Stole my money

I bought the previous version and it’s just… gone and deleted now? Ridiculous! And this new version is free!? You guys should have updated the last one, it was perfectly good. This one is very “mid” aka not the best. Wish you guys would take customer feedback.

Need update

Why there is no tap for history and settings like previous one?

No history

They removed the history feature from Geekbench 5 so what is the point of this. Just bring back Geekbench 5 or update this to have history😡

so many wrong things

No History? no options to choose between single and multi score tests? very unprofessional.

Crashes on completion + no history = useless

Crashes on completion + no history = useless

Needs work

Please bring back the history tab.

No history?

Why doesn’t it have history like previous versions?

History

The fact you guys took away history is wrong on your part…. We paid for 5 and now you give us less?

Please fix

Not working

!

Rubbish and can’t even change my gravatar manually. Going back to 5.

How to interpret the score?

So, I know the score, and then what? Can I see how it compares against other devices, different iOSs, or over time?

Thank you for being an AppleBench!!

I was really disappointed to see such practice from Geekbench developers.

History

Where did the history section go so I can see my past tests? The whole reason I use Geekbench6 is so I can compare devices over time.

Way too minimalist

Geekbench 5 was great. Local history, nice minimal ui nothing really to complain about. Now with 6, there is no local history, and no tabs to move across to see system info or anything of the sort. A huge downgrade from Geekbench 5.

Removing over versions is bad for comparisons

I’m giving them 1 star because they removed version 5. How am I supposed to compare newer devices to older ones when they remove the older version as they release a newer? I could at least run both versions on the same device and get a relative idea how they compare, then sumo side the differences going forward.

Doesn’t work

Like the subject line says, Geekbench6 just straight up doesn’t work. Tried running benchmarks but it crashes every time halfway through.

DISAPPOINTING

What happened to the history??? Not only that, but what about comparisons of your device benchmarks to that of others?!? This version is a MAJOR FAIL compared to 5. Get it together developers!

Can’t seem to find the app in settings

Was looking for app but for sum reasons don’t show up ? How can that be when it uploads to the internet for scores needs data for that ! Pretty odd and not for me once Geekbench 5 was gone so is geekbench 6

Needs local history

They need to bring back the list of historical results within Geekbench6 . And there should be a way to share results without uploading (even if it’s a paid purchase like the desktop version)

No History

Where’d the history tab go?

History

WHERE IS THE HISTORY??

Needs local history

no benchmark history

and the scores still don’t factor in efficiency.

It removes the history

We need the history back for this to be a replacement for Geekbench 5. Also, since Geekbench 5 users that paid don’t get Geekbench 6 for a discount, I personally won’t be upgrading to 6 as a main benchmark.

…why?

I don’t understand why they couldn’t just update Geekbench 5 for whatever changed in 6, especially since we payed for 5 and this is now free? Ok cool, but it doesn’t have history? Why would you remove that, backed out to do the GPU test and forgot what my CPU test was. Do I have to take a screenshot now, instead of the convenient history that automatically logged everything in 5? Just… why?

iPhone 15 Pro Max

Why does it automatically sense that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is a “iPhone 16,2” instead of just listing it as “iPhone 15 Pro Max” like it does with all the other iPhone comparisons? Just curious.

Crash

Its a good app but it crashes a lot when I use it

Why there is no history

Previous test history missing

How

My phone a regular iPhone 11 did way better than a IPhone 11 Pro Max like how and also the person that gifted me the phone said it was a 11 pro but the system just says it’s a default 11 but still HOW IS IT BETTER THAN A 11 PRO MAX

Good Benchmark but…

There should be a way to link the results to your geekbench account. This would allow us to compare devices much easier

Good Synthetic Benchmarks

I like the new UI/UX design of Geekbench. I wish we could do Vulkan and Metal benchmarks.

The one thing that’s missing is a “history” tab. So you can see your past benchmarks. Which would allow you to see if an update is wonky for example. You would have the bench numbers right there to compare to.

It’s a good benchmark all and all but could use some improvement.

History?

Great app don’t get me wrong, but an entirely new app and no history?!

Great

Geekbench6 helps benchmark several different tests and does a great job at it. Keep it up!

Geekbench 6 review

The best application!

Great benchmarking app

Geekbench has always been my goto whenever I wanted to make sure my phone is performing as it should.

New benchmark!!!

Would have been better if it showed the cache properly in iOS😒

Need history and device comparison

Bring back the device history and the single core/multi core device comparison.

Update the website

Great to see my favorite benchmark get a major update; hope to soon see the browser website updated to show the results though.

Features

In Geekbench 6, new tests measure performance in popular application areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, and Machine Learning, so you'll know how close your device is to the cutting edge.

Instead of just crunching digits of pi for an hour or doing 80 different versions of the same task, Geekbench's tests measure tasks like how quickly a device can load an example website, render a PDF, add filters to photos, and process HDR.

Designed from the ground-up for cross-platform comparisons, Geekbench allows you to compare system performance across devices, operating systems, and processor architectures.
