably assured your data isn’t being sold or used to target ads.

Need some features similar to Waze to be perfect. Otherwise, 95/100

Coming from Android and been using F-Droid for years, I known OrganicMaps since then and luckily it available on IOS as well. However for some emergency situation it is mostly impossible to use OrganicMaps because I never have any luck by searching with address only without tracing the map and manually pin point where it is. But I have no complain though since this is using OSM database. Both Organics Map and OSM created for people and the community. Therefore I would like to contributing by adding, edit places. But the problem is I could not edit the name of a building or add additional tags. Currently only 4 tags available to edit to an empty building which is useless in my opinion - Add a street - Building Number - Zip code - Number of floor I would like to edit the category, name, description and more tags which will definitely make the maps more usable in the future and avoiding using external OSM editors just to adding name and essential information of a place.

Updated: My fault, I didn't notice there was an option to add place which was put inside the hamburger icon.

I used to use maps.me before it changed for the worse so I tried some other open street maps apps. While they were fine, none matched the ease of use and reliability of the old maps.me app. Organic Maps brings it all back! I’d highly recommend OrganicMaps for people looking for a good open street maps client. I also think the developers should add a “tip” in app purchase because I’m happy to throw some money their way for their hard work.

Maps.me is dead. Long live Organic Maps!

Organic Maps is quickly becoming my favorite maps app. Very smooth UI, driving, hiking, transportation maps, all with ability to save and pin locations .. ALL OFFLINE! Definitely a 5 star app! OrganicMaps is a new player In the mapping game and already kicking butt! Only suggestion to add is maybe having a satellite view as well.

Does everything the original maps.me does! Offline maps and routing. Would be even more of a killer navigation app to replace all others if GPX support was added to support route overlays!

I’m using it while traveling in Switzerland. Maps are very detailed, and don’t require internet connection. I have used MAPS.ME before, and OrganicMaps looks simpler, cleaner and better.
It would be great to see more features and improvements in the future.
