I’m sorry but if you truly wanted to help people control their spending and help with debt then you would NOT charge $50 for an annual membership that’s ABSURD. Obviously you do not care about helping others if that’s what it takes to use Financielle … please don’t get Financielle and support people who take advantage of anyone that just wants to make a better change in their life. I understand the hustle but $50!?!? Ridiculous.
I found Financielle on TikTok as an ad and it seemed as if it was going to be free and very helpful for my future budgeting but I was wrong. As soon as I clicked the budgeting icon it wanted me to pay monthly with a 30 day free trial in order to even use Financielle ! It’s an app to budget and save but they want a monthly fee?? Yeah, What a waste of space.
I was surprised that the main draw of Financielle, the budget tool, is also the only thing you have to pay for… every month. Yet all the other resources are free? Really doesn’t make sense to me. I was looking forward to trying it out to save money, not spend more.
I tried to use Financielle, but there is a LOT of noise. It doesn’t respect the configured currency: it continues to show £ in all the examples, and in my budget. It uses weird “hip” terms for budgeting concepts that aren’t at all intuitive.
Overall: It’s like a finance blog with configuration options.
This looks like a cool app however there’s no free version, you can’t even use then most simple feature like budget without giving out your credit card. No thanks.
Ironic it’s a budget helping app, but it charges???? Confusing what their point is. Instantly deleted Financielle once it asked me for a payment plan. No thank you! There’s better apps out there.
