For an app that claims to make uploading photos easier I’d rather just use the built in Switch photo sender because I took 50 scans with this thing and not once did it connect to the switch wi do server successfully. Meanwhile the send to smartphone option on Switch worked perfectly the whole time. Don’t waste your time with SwitchBuddy.

I tried using this to connect to my Switch because I wasn’t able to connect the normal way. I got the exact same results. My phone DID NOT CONNECT AT ALL. Do not download!! Complete waste of time.

Simply doesn’t work.
I only downloaded SwitchBuddy because when I use my regular camera I couldn’t connect so I went to a website called imore and it recommended SwitchBuddy.
I downloaded it and tried it and got the same exact results of my regular camera which was a complete waste of time.

The files have to be selected on the Switch which limits you to 10 files at a time, before you can connect the Switch to your phone. You cannot transfer your whole library in “as little as 3 taps,” which defeats the purpose of having the separate app in the first place.

First off why have a fee for SwitchBuddy? I see it as just a way to explore what games you can get for your Switch. Secondly and possibly more important is the fact that there’s not enough information about the games. Like you can filter for multiplayer games but it doesn’t tell you which games are only two players or which ones are more than two players. I downloaded SwitchBuddy to find 4 player games that I can play with my kids and since I have 3 kids I like 4 player games. It seems as though they put little effort into SwitchBuddy and are just interested in making money. They are short on information and the fact that SwitchBuddy would help sell games better if it had certain information and no fees. If nothing else why not include it in the switch online app that also has a fee. Double dipping is not the best idea in my opinion. Maybe think about the fact that original NES systems were played by the parents of the kids who have a Switch and there was only the cost of the games. There are far to many fees associated with gaming these days and with the cost of the system, controllers, games, and online play enough is enough.

Bro SwitchBuddy is cringe because most of the stuff it can’t do like I have the animal crossing switch and I can’t use the theme because I don’t want to pay and you can link your account so you can see your page or nothing all you can do is send screenshots to there not only that but I can literally go on my switch and see what’s coming soon on there💀 if you don’t need it don’t use and pay for it cause there is no reson to take up storage on you phone\tablet\other

It takes forever to connect

So I thought SwitchBuddy would be better than regular Nintendo switch photo share. But you have to do the exact same thing as regular switch photo share so it’s not worth getting unless you can figure out how to transfer the whole album

I love SwitchBuddy but it requires you too update your switch

I’ve tried almost all of the game tracking apps and didn’t like any of them. This one is the one I found that was really good. My only frustration is it’s Switch only and I can’t track other games too.

I like SwitchBuddy very well as a parent. Makes it easier to understand what my 10 year old is asking me to buy. But when I search, the result screen is cut off, I tried to send feedback, but it wanted me to download another app for my email and I already have three apps for my email accounts for work and schools. Update the search feature and I will update my review. ;)

Okay so SwitchBuddy can be very useful and also can be nice if you are willing to do something I find not worth it pay 23 dollars for a forever payment of the this app+ but the things it give you like unlimited favorites but on the eshop you can do that completely free and the thing where you can see more deals if you just search up what you want than you can see the deal unless you are all ways just browsing than many just many it would be worth it but some of the paid features are worth it but in the end it just does not even out but the free features are nice and the free side of SwitchBuddy is making SwitchBuddy worth my time

i don’t understand why i can’t hear the sound on the videos in my gallery after I scanned them. It would be useful to have to I wouldn’t have to scan it again for the sound

If someone has premium lifetime on SwitchBuddy I feel they should be able to control the price especially since there are different levels to the premium version of SwitchBuddy so if the lifetime users could control the price of the game they want (dropping it to something reasonable Like 20$ as the lowest) then not only would sales go up but SwitchBuddy would blow up and more importantly I would be satisfied knowing that I didn’t wast my money on getting notifications

Is there a way to create folders for different islands and a way to delete photos/folders already transferred? I keep restarting islands because I get bored and all pictures of new islands get loaded into an old island folder.

I love SwitchBuddy , I think it would be awesome if it also kept track of the upcoming games for the n64/gameboy/nes etc ports, but I know that’s asking for a lot. Honestly it’s fantastic how it is!

It’s really good it’s gives me my pics clean and all and news makes it better it fast and easy to use

Love SwitchBuddy! It is so convenient to transfer my screenshots and videos from my Switch with this! 10/10, would totally recommend.

SwitchBuddy is quite phenomenal in listing deals, news, and so much more for the Switch. My only suggestion would possibly be yo include reviews or critic ratings on the games so I may know what game’s worth purchasing.

SwitchBuddy is already perfect as It is . But would be even more if there was a “my game collection” section . Where we could keep track of the switch games we own physically and digitally. I would love to see this feature implemented .

amazing app! so easy & fast. uploads the screenshots straight to your phone. if you’re having problems w/ SwitchBuddy , try updating it; I was having some glitch issues following the first download but noticed it required an extra update.

So I was just on my phone and then I seen SwitchBuddy and It looked cool I can search games like legend of Zelda or Fortnite and more games and there is a genre if your looking for a type of game like first person or a shooting game so you should get This I mean it dose not have a ad show up every second or annoying stuff so if your looking for games for yourself or ur child get this it’s amazeing! 👍👍🤩😺👍🫰🏻

This works amazingly well to get screenshots and all off my Switch however…. A small suggestion: I donated to the Tip Jar to help and was surprised to get different themes as a bonus however only unlocked some of them making me think it’s based on a tier of what you donate. This should be better noted in SwitchBuddy . Reading it made me think I’d get all the themes…. Not just some?

SwitchBuddy is excellent!! The UI is very nice, not boring, and functional. It is extremely convenient to be able to save up to 10 pictures at once instead of selecting each to save from the menu.

No more wanting to import Nintendo switch photos.

It works as it says it should and looks good. I like the simplistic user interface

I love SwitchBuddy, its easy to use and so much better than transferring photos from switch to mobile device normally. :)

nothing much to it, but SwitchBuddy is simple and sweet and makes transferring media that much easier. 100% recommend.

I’ve never had an issue with SwitchBuddy. The QR scanning always works, and it makes transferring screenshots a breeze. Super helpful, would recommend to anyone with a Nintendo Switch.

It is genuinely amazing how much faster this makes transferring screenshots from the Switch to your phone. Just wish I’d known about this a couple of years ago!

SwitchBuddy is amazing and I like that it could store your photo and video of your game play and you can change the logo of SwitchBuddy I would love to give them a tip if you were a nintendo fan! 🤩

SwitchBuddy is cool because I can save these pictures and then delete them right after because I have them in my phone I recommend getting SwitchBuddy and plus it is free

Hey! I really like SwitchBuddy you I hope you see this because I have an idea to make SwitchBuddy even better! I think you should add a screenplay option so you can watch what you playing on your mobile device!

Not much else to say, it does what I needed a photo transfer.
