Realize - Design & Shop Reviews

Saw someone showed me this at a party. They were very excited about it. It looked awesome. Was worth using 220MB of mobile data and signing up to try it!

Sadly however when I try to run it my app just gets stuck on “connecting to servers”. Then it shows a progress bar at 0% that never moves. This is after signing up and making an account.

However, it’s probably my fault because I’m still on iOS 13. Though if iOS 13 isn’t supported, it’d be better just to forbid users like me from downloading it. The demo was so neat, that I still hope to be able to try it myself someday!

I am currently building a custom home. I’ve been having a hard time conceptualizing certain rooms in my head and Realize has really helped me try out multiple design ideas! The feature that maps a room that you’re standing in is really neat and was pretty accurate in my experience. I love how you can import images of actual furniture and decor rather than just a stock image. I had a lot of fun just playing around in the this app app but it also helped me make some tough decisions. Highly recommend!

Realize is great, but most furniture isn’t the same size as my irl furniture, maybe add a feature where you can measure your own furniture? Sometimes it crashes when I try to save, and I would also like a feature where you can add where a closet is, maybe some ceiling fan options would be nice. It might be a good idea to add outlets that you can place, maybe tapestries and posters, but the rest is great! Realize works most of the time.

Have tried to build a room, but the process is a little tedious and app a little slow.
The current offering of furniture is limited.
I have 2 suggestions:
- have generic furniture that you can customize by adding dimensions.
- have the ability to take a photo of any furniture and add dimensions, fabric etc. If you ask the user to add the brand and model, you can begin to have a database of furniture over time.

I do gotta say Realize is amazing. It really has helped me organize my room without even moving anything first.

Though, it would be really nice if they would add an option to have walls different color(for example, if I wanted to paint 2 walls white and 2 blue) it would be nice if it would let me preview how the colors would look and if they would match.
Overall it is a pretty helpful app.

I love Realize especially since I’m remodeling my house gives me an idea how I would like my rooms it would be better if u gave us the ability to duplicate windows or doors and allow us to move them and delete them but so far Realize is amazing

Definitely going to be so helpful when I move into a new apartment. In the meantime, love playing around with the different furniture and art they have! Can’t wait for more items :)

Can’t believe I tried to decorate my place without using Realize first! this app helped me see possibilities for my space that I would have never imagined.

Got it going but it seems like the ap gets the wrong dimensions. It could use lidar instead of doing corners.

The furniture is lacking. If we could choose from a much larger depot it would be the most useful app on the planet. But in short it isn't worth using it at all with the 30 things they got in there as you can't translate your ideas.

Yeahhhh i’ma need an update where you can edit the features of your room after you’re finished scanning. My features were so off I couldn’t even move the windows or door too how my room looks or fix the base of my room because the ruler kept glitching

Tons of fun to see how many different ways I can design my home. Not some generic home… BUT MY HOME. Can’t believe it’s taken this long for a true home design app.

I’m an interior designer and love using this tool to show clients spatial layouts! Super easy to input a room and extremely accurate. Love having Realize in my tool belt!!

This can’t be how Realize is supposed to work. You can’t create your own rooms.
It mentions something about a tutorial but nothing is pulling up but 3 pre made rooms?
Cant rotate any furniture in the rooms either. You’re stuck with the orientation it was originally.

My iPhone 13 PM is up to date, so I think Realize is the one with issues? But who knows.

Its not a bad app but i was trying to add my window multiple times and it was like “oh lets try again” and i trued and it didn't want to add any of my windows and when adding the doors i could not resize one side of the door which was verry annoying

I really love the idea of Realize but it says my rooms too small to scan for a baseline but I know that’s not right. I really want to scan my dorm for my friend who’s living in it next year so she can design it.

Realize is not very calibrated when measuring rooms, gets very glitchy and buggy unload huge loads. Never even got past that, I’m sure it’s decent after that. Maybe
