Deleted the second I saw it was subscription based. I refuse to support any company that just wants to nickel and dime people. Hate the fact that you are no longer able to own the things you pay for.
Update: Since the developer decided to respond to my review. Let me make myself clear, you can keep your garbage subscription based app, nothing you said changes the fact that I can never own this software. My money will be spent on things I can actually own. Just because you are compliant with store policies does not mean this is a good business model. Well yes, it’s good for you, not for your customers. We are living in a time when paid for apps still contain advertisements.

Reveal was AMAZING for a while! I paid for the annual subscription and was very happy with it, that is until a few months ago when it will record a video and then not load it afterwards and the circle just spins and spins, and once you close Reveal poof it’s gone if it wasn’t saved! I’ve lost ALOT of content due to this issue!!!
You can’t exactly redo a live video!
Please do something to fix this so I can give Reveal the 5 stars it deserves.
For now I’m very disappointed 😞

I purchased Reveal- then went and edited a bunch of longer videos. One week after the updated Reveal and videos are capped at 6 minutes. I have now edited a ton of videos which takes awhile in Reveal and have unedited videos that won’t match. Contacted support and they said this was a short form video editing app which it wasn’t when I bought. They said I can get a refund but in the grand scheme that’s not the issue.

First few seconds of audio are always muffled before the sound turns up. Always get more background noise than if I filmed with my normal camera app. I’ve finally got something perfect and it won’t successfully upload and I lose it. It’s been frustrating. Also have had issues where mid video filter comes off for a second or two

I decided to try Reveal and enabled trial mode but was promptly changed for an annual fee! Also Reveal has lots of obvious issues, one of major ones is you cannot use camera horizontally, it starts showing black moving lines on your face! Such a garbage! I would never have purchased Reveal! I feel scammed!

I just wanted to see see if Reveal was worth it and forgot to cancel in time. Now, I’m stuck with Reveal I will never use for a year. What a waste of 35$. They count on people not canceling in time. Crooks.

I enabled trial mode and was promptly charged for an annual fee. What a shady way of doing things. The filters are incredibly artificial looking, I never would have purchased this beyond the trial.

First of all, I just never give reviews. I just don’t, BUT Reveal is so perfect for photo shoots. It has made our sessions for social posts and website content so easy to do. The filters are terrific!! I have one MAJOR request… would you PLEASE offer horizontal shooting mode and the ability to zoom in on the photo or video. Horizontal video mode would make creating awesome videos for YouTube a breeze. I believe this feature would be massive for your subscription. Save time with one touch VS Adobe suite etc etc. it would be an absolute no brainer for consumers and YouTubers.

Is there a way to shoot video in horizontal mode. I tried and it kept messing up the video. Is this made just for vertical shooting? Trying to see if I can use for YouTube videos which can be up to 30 min. But I shoot in horizontal mode. Would like to know before 3 day trial is up. As I have Facetune and Facetune video for vertical mode already.
